The Queen Mary is a historic wedding venue located in downtown Long Beach, California. This on-the-water event venue has been hosting weddings for over 70 years. Making couples feel like royalty on their wedding day, this venue offers majestic views of the Pacific Ocean. No matter the size of your wedding, this boat has the event space to accommodate your needs.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples celebrating their nuptials aboard this venue will do so with elegance and class. The Grand Salon boasts an amazing 9,000 square feet, with ornate wood details, gold and red finishes, and takes your event from amazing to sophisticated. This event space can accommodate up to 700 people. Another indoor option is the Queen’s Salon, accommodating up to 360 people in its 4,600 square feet. For couples holding a wedding fit for a queen, this space offers a luxuriousness that will give your day that royal touch. The Queen's Salon boasts an Art Deco style, three golden onyx fireplaces, and large windows offering views of the sparkling evening sky above the Pacific Ocean.

Other indoor spaces just as grand and impressive as the Grand Salon and Queen’s Salon include the Verandah Grill & Deck, Britannia Salon & Deck, Windsor Salon, Victoria Room, Board Room, Regent Room, Tea Room, and Mauretania Room. These rooms can add as sense of glamour and class to your event, with wood details, Art Deco light fixtures, original murals, and marble fireplaces.

Say your vows under the warm sun on the Sports Deck or Captain’s Deck or under the protection of the Sun Deck Gazebo. Guests will enjoy the views of the water and the fresh sea breeze as they watch you say your “I do’s” in such a breathtaking location.

The Queen Mary is a full-service wedding venue with on-site catering and event planning. Couples who book this venue will work with one of their event managers who can help bring their dream day to life. They can assist with planning all of your wedding-related events, including your ceremony, reception, bridal shower, engagement party, and rehearsal dinner. In addition, The Queen Mary can also host elopements. The planning experts can help with executing all aspects of your wedding, including help with the theme, decor, seating plans, and finding vendors such as a photographer and caterer. Cuisine
On board The Queen Mary, couples will find first-class service with the venue’s catering sales staff. They can work with you to customize your menu and experience, while also staying within your budget. Catering packages might include options such as choice of two tray passed hors d’oeuvres, three-course dinner, and dietary accommodations such as vegetarian dishes. Open and cash bar services can be provided, with a champagne toast; house beer, wine, and liquor; premium liquor; signature drink; and specialty beer and wine.

My husband and I fell in love with this ... Read more ship hotel early on in our relationship and we knew that it was the only place we would want to get married. We worked completely with the wonderful Julie Arroyo from the start and she was great at meeting every question or concern we had with a positive answer. She kept going with the flow as we changed things on her and I think she knew better what we wanted than we did. The ship has gone through a lot of overhauling this past year and we were lucky to have a fresh clean sparkly ship for our ceremony and reception. The chapel is beautiful and if you're looking for a vintage feel to your wedding, this is the place. There's a great art deco look going on since it is a ship that set sail in 1936. We booked a small banquet room for our reception and had an hour cocktail and app. bar which was ideal for our guests to enjoy while we took off for couples pictures. The food was absolutely amazing and even more amazing was the wait staff. I never had to even ask for anything, it was always there before I even knew I needed it. And of course we stayed on the ship the night of the wedding, enjoying a gorgeous state room with a fabulous in room breakfast the next morning. so here's what you might want to know... --Quality of service: excellent. The entire staff actually go out of their way to ensure you're not only satisfied, but incredibly happy. No request is too small or too much. --Responsiveness: We only worked with Julie Arroyo and she was always very attentive. She never let more than a few hours go by between my contacting her and her responding. And considering her workload, I'm amazed at how quickly she responded. Always felt like we were her only clients. --Professionalism: Should go without saying after reading the above... absolutely 100% Profesional. --Value for cost: Depending on what you book on the ship, there's a price range for everyone. It's a gorgeous and one of a kind venue and you are waited on hand and foot... so you definitely get what you pay for, that being said, it's a great value. We had a small number of guests, but opted for the most expensive dinner plate option per person and our entire ceremony and reception cost us well under $2000. --Flexibility: We changed our mind about timing and meals and venue for the dinner at least 10 times and there was never a mention of it being an issue from Julie when we called of visited with new changes. Everything was just always taken care of. Basically, if you want a wedding venue that is unique, luxurious and vintage... this is your place.
