My husband and I have nothing but amazing things to say about A Kings Lodge. Erin and her husband David were so insanely helpful to us during the planning process considering we are from NJ. They made it so easy for us to just show up and get married! The lodge itself is stunning and PERFECT if you want a cabin with amazing views without having to drive up those winding mountain roads. They are so affordable especially for the quality and comfort you are getting! The lodge easily held us and our family and friends for the 3 days we had rented it. The only “negative” thing I can think of is that there isn’t much of a weather plan. It was insanely cold the day of our wedding and as soon as the sun went down we had to move it inside. We had about 30 guests so there was still plenty of room for dancing and fun! That being said, I wouldn’t change it for the world! If you are thinking of booking, DO IT. -

We held our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception at A King's Lodge and I am beyond happy that we did. The owners, Erin and David were so wonderful and responsive. We are so thankful to them for everything they did to make our experience there special. First of all, the lodge itself is gorgeous. We had everything we needed there. The decor is lovely, homey and cozy. The views surrounding the lodge are incredible. Our Smoky Mountain Wedding dreams really came true!
Originally we booked with them in 2019 for a 2020 wedding but we had to delay everything one year. Erin and David made the process so easy. Erin answered any and every question/concern I could come up with leading up to the wedding. She helped me out many times and I'm so grateful for that. The weekend truly went off without a hitch. On the way home my family was already asking if we would want to book with A King's Lodge for another vacation. Obviously the answer was yes!

Highly recommend!!
We booked this lodge for our wedding over a year in advance. Erin and David were so great and so attentive making sure we had everything we needed! They let us come check out the property before to make sure we loved everything and had everything we wanted!
The lodge itself was more than we could have hoped for! They take so much time in their decorating to make you feel like you are really on a mountain vacation. There was plenty of room for all of our guests who were staying there and the extra bathroom for the wedding guests was perfect!
We even ended up booking their smaller cabin across the way and that was absolutely stunning. The amount of detail and time spent on the cabin really shows! We cannot wait to come back to both of the properties again to be able to enjoy them a little more without planning a wedding.
Overall, this was the best experience we could have ever hoped for and we cannot wait to go back!A Kings Lodge's reply:

Words can’t describe how absolutely perfect our day was! I have never felt so at peace. From the perfect venue to the perfect hosts! We literally worried about nothing! David and Erin helped my Pinterest board come alive!
We had a late afternoon wedding that went into a beautiful evening reception. We had about 100 friends and family that attended and all were impressed with the stunning beauty that is A King’s Lodge. It’s setting is breathtaking.
Those of us that stayed on the property all felt like we were home. My deepest gratitude to the Reddell family for making our day so completely perfect! There is nothing I would’ve changed! ❤️ -

The Reddell family is an absolutely amazing family and their lodge and property is just as beautiful! If you want room to enjoy family and friends, things to do, a breathtaking view of the mountains, comfy clean place to stay. Then look no further! We had everything we needed and then some! With COVID and hurricanes all going on around our wedding the owners did everything to calm our anxiety and make our wedding day an absolute dream come true and beyond that. -

Wedding and Family Vacation
Erin and David were amazing hosts! The communication was amazing. The place the clean and obviously beautiful. The posted pictures do not do the property justice. Across the street is their ranch, were the family welcomed us to ride and visit with the animals. The wedding package was perfect! The beat part, you don’t have to do all the clean up! We can’t wait to return for another family stay. -

A beautiful venue
I don’t even know where to begin! I had my wedding at A Kings Lodge in August and it was even better than I ever could have imagined. The pictures don’t do this place justice! The house is beautiful and so well kept. It was large enough to hold most of our wedding guests without feeling crowded. The back yard is so lovely with plenty of room to run around. We loved having the fire pit to gather around in the evenings. And the covered area in the back was perfect for our wedding. David was so helpful in answering our questions and even provided the tables, linens, and chairs which made setting up so quick and easy once we got there. They made sure that we didn’t stress about trying to clean up everything afterwards and were so gracious with helping to make sure we enjoyed our time! My only wish is that we had been able to stay longer! It truly was a perfect wedding weekend for us. So happy we found this place! -

Super helpful
We got married at A Kings Lodge and could not have been more happy. 11 guests and the bride and groom stayed at the house for a few days before and after. The lodge was a fabulous place to stay and accommodated all of us quite well. The wedding … despite the rain… couldn’t have been any better. Our guests had a great time, and everyone commented on how beautiful the site was. I highly recommend A Kings Lodge for any event, especially a wedding. -

Meghan Sent on 05/21/2018LGBT friendly! On AirBnb this is listed as A King's Lodge, but it is on a huge ranch with horses and other farm animals right across the street. The family is a superhost and there is a $1,500 wedding fee. However, this was hands down the most amazing venue we could have picked. Surrounded by mountains, the ranch sits on 7 acres of land- all of which is open for the guests to use. Additionally, the hosts brought a horse over for our photos, and let us visit their newborn pony as well as baby chicks. With the wedding fee, you get a beautiful new pavilion (no tent required!), whiskey barrels, and drink troughs. They provide beautiful lighting and are incredibly accommodating to your individual needs. Our wedding was perfect.
