About

With a panoramic view of Hilo Bay, the Wainaku Center is the ideal location for your dream wedding or special celebration. The manicured grounds are framed with royal palms and swaying coconut trees overlooking serene Hilo Bay. A convenient property located less than a mile north of downtown Hilo along the historic Hamakua coastline and minutes from Hilo International Airport. The Wainaku Center was once the Hilo Sugar Mill and renovated into the home office for C. Brewer & Company. In September 2012, the Edmund C. Olson Trust acquired the two-story, 12,000 square foot building. The property encompasses the 12 acre surrounding property.

Very Professional Service

There aren’t enough words to express our appreciation. My daughter’s wedding ceremony was so beautiful. It was a pleasure to work with the wonderful staff, especially Donna at the Wainaku Executive Center. She was so accommodating and she made the day so special.

Julie and Donna were amazing to work with. They both were so accommodating, flexible and reliable. They kept me updated & were always available to answer my questions and set-up meetings. On my wedding day, all the chairs were set-up, tables set-up and everything went perfectly.
