  Lina is the best!

  Lina is incredible - she and her team are super professional, extremely organized, and executed a marvelous wedding that my guests are still talking about. Most importantly, she is SO CALM!! You can tell that Lina has years and years of experience which is so important when hosting a large scale event. I was a Covid bride so Lina helped me work through an entire venue change, trying to find a new venue, and all the tears/stress that happened in between. Needless to say, we did it and it was an epic night. I can’t say enough good things about Lina and her team - they will absolutely make your event run smoothly so you can fully enjoy and take in the entire day. Thank you Lina for being the best in the biz! I trust her implicitly.

  My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and had hired Lina for some planning prior and the day of coordination...and the day was PERFECT!
  
  Lina and her team are absolute rockstars and made the wedding planning process and day of SO easy and stress-free. They were on top of everything and handled all the details so that I didn't have to worry about anything. I could not have imagined my day going anywhere nearly as smooth as it did without her handling all the various vendors and giving me all the deadlines for everything.
  
  Lina is a gem - both as a planner and a person - and I highly recommend hiring her if you're looking to make your planning/wedding day stress-free and 100% enjoyable!

  My wedding was absolutely perfect, due in large part to the team at A Stunning Affair. My husband and I have extremely busy schedules and had little time to devote to planning our wedding, so having Lina from A Stunning Affair helped make the process much easier. We no longer had to communicate as frequently with so many different vendors, and she would ask us questions about things we hadn't even thought about. She is very thorough. Also, when we had a million random questions, we always got a quick, professional response with excellent recommendations, advice and guidance. While we only met in person three times before the rehearsal dinner and big day, we were in constant communication. She would capture all of our scattered requests and send updated timelines to us and the vendors. On the actual day, I couldn't have asked for more. I had a "personal assistant" from A Stunning Affair who knew what I needed before I needed it. She would bring me water, fix my hair, reapply lipstick and hold my flowers. The day was flawless and all I had to do was be excited, get married and celebrate with family and friends. Lina did an incredible job making sure this is a day we will never forget!

  Lina is simply amazing. When we began down the path of planning our wedding, neither of us had any idea how much work was involved. Lina provided us not only great guidance, but also incredible advice on many aspects of our big day. She helped us with major decisions, as well as minor details, to ensure that everything was executed based on our vision for the day.   Lina is incredible. She is very experienced in wedding planning and brought to our attention so many details that we did not think of on our own. Prior to our wedding, she met with us several times and each meeting was beyond productive. She fashioned timelines for us, gave us templates to work off of, got in touch with vendors for random things we ended up needing (like outdoor twinkly lights, neon signs and high chairs), checked in with each of our vendors, advised us on appropriate etiquette for things like making escort cards, proofread our invitations... it's endless the amount of things Lina did for us prior to the wedding. Even more impressive was her ability to pull off everything we wanted on the day of. It was probably the hottest day of the year in LA, but Lina brought a trustworthy pair of assistants with her and they were spectacular. I gave Lina 6 boxes of decorations the day before and she unpacked everything flawlessly. The entire place looked amazing. At the end of the night, she meticulously repacked everything into my aunt's car. While she and one of her assistants handled the entire venue and guests, she had another assistant helping me and my bridal party get ready. Everything went according to plan and I have Lina and her team to thank. Lina is truly a gem. I've heard countless stories from friends where they've told me that their day-of coordinator didn't do a whole lot for them. Lina is the opposite.   Lina and her team gave me my dream wedding! And planning it wasn't nearly as painful (at least for me) as it could have been.
  
  Like the brides that have reviewed before me, I cannot begin to say enough about what Lina did (and put up with) to help bring my vision for my (whoops! our) wedding to fruition. She was extremely communicative and ridiculously flexible. I was in the middle of a trial for much of the time we were planning the wedding, and Lina was willing to meet with me at my office, or late evenings at my home.
  
  This may sound weird, but throughout the planning process, Lina also felt like a good friend. It's important to have someone that can help you brainstorm, make recommendations, and reel you in when you've gotten a little too creative, or are in danger of going well over budget. Lina was that person for me. She helped me narrow down my ideas for our invitation suite, and made sure every detail of the wedding (there were A LOT) tied into our theme.
  
