Most Beautiful Venue!!
My wedding was a BLAST! We made a great choice choosing Atkinson Farms. The entire property is absolutely stunning. I kept getting compliments from my wedding guests saying how much it gave them “Yellowstone” vibes. From start to finish Eddie was there to walk us through. If you are looking for a venue stop looking now and book!!! -

My wife and I got married here in November of 2021. It has taken me quite some time to write this because I’ve still been in awe over the experience for months now. As soon as we pulled up to the property we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and speaks for itself but the customer service we received throughout planning our wedding from the moment we picked our date through the end of our wedding weekend was exceptional. I can’t say enough about the venue manager, Zach and how he went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, went smoothly and eased any of our concerns as they came up. We hired Eddie Blachura for our catering and Stephanie Yates for our day of coordinator per Zach’s recommendation and both of them were exceptional as well. Nearly a year later, many of our guests are still talking about our wedding. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making our dreams come true. -

BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! I say this not only because of how gorgeous the venue is but because of how amazing the venue manager Zach is! I spent over a year planning my wedding at Atkinson and Zach was a tremendous help throughout the entire wedding process! He was very responsive to all of my texts and emails and always had a solution or option for whenever I would get stuck in the wedding planning process. I was a covid bride and had to postpone the wedding twice. He was prepared and knew exactly how to handle all of the stress that came with planning a wedding during Covid. He allowed us to postpone our wedding date there without any extra charge and truly went above and beyond all of my expectations when it comes to a venue manager. I really felt as though he really cared about me getting my safe dream wedding!
The venue is beautiful, absolutely a dream. You can tell the owners really care about their venue by how well the grounds are kept. I can’t believe something so beautiful and nice is located in Danville, VA! The bridal suite is the best bridal suite I have seen for a wedding venue and I love that the guys also have their own separate cabin to get ready in.
So again, book this venue! Especially if you want your wedding to run smoothly and organized!! Zach knows the grounds and venue like the back of his hands and knows what flow works there and what doesn’t! -

My wedding could honestly not have been more perfect thanks to Zach and Atkinson Farms!
My wedding was affected by COVID, much like every other bride in 2020 and I was forced to make the last minute decision 2 months before my wedding to switch venues. I called Zach, the event manager, in a panic and he provided the best hospitality and service that I could ever ask for. Me and Zach, along with my groom and our families all meshed so perfectly together. Atkinson provided me with a wedding beyond what I could have ever dreamed and imagined and they did so at the last minute. If I could go back and re-plan my wedding without covid, I would pick here. I would pick this venue 100 times over and work with these amazing people. It is even more beautiful and the people are even more great than the pictures and reviews do it justice for. I will forever suggest and support this venue. Thank you for making my day so special, and beyond all we could hope for! -

Best Wedding Venue 🖤
Atkinson Farms is so gorgeous and spacious. Great for any large event. Venue coordinator, Zach Gibson, is amazing! All I had to do was text him if I had a question or concern and he would respond right away. He has helped coordinate many events at Atkinson Farms so he had the best recommendations.
For example, we were supposed to have an outdoor wedding ceremony, but it was calling for rain the day of our wedding. Zach assured me we could manage to do the ceremony inside. I had my doubts because we were expecting about 250 people, plus our reception and cocktail hour were inside. Right after the ceremony Zach and his guys broke down chairs from the ceremony and had the cocktail hour settings in place in record time!
Not to mention our original wedding date was April 25th and Zach worked diligently with us to make sure we still had our dream wedding in August, despite COVID. If you are planning a large wedding, this is your venue! -

I cannot recommend Atkinson Farms and Zach enough! The venue speaks for itself in all of its beauty and Zach was absolutely amazing from the second we booked with him, all throughout the wedding process, and on our wedding day! He made any worries that we had go away and was available anytime of day with answers to our questions, and followed through with all of the trust we put in him down to every detail of the day. He was absolutely wonderful and will easily become a friend of yours from the very beginning! ❤️ -

Daughters November Wedding
Spectacular! To say Zach was amazing, is an understatement. From our first call until the last moment he had every detail under control. Even helping fob through emotional moment.s. Zach helped us find every local vendor and came through in pinch moments before we asked. He’s a man of integrity and honor and came through in every way. Truly part of the fam now! Eddie did phenomenal catering job. Far exceeded our expectations down to every detail. Highly recommend giving him creative freedom and sticking with his specialties. He handled every detail for me including the most amazing rehearsal dinner. I was a picky mob and Eddie came through. Eddie and Zach worked well together to make the entire weekend a huge success. If you are looking for a farm/country atmosphere with a kick of elegance, this venue is it! The barn was warm and golden for our daughters indoor ceremony and reception. Excellent outdoor options as well as breathtaking indoors. Highly recommend booking entire venue plus extra night. Space was perfect for our large family and extra day booking was just what we needed to relax after busy week. You won’t regret booking this venue and it will be your best wedding decision! -

