The event manager was truly amazing and helpful. Very kind and beautifully spirited woman! The food was delicious, the staff was kind and attentive! Could not have chosen a better place!!

Acqua was amazing! From the beautiful view, the huge dance floor and the amazing food; we could not have asked for a better wedding!

We cannot say enough about what a fantastic job Acqua did to make our wedding dreams a reality. First off, Alison Potter is amazing. She is honest, hard-working, and when she makes a promise she delivers. Alison accommodated us living in Baltimore by making sure when we were in town we were able to meet and get things done in a short amount of time.

The renovations to Acqua are breathtaking and have come such a long way. The outdoor bar was closed and falling apart when we first toured Acqua May of 2018, but by the summer of 2019, the bar was up and running with fresh paint- perfect to enjoy the gorgeous views of the water. The Harbor Room has been completely transformed with neutral walls, stunning lighting, and beautiful new floors. The night before my wedding Alison emailed me a picture of the new sails that Rick (the handyman) finished specifically for our wedding. Rick was also amazing. He fixed and cleaned every little detail to make Acqua as beautiful as ever.

Christy was our day of coordinator at Acqua. We met with her the Thursday before our wedding with all our DIY wedding decor. All she needed us to do was to put post-its on things if we knew where we wanted them to go. The rest she did. When we arrived at Acqua the day of our wedding we were completely blown away. Christy got our vision and made it a reality. She did an incredible job with all our décor and everything was absolutely perfect.

The views at Acqua are what made us choose this venue for our wedding, but the food is incredible and the staff is accommodating. So many of our guests came up to us at the end of the night to tell us how amazing the food was and how beautiful the venue was.

Any future brides out there- check this place out. I promise it won’t disappoint! They made all our wedding dreams come true.

Ali Martin worked our wedding this weekend, and I can't say enough about what a fantastic job she did. We had a ton of DIY decor that we brought in for her and Dan to set up, and they made the place look INCREDIBLE!! Our guests haven't stopped talking about the food and the incredible variety in the station menu. From Asian to Mexican to Southern food, Acqua does it all, and they do it SO WELL! The food was displayed in such an artistic way, it made the already delicious food look and taste even better!

Molly runs such an honest business, her and her staff made this entire experience an enjoyable one. With so many other venues we looked at, it seemed like there were hidden costs everywhere, but at the Acqua, we knew all our money was going toward the food, drinks, and service fees, and it was worth every penny. She helped us select the perfect menu for our event, and we loved the fact that as the owner of the business that she was accessible to her customers and willing to offer any and all advice!

They did a fantastic job accommodating our vendors, from our DJ, to our decorator and photographer--everyone was able to come together and help create a truly unforgettable day for my husband and I. The view of the sunset over the water is a moment in time my husband and I will cherish forever. It was the perfect backdrop for those wedding photos I've dreamed of taking my whole life.

The new renovations to the harbor room were BEAUTIFUL, and completely transformed the place. With the neutral backdrop of the walls, and the stunning chandelier lighting, it's truly a space any bride can mold and transform into her vision.

So many of our guests came up to us at the end of the night, and said it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and without Ali, Molly, and the rest of the wonderful staff at Acqua, none of this would have been possible. Any future brides out there looking for a venue, you need to check this place out. They made all our dreams come true, and gave us memories that our friends and family will cherish for the rest of our lives

The most magical place. Their staff, their food, their ambiance. They made sure you felt special and went above and beyond. I can't thank them enough. Highly recommend .

We just had our wedding this past weekend and loved every moment of it. We worked with Ali M. And her responsiveness was a brides dream come true! Our guest raved about the venue and food. I highly recommend.

Amazing night here, the food is amazing. Everything from the initial meeting with them to the tasting and up to the big day was above and beyond. They did everything as we had hoped from the decor to the seating. The sunset over the water just made the whole night.like a fairytale

We held a small wedding at Acqua Restaurant on November 7th. We received great feedback from our guests on the venue and overall set-up of the room. Our wedding ceremony was also onsite which added additional logistics for the staff. Allie was very nice to work with and responded to all of my emails quickly and addressed any questions/concerns that we had during the planning process. We were able to work within a smaller budget and have a lovely Friday evening wedding that our friends and family enjoyed.

We had our rehearsal brunch here at AcQua on the patio and WOW it was absolutely stunning. The event planner I worked with, Alexandra, was accommodating and made sure everything went perfectly. The food was delicious and I would recommend AcQua for any type of wedding event; showers, rehearsals, or a wedding!

On June 7, 2014 , we had our daughter's wedding reception at Acqua in the Harbor Room. Everything from the food to the venue was spectacular ! Many of our guests commented that this was the best wedding they ever attended. Not to mention, the views and the sunset from the deck are beautiful !

