  Elizabeth and her team were a pleasure to work with and made the stress of wedding planning much lighter. I didn't know where to start and I had so many different ideas but from our first conversation I was put at ease. She was organized and always there to answer my questions, no mater how many or how late it was. She worked with me and made sure I was happy while keeping my spending within the budget. She really went above and beyond to make sure everything went well on my special day from start to finish. My wedding day was beautiful and a success and I highly recommend Blissfully Yours!

  Where do I begin? I contacted Verlonda from a recommendation of a coworker after a horrible experience with a previously hired planner. She was very responsive and attentive to my every need and concern, no matter how crazy it may have sounded. She was professional and creative and very resourceful. My fiance and I had very little time with our busy work schedules but Verlonda and her staff were exceptional, they scheduled and attended vendor meetings on our behalf, reviewed our contracts and answered every question from our vendors, family, guests and wedding party. She made sure that the day was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Everything that we wanted and never thought we could afford. I will definitely be calling Verlonda for our anniversary parties, childrens parties, birthday parties and any other party.

  I hired Blissfully Yours to simply set up the reception hall for a 50th Anniversary. I needed her for much much more as time went on. She was so resourceful and innovative. I was completely pleased with the outcome of the event. She has a very calming personality which is what every person planning an event needs. Verlonda went over and beyond the call of duty. Her prices are fair. We will definitely use Blissfully Yours again. Our guest were taken care of by Blissfully Yours and we were able to completely relax and enjoy our 50th Anniversary Celebration!

  I have been very hesitant about writing this review for so many reasons but I don't want another bride to book Verlonda and have to deal with what I've had to deal with. I'm going to try to sum this up the best way I can because I want any future brides to know what they would be getting into. On the day of my wedding she promised me she would have a team with her to help and she was the only one that showed up. Because of this, some big things never got done, i.e; champagne was never poured for the toast, the timeline of my reception was never followed, plus a lot of minor details went wrong. When I first booked her she was great and always answered me back. Then about 3 months before my wedding (April 2018) I would contact her with questions and wedding info and she would not answer me at all. It was very hard to get ahold of her or get her to respond back to me. She offered no explanation for this and never sincerely apologized. When it was 1 month before my wedding we had planned to meet with another vendor at my venue to go over everything for the day of the wedding and make a mock table so she would know what I wanted everything to look like. About a week before we had planned to meet up, I contacted her to confirm and she would not respond back to me. I tried to confirm with her for about 3 days, by email, phone and text, but heard nothing back. When I finally got an answer from her (on another phone) she told me the reason for not answering was “bc she has not been bringing her phone with her and it (my messages) was hit or miss". REALLY?! On the day we met at the venue she was late (20min), had no assistants with her and forgot one of the main items for all the tables. I had been having many many problems with her even up until the day before the wedding because she was not helping me with very important wedding things and I just could not rely on her at all.   On the wedding day, one of my vendors could not set up the table centerpieces and flowers because Verlonda did not complete her job in a timely manner. I had also made her a chart with pictures of the entire decor set up for the wedding day so it would be easy for her and she did not do any of it correctly (another thing that could have gone smoothly had she had her assistants). After our wedding day I remember my bridal party coming up to me and telling me that what we had planned for decor and setup was all wrong and I was just so annoyed because I could not have made it more easy for her and she still messed it up. When going over fine details she would never correct her mistakes (table charts, ceremony order/lineup) and often emailed the vendors the wrong charts (which I had to then correct). To this day, weeks after my wedding, I’m still having issues with her. She has not returned some items that I bought for the wedding and I have had to contact her multiple times about mailing these items to me. We talked about who gets to keep what pieces of décor after the wedding, I have it in writing, and she has still not held up her end of the deal. I hate to leave a review like this and, trust me, I've thought about this a lot, but I don't want another bride to have to deal with anything like this for their special day. No coordinator or planner should ever treat his or her bride and groom this way. They are hired to make the wedding process go smoothly, not make it harder and more stressful! So trust me when I say this, please.. Don't book her; she will have you pulling your hair out.