  She recommended vendors that were energetic, professional, and excited to work on a colorful wedding. She helped corral those vendors that I insisted on finding myself, and helped me find one-stop shops when I wanted to make things difficult for us both. She even procured 100 gold chargers from another bride (cheaply) for my tablescape. From the very beginning she shared my vision, and was sufficiently organized to keep me on task. I relied heavily on the documents she created for me -- the day of check list was essential! As a type-A, Capricorn, lawyer-type, it's rare that I can say that I completely trust another person to get things done. I trusted Lina.
  More important than anything I've mentioned previously, was Lina's team's ability to execute on our wedding day. There were a ton of little details and moving pieces in our wedding, cocktail hour, and reception, and each was executed perfectly. I am eternally grateful!

  Lina was so amazing to work with for our wedding this past May. I found Lina after reading such great reviews about her, and I knew I needed her to help me plan and coordinate our wedding. She is super organized, responsive and gives great advice about anything you need to ask her about. It was nice to bounce ideas off of her and get her opinion. She has tons of experience and will help you find all of your vendors and works hard to keep everyone on the same page--which was a huge help to me not having to reach out to vendors during the planning process. I'm a lawyer and have a very hectic schedule, and Lina made the planning process so much easier. If you are a control freak like me who obsesses about everything, you are in good hands because Lina is very detailed oriented and will put you at ease. On the day of, everything was handled beautifully by Lina and her team. We got tons of compliments on our wedding--from all the little details, to the flowers, music, food, etc. I didnt have to worry about anything on our big day--Lina handled any hiccup and knows how to not bother the birde or groom with questions (she went to my sister, the MOH, with any questions or issues--all minor little things). I can't recommend Lina enough--you will not be disappointed. She also does a great job of keeping family members and bridal party on schedule, which was super helpful and made our families feel as though they didnt need to worry about anything. I found her pricing for coordination and planning to be totally reasonable and she is worth every penny, given the amount of work she does. I loved that there were no limits to the amount of emails or phone calls I could have with her and she was flexilbe in terms of our in person meetings.

  I cannot tell you how thrilled I was with Lina Wallace from A Stunning Affair. I am a very organized and thorough person. I was not even sure I needed a wedding coordinator. Boy was I wrong! We had a very large wedding at the Bel-Air Bay Club. Because of Lina on my daughters wedding day everything went smoothly and I was completely stress free knowing Lina was in control. From the very beginning in planning this wedding Lina proved an enormous asset. She was my right arm through the long planning process. Her attention to detail and her wedding knowledge was invaluable. She coordinated all our vendors, wedding day schedule, rehearsal, etc. Everyone said I could not expect a perfect wedding. They were wrong. I hired Lina Wallace from A Stunning Affair and with her tremendous help we pulled off a perfect wedding. One last thing. I hired Lina orginally thinking I would only need her and her team on the day of the wedding. What I got was so much more. We met several times, emailed back and forth constantly and she coordinated the wedding rehearsal. Without her there we would not have had a clue as to what to do. Again I cannot say enough about Lina Wallace. Except, hire her and you will be thrilled with the results.

  There is literally no praise high enough for the amazingly talented, super organized, wonderfully relaxed wedding coordinator Lina Wallace! Lina is sensational in every way, and you can tell that she absolutely loves what she does. It’s not just a job to her, she truly loves to help you and your fiancé make your wedding visions and dreams come true. Even if your venue has a coordinator, remember that at the end of the day, they work for the venue and that’s who they’re representing – but Lina is there for YOU, and her commitment to helping make this the best day of your life just radiates from her in everything she does. It was a beautiful, spectacular day, and it was in large part thanks to Lina and how beautifully she orchestrated the whole thing! We seriously had the BEST time at our wedding!!
  
