Weingarten Vineyard is a premier vineyard wedding venue located in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri. The vineyard, which also features the Garten Haus Restaurant, is owned by Randy and Connie who bought the property in 2003 and opened Weingarten Vineyard to the public in May 2011. The venue has an array of ceremony and reception options available for gatherings small and large.

Facilities and Capacity

Weingarten Vineyard’s Riesling Reception Hall is a spacious and inviting space which can accommodate up to 300 people. The hall features an impressive stone fireplace, arched wood ceiling, and adjoining covered patio with spectacular views of the vineyard. The covered patio is also available as an outdoor ceremony location. The Saison room with its deep, rich tones and refined atmosphere features an upper-level glass enclosed balcony and can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests. For smaller intimate gatherings, the Chambourcin Room with its southern facing private deck can fit up to 50 people. The room has a stunning view overlooking the vineyard and offers a variety of set up options.

History

Randy and Connie purchased the acreage surrounding the tasting room and vineyards in 2003. They started to plant grapes in 2004, and by the end of the year had five acres of Nortons. Over the next four years, they did all they could to increase their knowledge of grapes while they enjoyed the property with their family and friends. In 2009 they officially formed Weingarten Vineyard, breaking ground on their new adventure and expanding their vineyards planting more grapes, raspberries, blackberries, plums, and lavender. With the help and support of their friends and family, Randy and Connie were thrilled to open their doors to the public in May 2011.
