Facilities and Capacity
The Whitman Mansion on Forsyth park is located at the south end of Savannah's historic district, built in 1895, this elegant victorian mansion welcomes wedding parties with 6 luxurious bedrooms, 5.5 baths, a media / game room, gourmet chef's kitchen and a number of great entertaining and gathering spaces.

The Whitman is an entire property rental with a three night minimum stay. This 5000 square foot mansion can accommodate 12 to 14 overnight guests, while allowing up to 60 event guests. Events have been held in the first floor parlors, on the veranda overlooking the park, and in the private courtyard.

The Whitman Mansion has its own award winning chef for the convenience of its guests, Bob Vardzel and his team can assist couples with, or take care of any detail to do with your wedding stay including referrals for florists, cake artists, photographers, musicians, and other vendors who can assist on making your wedding day a day to remember. The Whitmans full service catering team has hosted welcome functions, rehearsal dinners, bridesmaid luncheons, family and departure brunches, as well as ceremonies and receptions.

The Whitman supplies tables, chairs, linens, plateware, cutlery, glassware, serving items and any incidentals or rental items required.
