  5 star venue!

  We had our wedding ceremony in Foster’s Pavilion at the Boston Harbor Hotel. It was a beautiful spot for a wedding ceremony and they worked with us to accommodate our large guest count. Amanda from the events team did an incredible job at making sure the day of the wedding ran smoothly!! Would definitely recommend having an event at BHH

  Wedding at Boston Harbor Hotel

  We had our wedding at BHH, and we could not recommend it enough. The location, food, and staff were all world-class, but we’d like to call special attention to Ted Daniels, who was the wedding coordinator at the hotel.
  
  Ted was the consummate professional, and it was clear from our first contact. When we first reached out to him to ask for prices, he replied with a clear, concise, and fair contract within hours. After spending weeks wading through contract issues with our original location, working with BHH and Ted was a breath of fresh air.
  
  Things only got better as our experience continued. One thing we really valued about working with Ted was his ability to listen to our preferences, clearly explain what BHH could (and could not) do, and make thoughtful suggestions based on his decades of experience in the industry. It was our first time planning a wedding, and Ted helped us understand the pros and cons of our options. His clear communication and *serious* attention to detail were a huge — planning is much less stressful when you know you have someone you can rely on.
  
  One unexpected positive experience: BHH can also help you select vendors who have a relationship with the hotel. We didn’t think this would really matter, but several of our vendors that we met through BHH made a point that they wanted to do an especially good job because they valued their relationship with Ted.
  
  Finally, the day-of experience was perfect. Ted worked closely with our vendors and ensured everything ran seamlessly while we enjoyed time with our friends and family. The food was absolutely delicious, the Wharf Room was stunning, and our friends and family had a great time.
  
  TL;DR: You cannot make a better pick than working with the Boston Harbor Hotel and Ted Daniels.

  Boston Harbor Hotel is the perfect venue for a Boston wedding!

  The Boston Harbor Hotel made my wedding day dream come true! Picking a venue is probably the most difficult decision when it comes to planning a wedding. If you are considering the Boston Harbor Hotel, do not look elsewhere. Ted Daniels, is amazing! He is super responsive, considerate, and he executed our wedding day in the most perfect way I could have imagined! From the tasting, to the menu options, and picking out the chairs and linens – Ted will be there to guide you through the process. Ted understands every intricate detail and will make your wedding day dream come true. I had mentioned to Ted I really loved swiss dot and that was arranged for on my cake! He understands how stressful weddings can be to plan and does his best to arrange and accommodate for anything. If you choose to have your wedding day at the Boston Harbor Hotel it will be the best decision of your life and you will not regret it. I am so lucky to call the Boston Harbor Hotel my wedding venue!

  Just perfection.

  When we decided to downsize our initially larger, traditional wedding to a 10 guest affair (thanks to covid-19) it was important to us that we maintain a unique, classic, and a once in a lifetime atmosphere. And we could not imagine a better experience than the one we had at the the presidential suite at the Boston Harbor Hotel! Every aspect of our experience, from the planning process through the entire event, was absolutely perfect. The catering manager, Ted, made booking and planning a breeze. He helped guide decisions from food to room arrangements, which took all the stress out of the wedding planning process and allowed us to just sit back and enjoy (something we very much appreciated after such a stressful un-planning process of the first, larger wedding). Once we checked in, the staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and anticipated/created details that we hadn't even imagined! They went above and beyond - even helping to decorate the space without us asking (creating an adorable bar set up with a sign that my cousin had gifted and placing additional flowers that had been leftover from the cake in display bowls around the room)! The chef and housekeeping managers regularly checked in with us throughout our stay. The food was delicious and we had multiple guests comment that it was some of the best food they have ever had (the truffle tater tots were SUCH a hit!) Between the stunning backdrop of the suite itself, the harbor views, the service that I wish I could rate more than 5 stars, and the quality of the food, we could not give a strong enough recommendation for the Boston Harbor Hotel. We only wish we could have stayed a few more nights!!
  
  P.S. The technology set up made streaming our event so easy. We simply set up a laptop the face the aisle that was DIYed by our friends and the wifi was never an issue (and we were out on the balcony!). We also recorded the event on an ipad staged on a tripod. The bluetooth speakers throughout the suite made it easy to stream music before the ceremony and for the party after!
  
  P.P.S. the master suite's bathroom and dressing area deserves it's own 5 star review!

  Micro-Wedding Success!