  Lina has the amazing ability of being organized, super detail oriented, and on top of everything, WHILE at the same time being really calm, thoughtful, and graceful. It’s difficult to strike a balance between those two mindsets, but that’s just who Lina is. I feel like there’s nothing she hasn’t seen (but she’s too modest to ever brag about it lol), no task too small or large, no question too silly, or item too small to consider. The amount of thought and consideration she brings to the planning process is just astounding, and she always responded to my questions with warmth, professionalism, and genuine friendliness. AND she brings her amazing ASA team with her on the day of the wedding, and assigns one of the team members to you, the bride, to be there for you for whatever you may need throughout the day. Joy was my helper that day, and she, like Lina, was delightful! I was literally in awe of her, and Lina’s whole team.
  
  My sister also just hired Lina to help plan her wedding next year, and we couldn’t be more EXCITED that we get to work with Lina again! Quit looking – Lina’s your gal :)

  Throughout the year and a half I had for planning, Lina was my rock.   Lina Wallace was the BEST wedding planner a bride could ask for. Aside from being professional and honest, she was reliable and made the biggest day of my life run smoothly without any complications. My husband and I spent a full year planning our wedding with Lina and throughout the whole process she was so easy to work with and provided us with amazing ideas and wonderful vendors whom she has great relationships with!   I could not have asked for a better wedding planner. Lina was amazing. She made my wedding day a dream come true. There was not one point during my wedding that I worried about anything. She handled it all with her great staff. It was almost like she had a solution for everything...there was a point when my feet hurt and she had her staff run out to get me comfy sandals to dance with and when my dress ripped slightly because someone stepped on it, she had my safety-pinned and fixed up in minutes. Leading up to the wedding, Lina spent a lot of time planning and making sure we had everything finalized down to the smallest details. Her vendor recommendations were all superb. There were so many things I would not even have thought about or been aware of had it not been for her. She created organized calendars and to-do lists and was always responsive. She always made time to accommodate my busy schedule and made my wedding planning process as de-stressful as possible. Many guests came up to me after my wedding to ask about my wedding planner and noted that they had never seen a wedding that went so smoothly and was so beautifully done. Lina made my dream wedding come true and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

  We had the pleasure of working with Lina at A Stunning Affair to plan our September 2012 wedding, and she was, in a word, incredible. Throughout our 18-month engagement/wedding planning process, we would marvel at something Lina had done for us by turning to each other and saying, "best decision we ever made." Not just during the planning, but all through the wedding day, back at the hotel after the reception, the next morning on the way to the airport, on the beaches of Mexico, and back home again. We just can't stop talking about her and the amazing job she did for us--or wondering how on earth we would have pulled it off without her.
  
  Our chemistry with Lina was amazing right off the bat, from our very first consultation; not only did she instantly put us at ease with her friendly, easygoing demeanor, she always listened to our ideas, requests and concerns without making us feel like we were asking for the moon, and she always assured us that we'd get it exactly right on the big day. I truly felt like we were working with a trusted friend.
  
  Lina kept us on track throughout the wedding planning process, making sure we were taking care of the details as we went along, and never letting us get bogged down by the massive to-do list. She made us calendars, sent us reminders, talked us through anything that was confusing, and most importantly, on the day of the wedding, she was on top of every last detail. It was like she was everywhere at once, thanks to a fierce set of walkie-talkies and some fantastic assistants: Stephanie, Arlene, Sam and Joy were all smiles, all night. And I was especially grateful for my "lady in waiting" Brittany, assigned to stay by my side and take care of anything I might need. We were able to focus on the beauty of the ceremony and the Awesomeness of the Best Party Ever because we were in such good hands.

Had I known in advance what planning a wedding really entails I would not have hesitated about hiring a coordinator. My one word of advice for brides and grooms...hire a coordinator!

  After contacting 10 wedding coordinators and meeting with 4, my mom and I knew right away that Lina would be the one to make the wedding a magical/stunning event!
  And that it was, my wedding felt like a fairytale to me, thanks to the wonderful guidance from Lina.
  What drew me to her most,was the fact that she listened and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted esthetically, as well as the intimate feeling I wanted to create with a guest count of 275 at saddlerock ranch. She showed me personal details that I would have never thought of, and links to multiple vendors on etsy so I could find the perfect "here comes the bride " sign. Ohh and her timeline, checklist, and referral list is worth gold! She answered all of my texts and emails probably at the same hour they were sent and calmed me whenever I started to panic over anything. Lina handles every situation with a smile and warmth in her voice. We had a situation where a cousin felt that my bridal party line up was not correctly set up. Instead of bringing me into the conversation, she took in everything the cousin had to say, and kindly answered that every wedding is different and that this was the manner in which the bride had chosen. This right away calmed the meddling cousin! Thank you Lina. She also helped me book 4 days before the wedding new violinists, since the ones I booked without her ended being unavailable!