Acqua was a beautiful venue. When we arrived around 5:45, the sun was shining into the room and it looked magical. The room was set up perfectly I don't think I could have done a better job myself. Everything from where our guest book was located to the place cards to the card box was just right. We had three bars, two inside and one outside, and I think that was great. The food was excellent, I just wish I had more time to eat more. They were accommodating to vegetarian requests, as well as kids meals. John was very flexible with us, and always reassured us if we had worries. We heard some negative reviews about Acqua prior to our wedding, but after our event, we will never say a negative thing about them. Several of our friends and families said it was one of the best if not the best wedding they have ever been to. When my husband and I walked around the room we saw a lot of empty plates, which is always a good sign that the food was great. I would love to attend a wedding here as a guest so I could enjoy more about it. Beautiful room (it was recently remodeled) with a great view.

Acqua was the best place to have a wedding! Amazing view. Amazing service! Made every thing we wanted come true. Wonderful people to work with. Good was delicious. Brand new room. Just great!

Service and food was outstanding! I never had to worry about anything and they always responding to all my questions throughout the process. My guests raved about the food and the overall quality was superb!

Our reception was wonderful! This is such a beautiful venue, and so unique that it is right on the water with an amazing view. Our guests really enjoyed being able to have drinks at the outside bar - very nice! The room itself is really great, interesting layout when you go to check it out but it worked so well for the reception, trust them! The bar location inside the room is also perfect. Dance floor size was exactly what I wanted - not too small not too big. John was wonderful to work with, even when we were getting really anxious and had to be driving him crazy with questions, he was so patient, knowledgable, pleasant and quick to respond. And the food was soooo good!!

We recently had our wedding at Acqua. It was an amazing day for us as well as all of our guests. The food was delicious and every wedding detail was well attended to. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating to all of our needs. It was a beautiful sunset- an awesome few of the water. I would highly recommend Acqua for your wedding.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Acqua, its new owner and staff. They covered every single detail we requested - nothing was left out - and we had many. The appetizers were over the top in creativity and taste. Each of the 270+ dinners (4 entree choices) were cooked to perfection - everyone raved over how delicious everything was!! The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you Thank you AcQua, Molly & Staff!

We had our wedding at harry's harbour place & grill and it was perfect. the food was fabulous and the staff was very nice. The sound of our dj was excellent- I was a little nervous with all the windows & it bouncing around and with the way the room is situated i wanted to make sure the sound went thru the whole room~ but it was great. Everything was wonderful.

We had a wonderful experience with Harry's, and in particular with Claudia, their event planner. She was always responsive to our questions and helped us to plan our wedding reception exactly the way we wanted it. Our guests loved the outdoor deck overlooking the Niagara River and the deck upstairs where we had our cocktail hour. The food was delicious and the bartenders and servers were efficient and friendly. All in all, we'd recommend it highly to anyone planning a wedding in Buffalo.

We had our wedding here at the end of June and it was perfect! Ali was a huge help in the planning process and did an amazing job at making sure everything was taken care of! The outside was a huge hit and the ballroom was gorgeous! Everyone was complimenting the food and Ali put together an awesome soft pretzel station for a late night snack. I highly recommend Acqua for an amazing wedding!!!

John and I were married and had our wedding reception at Acqua this past October. We couldn't have imagined that the day would have turned out so picture perfect. We were pleased with everything that Acqua provided- the room looked beautiful, the food was hot and delicious and the staff was more than accommodating to all of our requests. We worked with Molly with all of the planning- she was great and helped make our day so very special. Thank you Acqua for a dream wedding day!!!

We can't rave enough about how much we enjoyed our wedding day at Acqua. The Acqua staff created an amazing day for us. The wait staff and bartenders were all great. The Chef worked with our special menu requests -the food was delicious and came out hot!!! We worked with Molly throughout the planning process. She was always professional and so easy to work with. She put us at ease and helped to make our wedding day perfect. Though we didn't use the outside patio, the view was still beautiful and made for great photos. I would definiitely recommend Acqua to anyone planning a wedding.

We loved working with Harry's Harbour. They worked with us on several different things to make sure that our day was just perfect. Would highly recommend!

Originally when we booked with Acqua, John was my coordinator and he was not great, and thats putting it kindly. Once we switched to Alexandra (Ali), we had nothing but good things to say. I was quite hesitant about the wedding after reading some not so nice reviews but everything was wonderful. The food got rave reviews, and Ali even made sure that the night went according to schedule. My only complaint was that I had to remind them to put out our NYE favors 30 minutes before the new year. Ali really made it as stress free as possible and she made sure the room looked exactly as I wanted it to look. Much better experience than all of the mediocre reviews on this website!
