    The most AMAZING wedding venue in the 4state area! Close to Joplin Missouri and easy to get to! Gorgeous!!!!!

    If you are looking for a venue that is extremely classy and elegant AND has the capability of hosting both the ceremony and the reception, this is a wonderful option. The way it worked out for my wedding, we had to fit the rehearsal and decoration on the day of, and Meghan and Cindy were so wonderful and helped so much to make it work. Definitely recommend at least visiting. Bonus: It's super close to Indigo Sky and Downstream Casino. I believe they even have a shuttle service package with Indigo Sky. Definite recommend!

    Amadeus Ranch is the most beautiful wedding venue around the area! We were so happy with everything! You really cannot find a better place to have your wedding and reception!

    Very unsatisfied!!


    WARNING long post...but I would consider reading before booking!!

    I am saddened that I have to make this review! My husband and I were married here a few weeks ago! We were so in love with the location and the setting as the venue is truly gorgeous! However, we are very unstatisfied with the staff and business aspect! When we booked this location, we placed a $500 deposit fee, which also served as a damage fee, and it was communicated that the money would be returned to us after the ceremony, providing no damage. We also booked a package deal through the venue that added an additional amount onto our final invoice! The package included tablecloths, 6 additional table and chairs, day of coordinator, and trash take out and clean up (pay attention to this, as I will refer to it again later on)! We ended up providing our own tablecloths and I had my own day of coordinator, so that difference was removed from our final invoice! However, 60 days before our wedding, I went to deliver the full payment for the venue. Upon meeting with the owner, she informed me that we still owed $500 to cover the damage fee! I was shocked as we’ve already invested so much, but didn’t wish to make a big scene, so I went home. After discussing it with my now husband and reviewing the contract, I was still unsure how we owed more money. I eventually asked the owner for an itemized description of where our money was going, and where the additional money would be going! She later responded, informing me that we had been over charged $230! Had I paid the $500 and never questioned the mistake, then they would have taken our money and never thought twice about it! Which would have then put us at an over charge of $730! Fast forward to after the wedding, I had to message the owner once again, to confirm that we would still be receiving the over payment, since we still had not received it 2 months later. I also inquired about the $500 deposit, but could not be provided information, regarding the money, at the that time. A week and a half Iater I received the refund in the mail, and it was $100 short of what I was expecting! I messaged the owner again confronting her about the issue, where she proceeded to inform me, the $100 was taken out to cover trash take out and monitoring! Which brings me back to the package I previously mentioned! If I paid extra for a package, that included trash take out and monitoring, then why am I being charged extra? She was unable to support the package deal that was advertised, even after I sent a picture highlighting what was included! This venue clearly can’t back up the information
    they provide, and are only looking to receive more of your hard earned money! There where many other issues I experienced while doing business with Amadeus, but I have only chose to disclose the main issues! I am so saddened that we had such an unpleasant experience with these individuals, as the location is absolutely stunning and I love the country setting! However, after or unsatisfying experience, I would have to say that I don’t recommend this venue to any future bride or couple! Furthermore, if you do wish to book through them, I HIGHLY recommend getting anything discussed wrote down on the contract and signed by both parties. I would also STRONGLY recommend having an additional person, you can rely on, there to witness the signing of the contract as well as anything else that may be discussed! I don’t wish for any bride or couple to experience what we had to, so I’d reconsider before booking with this venue!

    I’m sorry that you were confused with the billing from our venue. It clearly stated in our contract that you owed $3000 (under #1) for the venue AND $500 (under #3) for the damage/cleaning deposit. Your initial deposit was your first payment and NOT a refundable damage deposit, as stated in the contract- it is a non-refundable deposit (under #1). You were never billed for any additional package due to you providing your own linens, as seen on your invoices, you were ONLY billed for the building rental and refundable damage/cleaning deposit. Your overpayment would never have been kept, we thought you were going to apply it towards another service (like draping or another service considering your mother contacted us 7/15/20 asking for servers). I can understand where there was confusion about the extra $100 for additional cleaning and trash fees that are not included with the base rental. We were told at the wedding that you were paying EXTRA for this service. Again, it states in the contract that you are responsible for clean up and trash (under #10), so this service is not included in the venue rental. Cleaning/Garbage listed with the venue bundle per the invoice is to cover general housekeeping and dumpster fees. With the extra $100, we managed/emptied the trash throughout the evening, took all the trash to the dumpster, picked up all the chairs from the ceremony and reception, cleared tables of trash, carted tables, picked up beer cans and trash left on the patio, parking lot and front lawn, cleaned up after sparkler exit and disposed of sparklers left in the front lawn area, and sanitized the kitchen/bar. You were returned your entire damage/cleaning deposit (despite the amount of beer cans and trash left on the patio, parking lot, and in the front lawn), and the overpayment (-$100 for the EXTRA service that we were told you were paying for) within 10 days (refund check written 8/15/20- wedding date 8/8/20) as it says we will in our contract. It would not be possible for us to hold this 2 months considering your wedding was 8/8/2020. This was explained when questioned and we thought you understood.

    You paid $3812.00
    You overpaid $231.75
    Extra trash and cleaning service we were informed that you wanted at wedding: $100.00
    Refunded $631.75 ($500 damage deposit and $131.75 overpayment)
    All that was actually paid was $3180.25. ($3000 venue fee, tax and 100.00-no additional packages were invoiced)

    Again, I’m sorry for the confusion. We thought you had an understanding since there was no more questions. We would be happy to go over the contract that you signed again with you as we hate that anyone would be dissatisfied with Amadeus Ranch.

    Avoid out of principal (LOVE IS LOVE)

    This venue is operated by narrow minded and bigoted owners who refuse to be open to hosting all couples. I booked an appointment to tour the venue to plan a wedding at the venue and shortly after arriving the site host called the owner of the venue to check to ensure a same sex wedding would be allowed. Sadly, my dream of getting married at this venue was shattered. While the site host was gracious, it was quite awkward and she stated she did not personally agree with the owners decision, however it was not up to her. It makes me wonder what other groups have suffered discrimination at this venue. It is 2023 and the joyous union of two men should be celebrated and not shunned.
