If you want an Authentic Rustic Barn Wedding come to Wooden Wheel Vineyards. It is the perfect place to celebrate your big life moments while enjoying a glass of fine wine among friends and family. This 1860's renovated barn is a unique and charming setting in the Iowa countryside. Plan a beautiful event in this rustic venue and enjoy the scenic views of the vineyard as you dance the night away with your loved ones.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples can celebrate their special day with all their loved ones in this space; Wooden Wheel Vineyards can accommodate up to 300 inside the covered barn, or up to 500 in their uncovered outdoor area. A magical stone fireplace will set a romantic mood for all to enjoy, and rustic wooden features will set the tone for a country-style wedding. For a unique touch before or after your wedding, couples can plan a tour of the winery and vineyard or schedule a wine tasting with their experts, who will show guests proper wine tasting techniques.

Services Offered
All of your festivities can be celebrated in this beautiful space, whether you’re planning your engagement party, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, or reception. This venue accommodates outside vendors, and their staff can assist with event rentals and even provide light and sound equipment. This venue also provides an in-house bar complete with bartenders who can serve house and specialty wine and beer, craft a signature cocktail, or set up a champagne toast. Talking with the gentleman that responded to us was a pleasant experience. Way better then I expected a venue to be with our limited budget.

Very well with responding and answering questions. I actually lost their email for 3 months and they still treated me kindly. Very beautiful place.

Highly recommend for a wedding venue!

I got married at this venue in June of 2021. I was looking to find a rustic, barn venue and this was the perfect place for that and more with their beautiful vineyard. This venue was amazing and I highly recommend! The owners and staff were extremely helpful and personable in their help and answering questions while I was planning the wedding, along with on the wedding day. They worked with our changes before and on our wedding day without extra charge. They made themselves available to us and were present during our setting up and wedding day. This was the perfect venue, as it is so beautiful, spacious, and accommodating inside the building and on the property. Our guests loved the bar and the alcohol that was available. The wine is amazing! It was so helpful that they have the room upstairs to get ready the day of. My family and I are so appreciative for the opportunity to have our beautiful wedding here! I would do it all over again if I could. Thank you for helping me have my dream wedding and for giving my family, guests, bridal party, and I such an enjoyable experience!

They’re only nice to “paying customers”

I recently had my wedding at Wooden Wheel Vineyards, and it is a beautiful venue. Everything looked beautiful on my wedding day. However, I would not give it 5 stars. Mostly because we paid to set up the day before, but the owners weren’t available to help us/answer our questions. When my husband tried to ask for help, he told that she was helping “paying customers.” He was told this twice before he finally said that he was paying a lot more than the other customers, and she finally figured out that he was the groom and apologized. Not only should you not treat the groom this way, especially when we’re paying to set up, you shouldn’t treat anybody this way who was here for our wedding. If we are paying to use the venue then I expect everyone with us to be treated kindly. Nobody treated me that way, because they knew I was the bride, but I heard that other people were. The day of our wedding, the groomsman went into the tasting room for a few minutes because my bridesmaids and I were taking pictures and we didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony. Apparently, the groomsmen and my husband were again told it was for paying customers only (as if we aren’t paying customers). Another reason why I wouldn’t give this venue 5 stars is because the owners simply didn’t go above and beyond. Usually a venue with alcohol provides complimentary champagne to the bride and groom. When I asked, I was told they wouldn’t provide it. This is fine, I guess, but if you want to receive a 5 star review I feel like you have to go above and beyond. Not only did Wooden Wheel not go above and beyond; they didn’t meet my expectations for how people a part of the wedding should be treated. I would not recommend if you are looking for a venue with good customer service.
