Villa Ivana is a historic wedding venue located in Cortona, Italy. This charming historical residence was constructed back in 1600. As the years passed, it became in great need of renovations to restore it back to its former Italian villa glory. The Vanni family stepped in and construction began on the villa, which ended up lasting two years. Following the detailed work of the architects and interior designers, the Vanni family opened the villa’s doors so that people could gather and enjoy all kinds of special events ranging from fashion shows to cultural events. In this stunning site surrounded by scenic Tuscan backdrops, couples and their loved ones can also gather for their wedding ceremony and reception.
Facilities and Capacity
In all, the Villa Ivana features a total of 1,000 square meters of space for couples to use on their big day. The interior of the villa is truly awe-inspiring with its vaulted ceilings, frescoed walls, arches, and scenic views. There is a living room area that couples can use, as well as elegant Salons, which overlook the gardens. Inside, couples will have enough space to enjoy their ceremony and reception with up to 400 of their loved ones. There is even a private chapel available on the property for couples interested in a more traditional wedding. If you would like to exchange your vows amongst the Tuscan hills, you can use one of the outdoor garden or gazebo sites. There is also an outdoor dining area complete with marble tables and chairs ideal for intimate gatherings. Regardless of the season, there is the perfect site waiting for you at Villa Ivana.
Services Offered
After your wedding ceremony and reception is over, you are more than welcome to extend your stay by requesting one of the available suites. Your guests can also extend their stay at the villa as well. The suites are all situated on the second and third floors and offer the same historic feel as the rest of the villa with plenty of modern conveniences.
Villa Ivana is a Private Villa, therefore, there will not be other Guests during your stay/wedding.

Amazing Wedding
When we actually arrived for our wedding weekend, we were astounded. The villa is beautiful! The layout allows you to have everything you need-picturesque ceremony under trees, intimate table arrangements, and a great dance floor. At the golden hour of sunset, you could not ask for better pictures than at the villa! Throughout the ceremony and reception, Alessandra and Federico once again made everything easy for us. By coordinating with the vendors, we were able to spend our time with the guests having an amazing time!
Because the venue is so spectacular, we just had to keep the party going with a pool party! It was once again made possible by the expansive villa and the help of Alessandra and Federico.
Our friends and families joke that no one else will be able to find a suitable venue now because ours was just too perfect! We could not rave enough about this place and its’ owners!
