Professional, Organized, and Amazing!
We're so thankful to have had Michelle from Coastal Celebrations as our wedding coordinator. We were planning the wedding from out of town, which has the potential to be a stressful process, but she made sure every detail and every second of our timeline was perfect. Thanks to her careful planning and thoughtful suggestions, everything on our day was flawless. As a bride, I had not one worry during the day that everything was going according to plan, and that everyone was where they needed to be - it really allowed me to be in the moment. I don't know how she did it, but Michelle seemed to be everywhere at once and was always cool, calm, and collected. Her lovely assistant Anna was also so helpful in taking care of all of our gifts (and drink needs!) throughout the night. I cannot recommend Coastal Celebrations enough. Thank you ladies!We're so thankful to have had Michelle from Coastal Celebrations as our wedding coordinator. The one and only Lucy Yelton
My and my now husband are from Gainesville, FL but really love St. Augustine. With living a couples hours away and having busy schedules, we knew we needed a wedding planner from St. Augustine. Coastal Celebrations did not disappoint!! Lucy Yelton was AMAZING!!! She was there from the very start until the very end. With me being indecisive, she would always help me sort out my thoughts or give her thoughts (which I really appreciated). She was a key person as to why our wedding was more than what we imagined. She had everything covered and was amazing at communicating. I would highly recommend Coastal Celebrations, especially Lucy. It really takes a special person to do this job. So thankful for our coordinator
I don't know what we would have done without Coastal Celebrations and our coordinator. Our venue required us to have a coordinator, and we're so thankful they did! We worked with Emma and she was incredible, beyond words really. We chose to do the package that allowed us to start with with Coastal three months prior to the wedding, and she started to take over right at the 90 day mark. She was contacting our vendors for us and created the most helpful timeline. She was also fun to work with and made the whole wedding planning process so much less stressful. I highly recommend their services. Thank you Emma!I don't know what we would have done without Coastal Celebrations and our coordinator. I had the honor of attending the union of my son and daughter-in-law(Malik and Tiffany Johnson) in which Emma Gruber was the wedding planner. Emma was AMAZING! It was a such pleasure to work with Emma . Emma saw this priceless beautiful moment through which has given my entire a family a moment to remember and happy to be a part of. I was truly impressed with Emma’s professionalism as well as her engagement with bride , groom, wedding party and guests. I insisted on taking a photo with Emma to show everyone who was responsible for making this day so memorable. The wedding coordination and decor was IMPECCABLE!!! Emma = MVP !
100% recommend! Our August wedding at Treasury on the Plaza turned out way better than expected, due to our wedding coordinator from Coastal Celebrations, Emma. Once we began working together months prior to the day, I could feel the stress and pressure removed. Emma was AMAZING and it was absolutely worth it. On top of how seamless she made this process and the wedding day itself, she was 100% genuine. Our families even loved her, some wanting to take pictures with her. Multiple family members raved about "Emma from the wedding". During the planning process she was very organized, kept me honest on her timeline and we both communicated with each other A LOT to get things done, which is what eased my nerves. Her Google-shared timeline made it easy for us to make any changes and stay on top of all vendors, day-of timing, decor, ceremony details, etc. She handled the communications with the vendors, and knew what to ask and what to request when I didn't think of it. She was funny and caring, however the day of the wedding........ she MEANT BUSINESS! And I LOVED IT!!! So much was going on for me but she was assertive with the timeline, vendors, and even the wedding party. She got things done efficiently when my thought process wasn't there since I don't have weddings daily. And each time I felt myself getting overwhelmed throughout the day, there she is with my wine and my husband's drink before she continues coordinating the rest of the night. We could not have had the wedding of our dreams without Emma Betz and her INCREDIBLE team at Coastal Celebrations. From start to finish, Emma was professional, patient, creative, and so much fun to work with. Emma's detailed coordination of the timeline, vendors, and logistics allowed my husband and I to be fully present and truly enjoy each moment as we had nothing to worry about. Lightner Wedding
We had the pleasure of working with Lindsay and her amazing team for my daughter's wedding at the Lightner Museum. We are from out of town and I'm not gifted with organization and event planning skills so when I say we couldn't have managed without Coastal Celebrations-I am not kidding!
Lindsay was so professional, organized and efficient and kept on top of all the details that made the wedding perfect.
Coastal Celebrations took the worry and stress out of the occasion and we were able to celebrate and enjoy the wedding!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Coastal Celebrations and Emma Betz, specifically! They made our day go off without a hitch! Emma really helped me keep my head together during the entire planning process! Emma was amazing to work with. From streamlining the planning process for us and keeping us focused on the necessary tasks to literally being on her knees the day of our wedding cleaning mud off of my dress after our pictures were taken, she was our guardian angel!! She was extremely responsive to all calls, texts, and emails and had such a calming way about her. Truly all of the Coastal Celebrations women that worked with us exhibited extreme professionalism, efficiency, and attentiveness to us and the details! Emma specifically felt like family by the time our big day came!! We cannot recommend Emma and Coastal Celebrations enough! Do not walk, run to coastal celebrations!