  My husband and I hosted our "micro-wedding" at the BHH. Their service was exceptional. Ted was accommodating and responsive from our very first meeting. Andrea did an outstanding job coordinating room reservations for our guests.
  
  On the day of the wedding, you would have thought we were the only people staying at the hotel. If we needed something, it was immediately delivered to our hotel rooms. Ted coordinated with all of our vendors, so they knew where to go, when to arrive, etc. We rented a trolley and the concierge staff made sure all of our snacks and beverages made it on and off the trolley.
  
  The food was incredible. The menu was totally customizable and putting a menu together during a pandemic is not the easiest task. Ted was there to help give us ideas. We ended up with plated appetizers, a choice of soup and salad, a choice of entrees, ice cream sandwich sliders for dessert along with red velvet cake (I am a total sweets person and the cake was absolutely delicious).
  
  The ceremony and reception were both conducted at the hotel. The view is breathtaking, no matter what room you are in at the hotel. The staff truly helped everything flow perfectly. There was no down time and our guests are still raving about how much fun they had.

  Wedding of Our Dreams

  We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Ted Daniels and the wonderful team at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Our original wedding had to be rescheduled three times due to COVID-19, and throughout this process, Ted handled our wedding with absolute professionalism. We reconfigured our wedding to a smaller size of 45 people, and we moved it to the Meritage, but it was still an amazing evening that we will not forget. Thank you!

  We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Ted Daniels and the wonderful team at the Boston Harbor Hotel.   A Magnificent Venue - an exceptional events team

  Mr. Ted Daniels was an exceptional Catering Manager.
  
  We owe the success of our event on September 28th at The Boston Harbor Hotel – the wedding of our son and son-in-law – largely to his creativity, knowledge, and ability to plan and execute a formal, complex event.
  
  I’ve had the opportunity to work over the last 20+ years with many wonderful and experienced Catering Directors - for both personal and corporate events. Ted is by far the best and most capable that I have worked with.
  
  Our wedding team – I (as the mother of one of the Grooms and the Event Planner/Manager), my son's in laws, the various outside vendors (florist, photographer, band, lighting expert, invitation company etc) greatly benefited by his ability to create, plan and execute. There was no requirement or desired outcome that could not be met.
  
  My son and son-in-law's wedding was a dream come true. There were absolutely no issues. Many of our guests have contacted me to convey that the wedding was beautiful, wonderful and perfectly carried out. They all remarked that The Boston Harbor Hotel is a gorgeous venue.

  I could not have dreamed of a better venue.

  It’s impossible to capture in a single review just how outstanding our wedding experience was at Boston Harbor Hotel. Michael Boivin and his catering team exceeded expectations over and over and over again, and I could not be more grateful for their hard work, efficiency, and talent. They made us feel like our wedding day was the most important event of the year and that energy translated into one giant, happy celebration!
  
  Following our church ceremony, we had cocktail hour along the Harborwalk, a reception in the Wharf Room until midnight, and ended with Karaoke after party in the Foster’s room. The venue location speaks for itself – the views of the harbor are breathtaking – but it is the service and delicious food that really make this venue “beyond compare.” Countless guests have told me that it was the most delicious wedding food that they ever had (people were losing it over the fried scallops at cocktail hour) and everyone’s drinks remained full throughout the night. The staff met all of the needs of our 209 guests, including those that had very specific dietary restrictions or allergies. They also worked with us to make special requests possible – like two flavored wedding cake and cava instead of champagne.
  
  Michael Boivin is a host in himself. We did not have a wedding planner, which made him the most critical contact of our entire planning process. This was the first wedding for both our families, so we appreciated his expertise and honest opinion throughout. He recommended countless vendors that had successfully worked at BHH before, responded to email instantly, and kept everything running on schedule on the big day. From our initial walkthrough to the tasting to the wedding day, he made sure all our questions were answered and our needs were met. An absolute delight to work with.
  
  Thank you to Michael and the entire BHH team for the perfect wedding!! I could not have dreamed it better.

