Our farm was resurrected with a dream that came to life, built with so much love and great intention. A place for new beginnings and second chances. Lakota’s Farm is home to our amazing rescue horses, dogs, and cats. Here they live free-range as they were meant to.
Experience Lakota’s Farm beautifully restored Historic 1800’s multi-level event barn nestled between New York’s Hudson Valley and the scenic Adirondack Mountains.

We offer one of the most diverse and unique venues in the region. This lush countryside property spans 36 acres of pastoral vistas, teeming gardens, and a stream leading into two spring-fed ponds. The unmatched serenity is the ultimate wedding experience.

Kimberly Finney, a proud owner of Lakota's Farm Weddings & Events, began her life as a farmer's daughter, finding her passion for horses. After high school she joined the Army serving for 5 years, then shortly after her service, she made her way into the hospitality industry, where she had found her calling. Working tirelessly to build her career she found herself still wanting more. Resulting in her journey to start her own wedding venue. With her husband, Alan by her side they toured property after property searching for the perfect fit. In 2015 at the edge of a small town she had finally found the perfect place. After a total restoration of the entire property, Lakota's Farm was established. Today, Kim enjoys her time caring for their rescue animals as well as making couple's dreams come true.
Paige has been part of the Lakotas team for some years now, covering all bases from the venue and grounds care to event management. She keeps her pup Luna by her side every step of the way.
Started her earlier years down a path of nursing, realizing it wasn't the perfect fit for her needs she found Lakota's. Eager to learn every aspect of the industry and further herself to become the best she can be.

I have had the pleasure working at The Wedding Barn at Lakota's Farm this past wedding season. It is an extremely professionally run venue. They have staff on hand to handle any questions the guests may have when arriving on site as well as throughout the event. The owners were on hand and present for the entire event. The staff they had was professional and worked wonderfully with us. It will be our pleasure to work with this venue in the future.
