Multiple people approached me at our engagement party & said the food we served was THE BEST they had EVER had at an event!! Charlie Palmer Steak is known to have amazing food but their catering was just as extraordinary! It was delicious and I wish I could go back in time and eat more! I cannot say enough about how high quality the food was and working with the Charlie Palmer team was awesome! They let me think outside the box and create a unique menu with food Chris and I love! See the photos I posted for some of the AMAZING hors d’oeurves, mains, & desserts we served. Also, their bar is FAB!

Our experience at Charlie Palmer for our daughters wedding was exceptional. Many guests commented on the delicious food, excellent service and beautiful setting. Tracy our event manager was friendly and professional. I highly recommend
this venue. We had 115 guests and there was ample room for dancing. The guests loved being so close to the Capitol. We wanted a wedding with real DC flavor and the location and service provided just that. The restaurant was a beautiful setting!

I chose Charlie Palmer for my rehearsal dinner and out-of-town-guest cocktail party and couldn't have picked a more perfect venue. Tracy was so wonderful to work with; she was extremely responsive (I was shocked about how quickly she responded to several of my emails) and even allowed us to come in to taste some of the house wines. The rehearsal dinner was fantastic! We loved the beef filet and sides, and the service was perfect. We transitioned to a cocktail party in the room next door, which was also perfect. The room was fantastic, and our guests had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Tracy Kinnahan and Charlie Palmer DC for anyone looking for an outstanding venue for a special occasion. We cannot wait to go back!

Tracy and the team at Charlie Palmer continually went above and beyond for our wedding. Their responsiveness, flexibility and hospitality made it such an easy process from start to end. The day of the wedding was perfect the view is really to die for. SO many of our guests were awe struck with how close we were to the Capitol. If you want the perfect venue for a quintessential D.C. wedding with the top notch staff to match, I would highly recommend Charlie Palmer.

Our wedding reception at Charlie Palmer Steak was exactly what we had hoped for. Tracy Kinnahan was a dream to work with, coordinating seamlessly with my florist, DJ, cake maker, and wedding coordinator. More importantly, she was always incredibly available, responsive, and engaged in our personal communications by phone and email. We hosted about 100 guests for pre-dinner cocktails in one of the private dining rooms and a plated dinner in the main dining room -- there was more than enough space for everyone plus a substantial dance floor and bar area. The interior was perfect for us (comfy chairs and lots of natural light were two of our venue requirements) and you just can't beat the view onto the Capitol grounds in late summer. We were even able to get some photos with that iconic rooftop view. Our guests loved the quintessential D.C. feel, the waitstaff - especially chief bartender Lamar - was professional and fun, and we all still reminisce about the delicious food (our third requirement)!! We loved our experience so much that we recently returned for our first wedding anniversary. We really felt that Tracy, Lamar, and all at CPS were happy to share in our day with us, and that is priceless. This is a wonderful venue if you are looking for a classic, comfortable space with outstanding service from start to finish. Highest recommendations from us!

This is an amazing venue. The view is outstanding, the quality of the services was phenomenal and the food was great, too. We looked all over at venues and planned this wedding from Dallas. Tracy Kinnahan made planning this wedding a very stress-free event. She was very accommodating and really paid attention to what we wanted to have happen on the big day. There was not one problem the day of, and I give Tracy a lot of credit for that! She even lined the aisles with our centerpieces, which was a great touch. I can't say enough great things about her and the venue. We loved our big day!