  There are not enough little gold stars or a high enough ranking for Lina !!! She is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic !!! I am positive that Lina is the only reason I actually had a wedding at all, let alone, the wedding of my dreams. In short, GRAB LINA AND BOOK HER AS SOON AS YOU CAN !!! SHE'S FABULOUS !!!
  
  I'm an extremely busy corporate lawyer working insane hours, and my now husband is in finance -- also working a ton of hours. Therefore, Lina made herself available to meet with us late in the evening at the location most convenient for us (usually our home) -- even though it was hugely out of the way for her. Unfortunately for Lina, despite our total lack of time, we (and I mean we -- my husband too) wanted to make every single decision ourselves. To make matters worse, I am extremely detail-oriented, a total perfectionist, and I generally have to check out ALL the choices before making my decision. Plus the fact that my husband and I came from two very different cultures, had to have the entire event be kosher (plates, silverware, etc.,) and wanted the wedding in my parents' garden and the reception at a country club nearby. Oh, and we were expecting 350 guests. We only had ten months to do it in, and I think we ended up blowing every deadline Lina gave us by months (literally) and then, of course, had a number of calamities occurr the week before. In short, I don't know how Lina put up with us... and with a smile and a hug, to boot.
  
  Lina was absolutely unshakeable. She handled every challenge (of which there were many) impecably, solved every problem, was so professional and warm and friendly despite it all -- I really don't know how she did it. I deal with "challenging" clients all the time, but Lina's degree of professionalism was truly impressive.
  
  Most importantly, OUR WEDDING (May 29, 2011) ENDED UP BEING MAGNIFICENT. Everything was gorgeous - the flowers, the table settings, the programs, all perfectly arranged, all just coming together perfectly. The whole afternoon/evening literally went off without a hitch from beginning to end (which was miraculous considering) -- and Lina was the single, biggest reason why. She and her team somehow shepherded all 350 guests -- many of whom were from different cultures and didn't even speak fluent English! -- from area to area both at my parents' gardens and the country club, and they did it gracefully and politely all the while. The caterer, the florist, the band, the videographer, the photographers, the wedding party, the family, the "extended" family, the country club, the wait staff at my parents' home, the party rental people -- I don't know how, but she managed all of them.
  
  Whether you want her help with everything (highly recommend), or just at the final stages, I really can't recommend her enough. She found us our florist (also spectacular) and our photographer too (who turned out wonderfully), so her recommendations were also excellent. I interviewed five other wedding planners (all of whom had excellent reviews) but LINA really is THE BEST (and so, so sweet too), and is worth a million times whatever she charges.

  There are not enough little gold stars or a high enough ranking for Lina !!! She is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic !!! I am positive that Lina is the only reason I actually had a wedding at all, let alone, the wedding of my dreams. In short, GRAB LINA AND BOOK HER AS SOON AS YOU CAN !!! SHE'S FABULOUS !!!
  
  I'm an extremely busy corporate lawyer working insane hours, and my now husband is in finance -- also working a ton of hours. Therefore, Lina made herself available to meet with us late in the evening at the location most convenient for us (usually our home) -- even though it was hugely out of the way for her. Unfortunately for Lina, despite our total lack of time, we (and I mean we -- my husband too) wanted to make every single decision ourselves. To make matters worse, I am extremely detail-oriented, a total perfectionist, and I generally have to check out ALL the choices before making my decision. Plus the fact that my husband and I came from two very different cultures, had to have the entire event be kosher (plates, silverware, etc.,) and wanted the wedding in my parents' garden and the reception at a country club nearby. Oh, and we were expecting 350 guests. We only had ten months to do it in, and I think we ended up blowing every deadline Lina gave us by months (literally) and then, of course, had a number of calamities occurr the week before. In short, I don't know how Lina put up with us... and with a smile and a hug, to boot.
  
