Ashley took her time to make sure we were comfortable, having fun, and felt included in making decisions for our shoot. We were absolutely THRILLED with the final result! We are both so glad we picked Ashley to be our wedding photographer. -

Working with Ashley was such an awesome experience. From working out the details of our first photo shoot to planning out our wedding day Ashley was more than accommodating. She offered great insight and captured so many beautiful moments. I honestly enjoyed connecting with her just as mush as I loved the photos she took which makes the memories even better. -

She analyzes who she is working with to make them feel comfortable and gather the best ideas for them. She was very professional and was open to any ideas we had as well. We went to two different locations, which were very far apart, to capture the perfect moments. She was also very fun and made us laugh throughout! The quality of the pictures were amazing! -

Gina Sent on 11/16/2016My wife Sara and I found Ashley on Instagram by searching for #columbusweddingphhotographers. All of Ashley's work came up with #ashleycoxphotos. We live near Cleveland and the wedding was up that way as well and she traveled to us to help capture our memories. Obviously Ashley Cox Photos is LGBT friendly and treated Sara and I with the utmost respect and dignity- Which is huge in today's world! The quality of all of our photos and prints is stunning! I loved all of her ideas and how Ashley really paid attention to every single little detail. She helped make our wedding memories and we couldn't be more thankful!Ashley Cox Photos's reply:

You, Sara, your friends, and families were a BLAST to work with. User2530180 Sent on 02/09/2016My husband and I hired Ashley Cox Photos for our February 2015 wedding as she photographed our daughters family for quite some time. She was fairly priced and even stayed an hour longer than our contracted agreement as things went a little slower than anticipated. All on a cold and very, very snowy night!Ashley Cox Photos's reply:

It was absolutely my pleasure! Before your wedding, I had never seen a Scottish ceremony so it was really fun for me. I also stayed late because I know first hand that not every wedding or event goes exactly as planned. I'm happy I was able to help out, so thank you so much for allowing me the honor of photographing your incredible day! -

Sarah Sent on 10/18/2020Disappointed with the final outcome
Unfortunately I have to update my previous review from our 10/17/2020 wedding. First I would like to say I think Ashley is talented and she responded very quickly every time I reached out to her, even after the wedding. But after receiving our photos we were disappointed with the outcome on some of them. The biggest disappointment came with the reception photos. We paid to have a 2nd photographer for the day and we can’t use most of the ones she took at the reception because they are so overexposed and blown out. Ashley did get some good ones but when it came to the speeches and cake cutting she took them from a side angle that you can’t really see people’s faces or reactions. The 2nd photographer did take photos at a better angle but again we can’t really use them.
We didn’t receive any photos of us walking out of the ceremony or into the reception and when I asked her about them she said that they didn’t turn out. I understand things happen sometimes but those are important moments to capture and I feel like someone who’s been doing this for 10 years should have been better prepared to get those shots.
We also provided a very detailed list of photos we were wanting before and after wedding. I was able to remember most of what we was wanting but obviously I have a lot going on that I couldn’t remember everything and it didn’t seem like she was keeping up on it because there were important photos missed. Again I realize that there was a lot going on but the point of giving her the list was to make sure, between us, nothing was missed.
Lastly some of the groom and groomsmen photos didn’t turn out great because the groom is squinting in half of them because of it being bright outside and she had them facing the sun.
As previously stated I do think Ashley is talented and I really like her editing style but we was quite disappointed with the end result considering what we paid and what we got.Ashley Cox Photos's reply:
