  Best of the best!

  I got married in June 2019 and booked my through Lacee at ABGR. All I can say is, BEST DECISION EVER! Avila and SLO county holds a special place in my heart as both my husband and I are Cal Poly graduates. ABGR is not only the perfect venue because of its location, but it offers so much more than your typical wedding venue. The renovated beach club is a dream, and there are so many options for where to have your ceremony. The black and white dance floor matches any theme. I love that you can go elegant, rustic, beachy, and the venue suits all styles. They offer a lot of seating (which cuts cost for rentals). They offer tables (both cocktail and dining), they allow you to rent their adorable LOVE sign, fire pits, jenga blocks, the list goes on. My guests were so amazed with all the small details that the venue had to offer. I love that you get the view of the beach AND the mountains. You can't really ask for a better backdrop. The bridal suit is SO adorable and is stocked with everything you could need. To top it off, the staff is extremely professional and organized. They were SO helpful and can offer so many suggestions with vendors and etc. I seriously can't say enough about ABGR. Lacee is a true gem and you won't regret working with her. She has an eye for event planning and knows her venue... overall a WIN-WIN!!

  Perfect Wedding Perfect Day

  Amazing views, great people to work with!

  We loved it from the minute we visited it, the people, the town, and the overall feel of the place made us know it was the one! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect location/venue!

  Amazing beautiful venue - great staff

  I got married at this venue a little under three months ago. I emailed the venue and was immediately sent information from Lacee, the Sales Manager. After a few back and forth emails with Lacee, my then fiancé and I scheduled a tour with Lacee and immediately knew this was the venue for us. The proximity to the ocean really sealed the deal for us. After the next several months I planned my wedding and worked closely with Lacee to bring my vision to life. I liked that I was able to bring in my own caterer, and selected Popolo Catering off the list of preferred vendors.

  I am so thankful that we chose ABGR to host our wedding ceremony and reception. The venue staff were incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating to our needs throughout the entire planning process. This venue doesn't nickel and dime you very every last detail and we felt as though we got a tremendous value for all that we wanted on our big day. Plus you really cannot beat the charming golf course / beach setting. Thank you ABGR for helping us create the wedding of our dreams :)

  I am so glad that we chose Avila Beach Golf Resort for our wedding! It was the PERFECT outdoor venue-- beachfront (but not sandy) with stunning mountain views. Most importantly to us, the venue felt very intimate and private (unlike at a hotel where everyone is watching you get married from their balconies). We chose to have our ceremony face the mountains instead of facing the beach/bridge, which I think is less popular, but we are so happy that we did it because we didn't want random beach-goers and cars in the background of our pictures. Lacee and Allison were extremely helpful the entire way; I emailed them pretty frequently with random questions, and they always got back to me right away and made me feel at ease. On the day of, they had everything taken care of-- the fire pits, heaters, the bar, the bridal suite (with champagne of course), and everything else I could think of. It was all perfect and I'm sad it's over!

  The staff at Avila Beach Golf Resort flawlessly created the wedding of my dreams. Lacee and Allie were so pleasant and easy to work with. They cared deeply about putting on the perfect wedding for me, and I am so grateful for their genuine care put into our day. The resort is STUNNING, and my guests loved the view and how close the ceremony and reception sites are to each other. Lacee and Allie answered every single one of my questions with such detail and ensured I was 100% clear with all the logistics prior to the wedding day.   I have been holding events at this venue each year for over 5 years and I am always impressed with this facility. It has beautiful grounds and spectacular views of the ocean. The staff is so wonderful to work with. They help make my job in planning my events effortless.

  I could not recommend Avila Beach Golf Resort any more highly.
  
  First of all- the venue is absolutely stunning. There are so many great settings (from the ceremony site to the clubhouse to the beautiful lawn) and everything just looked so beautiful.
  
  The staff is phenomenal! Lacee and Lindsey were always totally responsive, kind, accommodating, open and fair. The whole experience was so pleasant and fun and there were no surprises. They are the best!
  
  The venue is also a fantastic value. I feel like all the prices were completely fair (and that's often not true when it comes to wedding costs!).
  
  We had a truly perfect experience with the venue and with the staff. Look no further!!!

  Avila Beach Golf Resort was so beautiful, I simply couldn't resist the venue as my envisioned wedding backdrop. My husband and I were not too keen on the bridge in the background of the ceremony photos, but I couldn't pick another venue which offered such a protected outdoor setting with a warm and beautiful, beach environment. Our wedding photos turned out fine too! Lacee advertised August as the most beautiful month for weather in Avila Beach and she was right. With the exception of about 30 minutes of wind during the ceremony, the day was perfect. The night before our event, the same venue was used for a giant concert. At 1100 the day of our wedding, however, not a hint of that event was left to be seen on the grounds. We were able to use a very spacious room to get ready while the bridal suite is still undergoing construction, and the team at AVBR provided us with coffee, juice, sparkling wine and water while we were getting ready. Overall the staff was timely and responsive, and did a great job at helping me pick vendors and know my timeline for the wedding. I live overseas, and Lacee even agreed to host my bridal party members and my wedding planner for a meeting without me several months in advance. Giant kudos to Lacee and Allison for their flexibility and professionalism while I was preparing this big event! I'd recommend this venue to any couple!

When we booked this venue, my husband and I knew our friends and family would love it as much as we did--and we were right. We had the tented reception package, which included all of the table and chairs, lighting, many decor items, and a lot of other perks (free golf game, champagne the morning of the wedding, etc.) Lacee and Jessica make a great team. They were very dedicated to making our wedding special, and we are so thankful!

I did my venue research and I can stay without any hesitation this is the best venue on the central coast.

  Spectacular wedding at Avila Beach Resort March 14!
  We started planning this wedding over a year ago, meeting with Lacee early in 2014. She was personable, professional and easy to work with from the start. I am now a widower, and as a man without any experience in this, I had many questions. Over the past year plus, we came in several times to meet with Lacee, and the past few months with Jessica there as well. I also called and emailed a number of times. Lacee and Jessica were in touch with my daughter and I throughout, and quickly answered our questions. They have orchestrated many weddings between the two of them, and they were great listening to what we were talking about doing, and had perfect advice for us.
  
  Planning a mid-March wedding is interesting. I was more worried about possible weather issues than anything else. All of the vendors we used were fantastic. Most had worked at Avila Beach and with Lacee and Jessica many times. It turned out that it was a beautiful day, mid and upper 80's during the set-up Saturday afternoon. And it was about 80 at 4:00 in the afternoon for the ceremony - almost too warm! We ordered some extra heaters for the reception figuring that after the sun went down at 7:30 it may cool off (and heard that the wedding the weekend before got pretty chilly during the night). It was totally worth the extra money for the heaters. The evening didn't get as cold as the weekend before, and with 15 heaters scattered around the tables outside, no one ever got cold.
  
  The wedding day turned out to be about as stress free as you can imagine. Lacee and Jessica were both there for us mid morning Saturday , and worked until late Sat night, It was so smooth. I was very comfortable knowing they were there and everything was taken care of. I highly recommend Lacee and Jessica, and Avila Beach Resort. A beautiful venue for a wedding.

The staff was extremely responsive and easy to work with. We received so many compliments on our venue choice and we really wouldn't change a thing!   Avila Beach Golf course is absolutely beautiful! Lacee and her team were so helpful and great to work with. They were attentive and met all of my needs and wants for my wedding!   I cannot say enough positive things about the venue managers at Avila Beach Golf Resort. They went above and beyond the call of duty. It was not easy planning a wedding from two states away but we were able to meet only twice and have our whole wedding planned. They made amazing recommendations for vendors in the area and on our wedding day everything went exactly as planned. If you're getting married on the central coast there's not a more beautiful place to do it or better people to be working with!

  Service and venue was everything I could imagine for my wedding day. Everything turned out beautiful. I knew everything was taken care of because of their awesome service!

  Working with Lacee made everything simple and easy. She thought of details that I never would've thought to have prepared for the big day. She asked all the right questions so that we would have everything we needed. I would recommend her services to anyone wanting to have their wedding at Avila Beach Golf Resort.

  Avila Beach Golf Resort was great! We got married a few weeks ago and Avila was the venue of our dreams! Obviously it is a gorgeous location with fabulous weather but working with the team there was very easy.
  We are from the central valley and have been going to Avila for weekend getaways for a long time. We always knew we would love to get married in the area but did not think that the Golf Resort would be affordable, or available (we planned everything in about 6 months). But it was and we are so happy we went with the Golf Resort. Half way through our planning the person who got us started left for another job opportunity and we were very worried it wouldn't be as smooth with a new person, but Lacee was amazing. She picked up exactly where he left off, answered all questions/emails promptly and was able to get us everything we needed. The day of our wedding the guys decided they wanted to get dressed at the venue and Lacee made it happen and even had my husbands favorite beer waiting for him. The bridal area was stocked with comfy couches, mirrors and most importantly champagne. What really made this venue above and beyond were those little touches. When my husband went to the bar for the first time the bartender knew exactly who he was and had more of his favorite beer waiting, which we thought wasn't even going to be available. Can't say enough good things, we loved it!

  We had the wedding of our dreams at Avila Beach Golf Resort. Lacee Nordstrom was a gem; she worked both with the bride/groom (our son and his fiance) and ourselves to make sure all our needs were met, made some very helpful suggestions, and was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns. The venue offered everything we needed to make it a perfect day. I'd highly recommend the Avila Beach Golf Resort to anyone planning a special event. Ask for Lacee to make the experience a dream!

  They were Great!

  ABGR was a lovely venue for my wedding. The team there was very responsive, answered questions and followed up on any concerns I had in a timely manner. The day of went 100% smooth. I'd definitely recommend working with them.