  Dreams Do Come True

  Can't say enough about my daughters wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Ted Daniels and his team made it a night we will never forget.Every request we made was delivered. The food was absolutely delicious everything was hot and served exactly as specified. Ted's recommendations turned out to be the highlights of the night. The New England station during the cocktail reception and the ice cream station for dessert were huge hits that our guests are still talking about. Service was outstanding led by the room captain Daniel, it was the best I have ever experienced anywhere.
  We heard over and over again how the service was impeccable . The entire team catered to our guests every wish and request. Georgia who handled our room block was outstanding and went over and above to make our guests happy. The team at valet as well as concierge and housekeeping were all fantastic. We felt like VIPS for the entire weekend . We wish we could do it all again!!! It was a night we will never forget.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner, welcome cocktails, ceremony & reception and brunch at the hotel. All of our guests were from out of town and we wanted to ensure that everything was taken care of for the entire weekend. The Boston Harbor Hotel was the most perfect venue for our wedding, from the guest accommodations and event venues to the staff and food (oh yeah and THE VIEW!!! ☺ ) To say I was a nervous bride is an understatement but Michael and his team was so easy to work with, they could not have put me more at ease.
  
  The different event venues offered at BHH are unparalleled, each with their own unique style and view of the Boston Harbor. We hosted our ceremony and reception in the Wharf room, which meant that the staff had to flip the entire room during our one-hour cocktail party. I continue to hear from guests about how impressed they were with the absolutely FLAWLESS transitions from one location to the other.
  
  The food at BHH was also top notch. Since we had so many events at the hotel, we literally went though every item on the menu. Michael and his team set up a private area for my husband and I to take a break after the ceremony and try all of appetizers our guests were having at the cocktail party. I was always told that on your wedding day you won’t be able to eat any of the food, this was not true at all! The food was so good that I ended up trying a little bit of everything. We had steak and lobster for our wedding dinner, which was perfectly cooked for all of our 180 + guests and I continue to receive praises from guests about the Peking duck carving station at our rehearsal dinner.
  
  We are looking forward to returning to BHH for our anniversary!

  A Perfect Wedding Experience!

We knew from prior visits that the setting is beautiful, the service is top-notch, and the food is beyond compare. Upon deciding to book the BHH for our wedding, our high expectations for this venue were well surpassed!
  
  Our experience began with Michael Boivin, our wedding coordinator. Michael was with us from our first contact with the BHH through the wedding evening, even taking care to deliver my heirloom veil safely to our room. This small detail exemplifies the service at the BHH. Michael is well known throughout the Boston wedding industry as the best in the business! On top of everything he coordinated within the BHH, he was able to put us in contact with high-quality vendors for services including flowers, lighting, etc., which was immeasurably helpful. From the second you pull up to the hotel until the moment you leave, you are greeted by the friendly faces of employees who want you to have an amazing experience. Michael Boivin, Jennifer Lammers, Laura Furfaro, and everyone we worked with consistently went above and beyond to make our dream day a reality.

  For a fantastic meal, however, you need go no further than the BHH itself. We wanted our wedding guests to have a delicious meal at our wedding. Months later, we are still hearing from friends and family that this was not only the best wedding meal they have eaten, but one of the best meals they've ever had in general! The wedding menus are filled with so many mouth-watering options that it was difficult to choose just a few for our menu! We were pleased to find flexibility in the menu options as well – unlike other venues we had toured.

  Our wedding was tiny, compared to the grand events this hotel usually hosts, but every single staff person at the Boston Harbor Hotel provided outstanding service, treating us as if our wedding was their number one priority and we were distinguished guests.
  
  Our wedding coordinator, Ted, and his assistant José each surpassed excellence in the care and attention they provided us on the day of our wedding. They were enthusiastic, cheerful, calm and extraordinarily helpful to us, making our ceremony a beautiful, intimate event. Our servers were polished, attentive and just absolutely lovely. Not one person's glass ever reached half-empty. They were kind and a true pleasure to have at the event.
  
  On the day prior, of, and after the wedding, we were in awe of the deft work and friendliness of the every one of the doormen, valets and attendants who transported plants and decorations for us after a mishap with the florist. There was a miscommunication with our florist (who had left for vacation) and not all of the flowers and plants were delivered; I was frantic but, because of their expertise in these matters, Ted and José saved the day. We couldn't have been surrounded by a better team of people on our wedding day. Our wedding party stayed at the hotel for our wedding weekend. Everyone raved about every aspect--from food to service, to amenities, during the entire stay. Staff even found a beloved necklace our daughter had lost.   We were married at the Boston harbor on Friday in the wharf room and it was the most amazing experience of our lives. Michael was the best wedding coordinator and we went with all his suggestions for vendors (who were perfect). We had the most amazing day with every detail perfect: food was amazing, room was gorgeous, and michaels suggestions for the wedding made parts of it so unique and special. The staff who worked the wedding were so friendly and attentive. Thank you for the most amazing experience for us and our guests !

