The venue also provides overnight accommodations in various rooms of the house, and they provide a list of outside vendors to help you plan the wedding of your dreams. History
Built by Dr. Asa Stratton in 1859 as the residence of Dr. Stratton and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Stratton, this venue used to feature a one-room schoolhouse in the backyard which is still a cornerstone of the property. In 1914, the property was remodeled to include a kitchen, two rooms, and an extension of the impressive front porch. Then, the house was left untouched for nearly 100 years. In 2015, Katie and Hampton Parr embarked on a major renovation project which would preserve the historic character and details of the house but welcome a more modern kitchen, attic space, and a new back patio to rival the welcoming charm of the front patio.
