The Troutdale House by the Sandy River is a popular vintage and rustic style wedding venue located in downtown Troutdale Oregon. It is just minutes from I-84 and it is easily accessible for your guests, but is tucked away so you feel like you are in a world that is all your own. The three story building is spacious but cozy and can accomodate small intimate ceremonies as well as large, lavish receptions. Your guests can watch your ceremony in one of our seven (7) ceremony locations, with plenty of indoor and outdoor options available. The Troutdale House allows freedom and flexibility by offering each client ten (10) hours of event time as well as allowing an open vendor policy at no extra charge.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples can accommodate up to 200 guests at this gorgeous venue. With four (4) outdoor locations available, you can exchange your vows in the Wisteria Courtyard which features a beautiful wooden trellis and an expansive wisteria plant that covers the entirety of the Courtyard and blooms with purple and white flowers in April/May. There is now a permanent cover over the Wisteria Courtyard that will allow for couples' to use the area year round, even during Oregon's rainy season. The cover is clear and lets in plenty of natural light, so your photos will always look fantastic. We also have Bridal Park, which is shaded and covered by mature trees and surrounded by arborvitae bushes, making it feel like your own private spot in the forest. Bridal Park gives two (2) ceremony spot options where you can either choose to exchange vows in front of vintage style doors or under a beautiful metal arch. The Rustic Lodge is the newest outside addition and features a lodge style setting with a gas fireplace, overhead heaters and a covered roof. This allows for intimate ceremonies, even on some of Oregon's wettest days.

Indoor celebrations can choose between the main floor of the building, the Enchanted Ballroom which features spacious 11 foot ceilings, multiple crystal chandeliers and enough room for up to 200 guests. The downstairs Wine Cellar features brick walls with wine barrels, giving you that fresh from the vineyard feeling. On the opposite side of the Wine Cellar is the Victorian Room that is perfect for those small intimate ceremonies.

Other Facilities

This spectacular venue offers two (2) seperate dressing rooms for the bridal party. The spacious Bridal room encompasses the entire top floor and features several stations for make-up and hair. The walls are lined with full length mirrors so you can make sure you are spot-on for this extraordinary day. The downstairs Groom's room offers space to change and relax prior to ceremony time. When you are done getting ready downstairs, you can play in the game room which features a pool table, foosball table and air hockey table. When you are done playing games, you can peruse the artwork and antiques or have your picture taken in the 1950 Cadillac that serves as a photobooth for you and your guests.

Don't forget our kitchen which boasts an industrial size stove-top, burners and oven as well as an industrial size refrigerator. Your caterer can cook/prep in our kitchen or just use it as a home base to serve from. Don’t have a caterer? No problem! Your friend’s and family are welcome to use our facilities as needed on your wedding day.
