Prior to wedding planning, I spent many wonderful years raising my kids as a stay-at-home mom, where my focus was on making my children’s lives as fulfilling as possible. When my youngest went into kindergarten, I found time to pursue my passion for wedding planning. I started by working at local hotels and country clubs learning leadership and customer service skills while working beside many accomplished wedding planners. In 2008, after becoming a Certified Wedding Planner with the Association of Bridal Consultants, I decided to pursue my dream of owning my own wedding planning business. So, TSWP was born and I never looked back.
Other than my passion for wedding planning, I love spending time with my husband, kids and gal-pals! I find pleasure kayaking on the Severn River, boating on the Chesapeake Bay and hiking the Appalachian Trail. I enjoy eating at waterfront restaurants and having dessert first! But on a cold crisp winter day, I love reading books by my favorite author Kristin Hannah while sipping on a cup of hot chocolate, wrapped in my cozy blanket.
