Walt Disney World Honeymoon

There are endless attractions for every couple to enjoy during a Disney World honeymoon. You can enjoy the classic theme park rides at the Magic Kingdom or spend a day viewing exotic animals and exploring nature at Animal Kingdom Park. Time travel to the future in Epcot, and then be a part of your favorite shows at Hollywood Studios. If you’re a couple who likes to go out, Orlando is known for its nightlife and Downtown Disney offers a variety of places to enjoy. There are a lot of different park and hotel options to accommodate every budget, which means a Disney honeymoon can be very affordable. Whether you explore one park or them all, you will enjoy every second of this roller coaster ride of a honeymoon.

Here are our top tips for making the most out of your Disney World honeymoon.

When to Go

Disney World is popular all year long, but crowds tend to decrease and the weather is cooler during the winter from January to March. Summer is very crowded and the weather is very hot and humid, with daily storms—probably not the best time for your Disney World honeymoon.

Top Sights and Activities

  • Animal Kingdom: View exotic animals and Asian and African landscapes.
  • Disney Water Parks: Enjoy waterslides (closed during winter).
  • Epcot: Explore Walt Disney’s imagined futuristic city during your Disney World honeymoon.
  • Magic Kingdom: Full of fun rides, unique shops and delicious restaurants.
  • Hollywood Studios: View shows and ride attractions.
  • Hidden Mickeys: Find all the hidden Mickey Mouse’s all around the parks.
  • Downtown Disney: During your Disney honeymoon, walk around this plaza filled with restaurants, shops, and attractions.
  • Cirque de Soleil: Watch a very unique acrobatic show.
  • DisneyQuest: Explore this five level video arcade.

Anyone planning on going to Walt Disney World for their honeymoons? We are going a week after our wedding and I am trying to make sure we covered all experiences and activities to do.