A little magic brought to the south
This venue was everything we could have needed and more! The owner was extremely helpful and not only helped us find some vendors but also helped us book hotel rooms. We don’t live in the area and they made it simple and easy. The place is so romantic and breath taking it didn’t take much to take our breath away. I also highly recommend getting it for the weekend. It was well worth every cent. -

Best venue ever!
BEST VENUE EVER! It's hard to find a place to begin writing this review, because there are so many good things to say about this beautiful venue and its staff.
Zach, the venue manager, makes the entire wedding planning process exciting and enjoyable from start to finish. He is so approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable-- and he truly wants to make sure that your big day is everything that you had ever hoped for and more. He is more than happy to answer any questions you have, and he personally recommends local vendors (catering, DJ, hair/makeup, etc.), whom are all equally fantastic.
The venue is very well maintained and has many conveniences that made the entire experience more than we could have ever imagined. The lodge next to the reception barn is truly amazing. It provided such a quiet, comfortable, and beautiful accommodation for before and after the wedding that we plan on coming back for a little get away.
I would highly recommend this venue and guarantee you wont regret it.

Wonderful Experience
Atkinson Farms is a beautiful venue! Words can't describe how picture perfect it is. The Staff at the venue helps you take care of your every need and make sure your day is perfect! They are always responsive to any questions or concerns. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. Choosing Atkinson Farms was the best decision we made! -

Zach Gibson at Atkinson Farms, Eddie Blachura and his catering team and Tara and her Bartending team were the absolute best group of people to work with for our daughter’s wedding this past weekend. Their attention to detail, professionalism and sincere caring about creating the perfect wedding was evident in every interaction we had with them. It was all about the bride and making sure nothing was left to chance. I honestly don’t know if I could say enough good things about them all, but what I can say is that they delivered, as a team, the most perfect weekend my family has ever had and have given our daughter the princess wedding she has always dreamed of.
The grounds, lodge, cabin and barns are kept in immaculate condition. Zach made all the stress of the wedding coordination seem small as he answered every question we had. He genuinely cares about making the experience at Atkinson Farms all that it can be and stayed on hand until he knew everything was taken care of. He did so much to add to the experience that it is indescribable.
Zach recommended Eddie Blachura and his team for the catering. If you have the chance to have Eddie cater an event, do it. Communication was key with Eddie. He wanted to make sure we were on the same page regarding expectations, food and service and is just a great guy to get to know. Besides that, the food was cooked to perfection and his experienced staff were some of the most professional servers I’ve ever experienced. Eddie made sure that every detail regarding the food and presentation of the meal was done to perfection. He genuinely cared about providing a night that no one would forget.
Thank you Atkinson Farms, Zach and Eddie for giving our family a weekend that will never be forgotten.

Anne Sent on 12/02/2017Having our daughter’s wedding at Atkinson Farms was the best choice in location that we could have made. The grounds are simply beautiful and the barn is stunning, both creating such an impact for one of the most important days in the life of a family. The lodge, which is incredibly roomy yet cozy at the same time, was a very comfortable place for the bride, bridesmaids and mothers to get ready, and even contributed to helping everyone feel relaxed. And we hear that the cabin was just right and a lot of fun for the men to prepare for the big day. Most importantly, however, were the people who helped us make this special day come to pass. Our first contact was with Zach who, from the beginning all the way to the final week of the wedding, was kind, helpful, friendly, and available for any and all of our needs and questions. Zach recommended Eddie to us for catering. We are so thrilled we had Eddie, and his great staff, to work with as he is more than a caterer. He went above and beyond our expectations with the delicious food, amazing service, and meeting more of our needs that we can count, being with us the entire wedding day. Our family highly recommends Atkinson Farms and the wonderful people associated with it to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding day. Thank you, Zach and Eddie!

Maggie Sent on 10/25/2017Atkinson Farms was the wedding of my dreams! We booked the entire barn for the cocktail hour and reception. We also opted for the full venue the entire weekend which allowed us to have a beautiful rehearsal and stay overnight the wedding eve and wedding day. My husband loved the cabin with his groomsmen the right before and they all fished and played pool! Zach the manager is what really made the venue though. He is there for you from the day you arrive for a showing, throughout all the appoint,ends with vendors and planning, and during your entire event weekend. He goes above and beyond as if you've known him for years. I wish I could have an event once a year at this venue!

Ellen Sent on 10/24/2017The Atkinson Farms was the perfect location for my daughter's wedding. The lodge, cabin, and barn make a beautiful backdrop for any storybook wedding. Zach Gibson and his team go over and above to meet your every need. They answered your questions before you could even ask them. When you step foot onto the manicured grounds, it is hard to believe you are in Danville, VA. We are very fortuned to have a venue this top notch in our area. One of the main things I liked about this property was the diverse use of space. If you plan an outdoor wedding and it rains, there is a backup. You cannot go wrong at the Atkinson Farms! They take care of everything! The day was perfect and if we had to do it over again, we would not change one thing!
