We have been in existence for almost 20 years ago when we started playing for Mario Donate Productions (Famous Muppets creator in PR) in "comparsas". Since this moment, we have participated in multiple important social events like weddings, festivals, etc.

The life of the party!

When we decided to do a second grand entrance, we knew immediately that Yuvi Plena were exactly the way to do it. We hired their package with the stilt walkers and the "cabezudos" and our guests that flew in from New Jersey were absolutely FLOORED. It was an INCREDIBLE way to start the party and it set the mood for the rest of the night. Incredible, 100000/10 would recommend.

Such a Special Experience!

We had our ceremony at Catedral Basilica Menor de San Juan Bautista and our reception across the street at Hotel El Convento. We had a planeros band from Yuvi Plena surprise all of our guests outside of the Catedral. They danced and sang outside the church before leading everyone into cocktail hour. We had so many guests remark how cool and special this experience was! It really set the tone for our wedding night and is one of our most cherished moments of the day.

Perfect for Puerto Rican Weddings

My abuelita hired Yuvi Plena as a surprise for our wedding day and we were BLOWN away by the performance. It was the perfect add to the day as many of our guests were new to Puerto Rican culture. It gave everyone a great taste of local culture and a great excuse to dance. Additionally, it filled our band's set break perfectly. If you want to keep your guests on the dance floor while your band takes a break, Yuvi Plena is a MUST.