  Lina was absolutely unshakeable. She handled every challenge (of which there were many) impecably, solved every problem, was so professional and warm and friendly despite it all -- I really don't know how she did it. I deal with "challenging" clients all the time, but Lina's degree of professionalism was truly impressive.
  
  Most importantly, OUR WEDDING (May 29, 2011) ENDED UP BEING MAGNIFICENT. Everything was gorgeous - the flowers, the table settings, the programs, all perfectly arranged, all just coming together perfectly. The whole afternoon/evening literally went off without a hitch from beginning to end (which was miraculous considering) -- and Lina was the single, biggest reason why. She and her team somehow shepherded all 350 guests -- many of whom were from different cultures and didn't even speak fluent English! -- from area to area both at my parents' gardens and the country club, and they did it gracefully and politely all the while. The caterer, the florist, the band, the videographer, the photographers, the wedding party, the family, the "extended" family, the country club, the wait staff at my parents' home, the party rental people -- I don't know how, but she managed all of them.
  
  Whether you want her help with everything (highly recommend), or just at the final stages, I really can't recommend her enough. There are so many details that go into planning a wedding and no online checklist covers them all. Lina is very knowledgeable, and organized. She helped us throughout the entire planning process. She gave us a "to do" list each month, and prioritized the items so we knew what HAD to be done, and what could be pushed out if we did not have enough time that month. She kept us on track without ever being pushy. Lina gave us great suggestions on design and fun ideas to make our wedding unique. All the vendors she recommended were wonderful too. She thought about every detail, and planned the day perfectly. On the day of the wedding, Lina was calm and professional and made sure everything stayed on track. I did not have to worry about anything.
  
  My husband and I are so happy with how our wedding day went. We were able to truly enjoy our day without any worries because we knew Lina was taking care of it all.

  In short, Lina Wallace is awesome. I am a cynic when it comes to almost everything, and I am extremely busy, but I have to take time to let everyone know how professional and effective she was. We used the 'unlimited access' service from her - and I don't know how to convince this reader that is was worth every penny and more. I'll admit I am a do it yourselfer and a tightwad, and I normally would plan my own stuff, but for this, we were time constrained, and just ask her, we brought her so many a scheduling and worry issues, even to the last minute. But after getting to know her and her ability to problem solve, I felt so much safer that the event would be pulled off without a hitch. Poor thing she had to mediate and solve all the problems, and she was so professional, and adept at handling any little snag, and dealt with various personality problems, vendors, clergy, everybody amazingly. We got so many kudos even from guests ON THE WEDDING PLANNER!!!?!!! and how great she and her staff were! During the planning any trivial question texted or emailed to her had a response within an hour or two. Always returned calls within MINUTES. Always smiling. Don't know how she does it. You can be as involved in detail or not involved at all and pretty much let her suggest everything. We both liked her taste. She made everything so easy for us, kept us informed, and made us feel in complete control the whole time. A true professional, I am sure she can easily handle true divas and high profile people.   Lina at A Stunning Affair is an extreme value for flowers. In my first meeting with her, we spent over 2 hours talking about my vision for all the flowers. At that point, all I could tell her was: natural, airy and fresh feeling with a lot of green. As you can imagine, it took several more conversations with a lot of examples and pictures to nail down the vision and details. Lina was amazingly patient and had a lot of suggestions for flowers, textures and lighting I had not considered before. She made me a sample centerpiece and I was so excited. I shared a few additional thoughts and suggestions which she included on the day of and everything looked better than I imagined. The flowers for the ceremony, cocktails and reception were so detailed, yet simple as I had envisioned. The most amazing detail of the wedding was the ceremony arch which she covered in greenery, curly willow, berries and flower clusters. I'm so grateful that I'm a bride who gets to say "the day was perfect" and that includes all the work Lina did to bring my vision to life with the natural earthly flowery feel. Although my style may have been a little less traditional, Lina is just plain good at what she does and will help you realize part of your dream/vision for the wedding. I promise :)
