  A Day to Remember is the best!

  Vicki Martin of A Day to Remember wedding planning is absolutely wonderful. Our venue required us to find a day-of coordinator. As we started looking, Vicki explained the benefit of month-of coordination instead and I am SO GLAD we opted for that! A month out, she followed up with every single one of our vendors, communicated a daily schedule with all of our wedding party, and answered every single question we had along the way. Vicki responds within minutes usually, and was always patient with explaining everything and offering advice. Everyone - our vendors, our family, our wedding party, and even our guests - came away happily impressed with her work.

  The best decision I made!

  Vicki made my life so easy before my wedding. I’m very organized and wasn’t sure that I’d need the extra help, but I’m so thankful I had Vicki with me. She took care of creating my day of time line and contacting all of my vendors the week of my wedding to confirm everything. I can’t imagine all the emails and phone calls she handled for me! I was able to spend that time with my family who flew in for my big day. She contacted all our wedding party with a timeline, she created, to make sure everyone was where they needed to be at the correct time. Vicki took control of making sure the event space was decorated exactly the way I wanted it to look. She collected all of our gifts and had them organized to be taken home. The day of my wedding went so smooth. If there were any issues I’m still not aware. Vicki relieved so much stress in the planning process. I recommend her to any bride who wants to be able to relax during the wedding preparations.

  Hire Vicki and enjoy your wedding!

  We hired Vicki to help coordinate our wedding in Pescadero this past September. She was wonderfully helpful throughout the entire process - sending monthly checklists, confirming vendors, offering advice, and keeping everything organized. She made us feel completely relaxed on the day and we were truly able to enjoy the wedding knowing we were in good hands. If you're looking for a very capable coordinator to take the stress out of your big day, Vicki is your woman!

  wonderful wedding experience

  Wonderful Wedding Planner

  We really like the flexible structure of Vicki's packaging as well as the reasonable pricing. We primarily hired her for the month of the wedding and the wedding day but also wanted some consultation during the year of planning. She went so far beyond this helping us find two of our vendors, sending us ToDo lists throughout the year, going to vendor visits, and generally being a sounding board for us. She was instrumental during the month of the wedding calling vendors to confirm details and keeping us on track. We can't say enough about her support on the wedding day. She transported all the decor items to the wedding, brought a few things we forgot, and generally allowed everyone to have a fun and relaxing time! She is professional, friendly, and authoritative without being bossy. Our guests even noticed how she was effectively managing things on the wedding day.
  We highly recommend her!

  Amazing!!!

  Vicki was an amazing wedding planner. From start to finish, she made me and my husband feel so comfortable and at ease on our big day. Any questions we had leading up, she answered quickly and efficiently. She made the wedding day run smoothly, and she worked really well with the other vendors. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a wedding planner :)

  I cannot say enough about Vicki Martin and A Day to Remember. I worked with ADTR for over a year planning my wedding and I must say, the vision I had for my wedding was so well executed by Vicki, all the while with a smile on her face! She was flexible about coordination, helpful with questions to vendors, and overall, a wonderful person to turn to first on my special day(s). Vicki tried something new and different with my big South Asian wedding and did so with confidence - I highly recommend A Day to Remember and Vicki Martin for planning and coordination needs. I surely will continue referring her to all my family and friends!

  As an Event Coordinator at a Venue, I've worked with a lot of Planners and Vicki is one of the best. Her attention to detail and responsiveness are beyond compare. We recently did a wedding together and she was a dream to work with. I look forward to working with Vicki again in the near future!

She is a very creative person and someone you can trust to make sure every little detail will be just right! The day of my wedding I didn't have to respond to a single text from a vendor because Vicki was working directly with them and the timeline. My husband and I had our dream wedding and Vicki brought our vision to life. If you're looking for a professional, organized and friendly wedding planner then Vicki from A Day to Remember is the person for you!

  I used Vicki to help plan my daughter's Baby Shower. While I had my own ideas in place, Vicki came in and offered some of her own ideas to continue the elegant theme we had in place. Vicki made beautiful centerpieces and fun favors that everyone enjoyed. She helped to find me a caterer and all the linens. The day of the event she came and helped with all the set-up. Our venue looked beautiful and everyone had a wonderful time. I had many guests that commented on how elegant and fun our shower was and my daughter couldn't thank me enough. I definitely will use Vicki again in the future and HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for any event, large or small.

  Vicki at A Day To Remember is absolutely incredible! I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding, shower or event! Vicki planned every detail of my Baby Shower this past September and it literally blew me away. The whole process of planning with Vicki was so much fun an so professional and organized. After one meeting she blew me away with how well she understood my vision and was able to really capture it and even more than I could have imagined. I didn't have to lift a finger, she did absolutely everything and let me just enjoy the process and day of with all of my friends and family. The details of my shower were so gorgeous from the popcorn stand, to the Baby's Mimosa Bar to the Recipe Cards for "New Mom's" to my elephant themed desert table, it was the most gorgeous event I've ever seen. All of my friends were asking me for Vicki's information and wanting to use her as well for their future events.   Vicki at A Day To Remember is absolutely incredible! I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding, shower or event! Vicki planned every detail of my Baby Shower this past September and it literally blew me away. The whole process of planning with Vicki was so much fun an so professional and organized. After one meeting she blew me away with how well she understood my vision and was able to really capture it and even more than I could have imagined. I didn't have to lift a finger, she did absolutely everything and let me just enjoy the process and day of with all of my friends and family. The details of my shower were so gorgeous from the popcorn stand, to the Baby's Mimosa Bar to the Recipe Cards for "New Mom's" to my elephant themed desert table, it was the most gorgeous event I've ever seen. All of my friends were asking me for Vicki's information and wanting to use her as well for their future events.   As Event Managers and onsite coordinators at the University Club of Palo Alto, our
  clients occasionally hire outside event coordinators as well.
  In this industry, we come across quite the array of planner personalities
  that we unfortunately have said we “must deal with” rather than “work with,” but
  wour first experience with Vicki launched her into a new realm of select vendors
  that we can’t wait to work with again and again!

  My daughter picked this planner and I never liked her, but she was determined to have a planner and I thought it was a waste of money as we could work more with the event planner at the venue...I was totally right....The event planner did most of the work and my daughter and I hired the photographer, videographer, a DJ, ice scuplture and the flowers....We even decorated ourselves....the only thing she did was organize the day of the ceremony. Save your mony or spend a lot more and get someone who does most everything>>>>>ps ...the pics she posts are all of her family weddings and parties she did....

  I'm sorry you feel that way Charlene. I very much enjoyed working with your daughter and groom on their wedding details 6 weeks before the wedding as I was hired as a "Month-Of" Coordinator. The bride was very hands on with all the planning prior to that time. Additionally, I came in the day before to help decorate and cleaned up all ceremony and reception decor after the event which was not actually contracted for. Jane, the venue coordinator and I worked very well together to assure a smooth running ceremony and reception for your daughter and new son-in-law. I wish them nothing but happiness.