  I chose the Atlantic Room for our wedding in October. It was absolutely fantastic!
  
  -The food was excellent!! Seriously, it was the best food I've had at a wedding.
  -The room was so elegant.
  -Cortney was the Catering Manager and she coordinated everything. I think there was a point where I emailed her everyday and she was so helpful and responsive.
  -Everything was so smooth. We did not hire a Wedding Planner and I am glad that we didn't because it would have been a waste of money. The BHH took care of everything and were very organized.
  -The hotel is gorgeous. The view is gorgeous.
  
  We had a wonderful wedding and we are so glad that we chose the BHH for our venue! I highly recommend the BHH to someone who is looking for an elegant venue.

  We were lucky to get married in the Wharf Room at the Boston Harbor Hotel in July of 2015. The hotel and facilities are of course nothing but first class and without question the best in Boston. The hotel staff was all extremely polite, professional and they did everything possible to make our special day magical. The food was out of this world for a wedding and it was honestly the best fish (sea bass) I have ever eaten. The hotel and water front location is of course incredible but the best part about booking your wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel is that you may have the opportunity to work with Michael Boivin. From the minute we met Michael we knew we made the right decision to book at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Michael put us at ease right away and professionally guided us through the planning of our wedding every step of the way. Michael was easy to work with, he always called you back the same day and he was very detailed oriented. Michael has done so many weddings, that it seems like there was nothing he has not seen or been a part of. He steered us into many great decisions and gently steered us away from making bad ones. Once we were there for the weekend - we did not have to ask for a single thing! They pretty much anticipated every need or want we had! Our guests are still talking about what an amazing wedding we had! The venue itself is fabulous - what's not to love about a beautiful hotel on the waterfront?!?!!? Where some venues take that for granted - the BHH truly goes above and beyond in making the day extra special for you and your guests. My husband and I keep talking about wanting to come up with an excuse to throw another event at the BHH because it was that much fun! We already told them to hold our room for our anniversary every year because we want to remember this day for the rest of our lives. Our guests all told us that it was pretty much the best hotel they've ever stayed at and for the guests with children, they were incredibly sweet - sending cookies and helping the out of town guests find baby sitters. I could go on and on about how special the BHH us but if you are looking for a venue that will take the stress off of you - look no further. They are pros and even for the most stressed out bride - you can be assured they will make your wedding a night to remember!

Not only is the property absolutely gorgeous, but the entire staff is so helpful, attentive, and goes over the top to make you feel so incredibly special and at ease throughout the whole wedding process. We could not have felt more special and confident in the hands we were in at Boston Harbor - and this is LARGELY to due with Michael Boivin - the most amazing wedding coordinator you could ask for. From the very beginning, Michael was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, he was our absolute wedding guru. Michael has impeccable taste and is a true pleasure to work with. He was so helpful in answering all my questions (and my family's questions) throughout the entire process. Michael was an amazing partner in planning an event that surpassed my (already high) expectations, and the hotel -- from the service to the food and beyond -- was outstanding. We chose the Wharf Room for our wedding reception in May 2014. The setting was beautiful and a blank canvas for our personal style, and the service and attention to detail from the staff was impeccable. We loved every moment of it.

  How do you not give the BHH 5 stars? This is absolutely a dream venue for a fairy-tale wedding. Working with Michael put a smile on my face from planning to the party - such a warm, smart, witty, talented person that you want by your side to guide you through the ups and downs of the wedding journey! While professionalism and service are something you may come to expect at the BHH, EVERYONE there somehow finds a way to surpass your expectations. From housekeeping, to valet, to the bellmen, to the sales and catering team, to front desk, etc. it's A++ service. When my grandfather was really having a hard time at the reception - they found him earplugs that made the world of a difference in his night.   How do you not give the BHH 5 stars? This is absolutely a dream venue for a fairy-tale wedding. Working with Michael put a smile on my face from planning to the party - such a warm, smart, witty, talented person that you want by your side to guide you through the ups and downs of the wedding journey! While professionalism and service are something you may come to expect at the BHH, EVERYONE there somehow finds a way to surpass your expectations. From housekeeping, to valet, to the bellmen, to the sales and catering team, to front desk, etc. it's A++ service. When my grandfather was really having a hard time at the reception - they found him earplugs that made the world of a difference in his night.