Lucy + team absolutely knocked it out of the park!!!!!! From the beginning to execution day of, A VISION CAME TO LIFE 100% AND BEYOND!! Lucy freaking rocked! Very professional, well trained and organized! She put me back in line when I started going rogue on the timeline with wanting ALL THE THINGS months prior and also being somewhat of a planner myself kept me in my place while still making sure my vision would be realized, kept our entire wedding party on schedule day of and meticulously made sure my fairy tell wedding dreams came true. She also ALDREADY knew every single vendor of mine! These guys are the real deal and I truly enjoyed getting to become friends with Lucy! : )Lucy + team absolutely knocked it out of the park!!!!!! From the beginning to execution day of, A VISION CAME TO LIFE 100% AND BEYOND!! Lucy freaking rocked! Very professional, well trained and organized! 10/10 Would Recommend; Best Wedding Planners!
We were required to get a day-of wedding planner at our venue, but honestly, even if we weren't required to, we would highly, highly recommend hiring Coastal Celebrations. We are both very Type A planner types, and truly appreciated having Michelle and her team for day-of wedding coordination. Everything went by so smoothly and they made sure everything kept on schedule without making me feel like we were on a schedule! In the leadup to the wedding Michelle was super helpful and organized, and thinking of all the little details. She was also incredibly responsive, especially with all of my very tiny, random logistical questions. We truly appreciated all their hard work and help not just the day of, but in the months before the wedding. Highly recommend!!
**My only tiiiiiny note is that they do this incredibly sweet thing in packing up all your stuff in the getting ready room and dropping it off at the hotel after the wedding. While I truly appreciated it, I think I would have preferred to have been given the option to just leave it all there and sort it out ourselves. I think some things got lost in the shuffle (as they naturally would in the chaos of a wedding). This of course, is just my own personal preference being extremely Type A, but I think being given the option/or letting know ahead of time would be helpful!We were required to get a day-of wedding planner at our venue, but honestly, even if we weren't required to, we would highly, highly recommend hiring Coastal Celebrations. The best coordination team!
I cannot recommend enough hiring a wedding coordinator and if you’re getting married in St. Augustine, without a doubt, Coastal Celebrations. 90 day coordination came with our package when booking the Lightner as our venue, we were assigned Michelle as our coordinator and not sure how we got so lucky! From almost immediately following signing for our venue, Michelle made it a point to meet with us, get to know us, and all of the details that were going into making our wedding day perfect. I can’t count the number of times when speaking to Michelle I said, oh you’re handling that?! And was able to cross things off my list to not have to worry about. From ensuring our vendors arrived and set up on time to corralling our crazy families to making sure all of our things were in our hotel room before our wedding even ended, Michelle, Emma and Lucy made things look and feel effortless! Lindsay & her team at Coastal Celebrations were literally the best thing that happened to my wedding day and the entire planning process! Not only is she extremely organized and on top of every detail, she is so kind and truly makes you feel like your day is the most important thing. We did the ‘day of’ package and worked together for the last 90 days of the planning process. From the moment we started working together she handled everything and took so much stress out of my life. Anytime I thought of something that had to be done, she had already done it! Everything was PERFECT
Michelle at Coastal Celebrations did an AMAZING job helping me coordinate my wedding from out of state. She was responsive at all times and even helped me plan my nail appointment (definitely needed recommendations!). She was truly the perfect fit for me... calm but confident in controlling the day. Her day-of assistants were always there for anything we needed from handing us a new drink to even wiping the sand off of my feet after pictures (seriously). They have great options for additional decorations at cheap prices which helped us add some final decor such as plate chargers and a beautiful cake stand.
I am so thankful that Coastal Celebrations was there to help my day run as smoothly as possible. I recommend them to anyone looking for full-service or day-of wedding planners. Coastal Celebrations is the best in the business
This review is a LONG time coming, but after a whirlwind of a year, I'm finally sitting down to write one of the most well-deserved rounds of applause from our day. From the moment first spoke with Lindsay Ohlin over the phone, I immediately understood why she came so highly recommended. She got right down to business, laid out her credentials, and immediately took us through do's and don'ts, her recommendations from experience and aligned her thoughts with our desires. Throughout the process Lindsay was excellent to work with. She kept us organized, realistic and still managed to make every dream a reality, all while dealing with two very strong-willed women from Miami (my mother and I) and a groom who was desperately trying to help us keep an eye on budget. Our wedding day really proved why we were so fortunate to have hired Lindsay and her team. The entire day went incredibly smoothly, and as a bride, I felt relaxed and taken care of while I floated from task to task, straight through to walking down the aisle. Brides to be, the best advice I can give is... don't skimp on a wedding coordinator. Whether going for a full-blown planner, hiring on a consulting basis, or booking a day-of coordinator, spring for the best. And, Coastal Celebrations -- Lindsay Ohlin and her fantastic team -- are THE BEST, and they're worth every penny. They are experts in helping to pair you with the right vendors and coordinating the logistics with your venue. They'll help you think of logistical considerations for your "run of show" that you would have otherwise never thought of. They will be there to calm you, keep crazy family members at bay, wrangle your girls when they need wrangling (trust me... I had 16), and get you down the aisle looking beautiful, polished and perfect. Incredible Wedding Coordination
Lindsay and the Coastal Celebrations team were my day-of wedding coordinators for my wedding at the Treasury on the Plaza on November 22. The team did an incredible job and I cannot recommend them enough. Personally, we went with their day-of coordination package but Coastal Celebrations offers many different levels of coordinating to accommodate all needs. Even though we did day-of coordinating, Lindsay and her team start from 90 days out and provide so much guidance that helped us and our families during the planning process that lead to a stress-free wedding day! Lindsay is a wealth of knowledge and is the most helpful and efficient person. Her team is also very knowledgeable and on top of all details in order to make sure all is done with perfection! I cannot say but amazing things about the Coastal Celebrations team and all that they did in order to make our wedding day the most perfect day and better than we could have ever imagined!Lindsay and the Coastal Celebrations team were my day-of wedding coordinators for my wedding at the Treasury on the Plaza on November 22. Emma creates magic! (Welcome Party review)
When wedding planning begin, my husband :) and I initially thought our rehearsal dinner would be more of an intimate gathering for our bridal party and immediate family. As the planning continued, this quickly turned into a welcome party for all guests and let's just say I was in over my head. We were already working with Coastal Celebrations at the time to plan our wedding day and Lindsay suggested we work with one of her team members on planning this party. The absolute best you can get
When searching for a wedding planner, I read an endless number of reviews, and I always came back to Coastal Celebrations because I quickly realized that brides absolutely could not say enough good things about Lindsay and her team. Fast forward to now, I can confirm that every single one of those 5 star reviews was well deserved. Lindsay runs a tight ship, and it shows. She is organized, thoughtful, kind, fun, and above all she demonstrates the highest level of professionalism. She has a really great relationship with other vendors in St. Augustine, which makes the entire process that much smoother, and she is able to help you pick the vendors who are right for you. I was a bride who didn’t really know what she wanted, and because of that I wasn’t able to give many details but she still somehow pulled off the most perfect wedding day I could ever even imagine. Her vision is unparalleled and frankly she’s just insanely good at what she does. She is always two steps ahead of every situation and I never had to worry about anything because I knew she was able to handle it. On top of that, as a Covid bride, I encountered some particularly difficult challenges and she was there every step of the way to facilitate rescheduling and she helped me adapt to constantly changing circumstances. Our best decision
My gratitude for Lindsay and her team and the work they put in as my Day of Event Coordinator for my wedding on 11/13/2020 is beyond any words that I have. To say they went above and beyond any expectations that I had is an understatement. Coastal Celebrations was hands down the best decision we made concerning our wedding and I absolutely could not have made it through being a Covid bride without Lindsay and her team. She knows literally every vendor in town and in Jacksonville and worked seamlessly with everyone else that we had contracted for the wedding. Her attentiveness and focus on myself and my groom throughout the process kept us calm and joyful – and she handled everything on our big day so that my groom and my family and myself could just relax and enjoy without having to worry about details. I just showed up, got pretty, and got married and Lindsay’s team handled the rest. THE Coordinator for St. Augustine!
I am so thankful that decided to hire Lindsay and her team for my wedding at the Lightner Museum. Lindsay is extremely knowledgeable of the local area, other vendors to work with, and how to make our wedding vision become reality. I cannot even imagine our wedding and reception going off without a hitch if I did not have Coastal Celebrations by our side step by step. I was in awe at the amount of attention to detail the team had with almost minute to minute planning to make our wedding day seamless and unforgettable. She was super responsive to any questions or concerns we had and was on point and readily available for our vendor meetings as well as venue walk through. Awesome coordinator and team
Lindsay is very organized and professional. Easy to work with. She helped me plan the wedding in St. Augustine, Florida while I live across the country. My wedding was amazing! Thanks to Lindsay, her team and her work ethic to make my vision a reality. Everyone had a blast on my wedding day. She went above and beyond when I asked her to move our ceremony from indoors to outdoors in less than an hour and she made it happen! It was my dream wedding and I couldn't ask for a better wedding coordinator. I highly recommend her and coastal celebrations for doing an amazing job.Lindsay is very organized and professional. Coastal made our day!!
I can’t say enough good things about Michelle and her team. We were married at Hammock Dunes Club, Michelle was very familiar with the venue and staff there which made everything that much easier. Michelle helped me with so many of the details including printing and assembling favors which was so helpful as we came in from out of state. She also helped coordinate transportation for us and assisted with rentals from their sister company St. John’s Illuminations. I did not have to worry about a thing on our big day. I also received so many compliments from guests about how helpful Michelle was. I can’t imagine not using Coastal to coordinate a wedding.
