Excellent No Complaints At All (well maybe 1). The photographer wasn't that great i used Stacey Photography. Other than that they still deserve 5+ stars. I Love Them! Price is approx including room upgrade, complete wedding package, flight, and stay. My fiance and I are excited and can't wait for this day to come. Since day one of speaking to the representatives at Couples Swept Away, they have been a big help and letting us know what to expect and what will be done for us. Right we are hundreds of miles away but the help we have received so far makes us feel as if we are right next door. In the past four months we have spoken to Margaret and Tia over at the resort and we can only imagine how the expertise and professionalism of the other staff will be just off the example these ladies have shown to us. August 8th is around the corner and we can't wait. Thank you again in advance Margaret, Tia, and the Swept Away staff.My fiance and I are excited and can't wait for this day to come. This was the best vacation I have yet to take. Affordable, easy, great service, great food, great drinks, and all around gorgeous place. Prior to our reception in April, my husband and I had our destination wedding in March. This resort is AMAZING!!! Whether you go here for a destination wedding or your honeymoon, you cannot go wrong here. Everything from the location, the value, the professionalism, the on site wedding planner, on site photographer/videographer...I can go on and on. This resort went above and beyond anything I could've dreamed!Prior to our reception in April, my husband and I had our destination wedding in March. This resort is AMAZING!!! Whether you go here for a destination wedding or your honeymoon, you cannot go wrong here. Everything was perfect! We met with the wedding coordinator two days before our wedding to discuss the cake, bouquet, reservation details for dinner. Everything we requested was able to be done. I provided my wedding colors and let the coordinator put my bouquet together, it was beautiful.
Our wedding time was at 4pm and it started raining at 3:58! We just waited until the rained stopped and once it did we moved forward with the wedding at 5pm. I wasn't even stressed about the time change at all because the coordinator kept in good communication with me.
We used Diana Campbell for our photographer, she and her son Richard were wonderful! Went above and beyond our expectations.Everything was perfect! My husband and I were married on the beaches of Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica and the process was so incredibly easy and beautiful we could not be happier. We did all of the planning with an on site wedding coordinator the day after arriving. It took about an hour to choose flowers, the site, music, cake, and photography package. The best part is that everything was included in our honeymoon stay except the photographs and we chose to upgrade my bouquet. Everything was taken care of and it could not of been more beautiful. It was also very, very hot at 4pm in June and I absolutely recommend choosing a cooler month unless you have your heart set on a date like I did. I had my hair and nails done on site and they did a really wonderful job. For starters, I asked my husband to keep the honeymoon a complete surprise. When I found out we were going to Couples Swept Away in Negril, I was blown away! The staff was so kind & always smiling. They never let our room look messy, but rather, tidy all the time when we weren't there. On the beach, they never let us go thirsty! Their food was phenomenal, & their fitness center was the most intense workout facility I've ever seen--great for me!! I would love to go back. . . I'd also love to live there in luxury! :-DFor starters, I asked my husband to keep the honeymoon a complete surprise. When I found out we were going to Couples Swept Away in Negril, I was blown away! We had the pleasure of getting married at Couples Swept Away on April 21. We brought 22 of our closest friends and family members with us. After a year of planning and reading reviews and message board posts, we were able to experience CSA for ourselves. IT DID NOT DISSAPPOINT! To say we enjoyed ourselves would be an understatement. All of my high expectations were exceeded. The accommodations, activities, the staff, the food, that incredible beach and amazing sunset were worth every penny we spent.
Our wedding was just as I hoped it would be…intimate, romantic, beautiful and fun-filled. It truly was a dream comes true. The wedding coordinator executed my vision perfectly. We did a private reception dinner on the beach and it allowed everyone to enjoy the sunset while eating and celebrating. I reached out to a local makeup artist, Kimberly Patterson, to glam me and some of my guest. Kimberly was a pleasure to work with and made sure I looked my best on my big day. Our wedding day was captured in photos and video by Digital Memories Collection. Based on many stellar reviews, I decided to hire Digital Memories Collection and once again I was completely satisfied with their work. They arrived in plenty of time to capture moments of me getting ready before the wedding and ensured we had wonderful photos including the beauty Negril has to offer. We received our photos and video before we left to come home.
This trip was magical and couldn’t be duplicated if we tried. My husband and I look forward to returning to CSA one day.

We spent our honeymoon at Couples Swept Away. It was fabulous! The staff was amazing & treated us like royalty. The resort was quite large & spread out. Couples Swept Awat and Alysha made our wedding perfect. It was stress-free (unlike our upcoming reception for our family.) The one thing that is different, is the Jamaican "No Worries" attitide. I loved this because it kept us calm and collected. However, I could see how it could stress some folks out who are detail oriented, planners. For example, they didn't bring my bouquet until 2 minutes before the ceremony. I ended up texted my husband to tell him so he didn't think I got cold feet LOL! Otherwise, they were very helpful before and during the entire process and made us feel comfortable and welcome. They even made our wedding cake to accommodate my allergies! The flowers were beautiful, the set up was lovely. An FYI for potential beach weddings, there will still be people sun bathing around the area. They block it off, but you can't block off the entire beach. The garden is more secluded if you want that. We also had a small group of people watching and taking photos that we did not know. I didn't mind that because one of the people watching stopped us the next day and sent me the pictures. Overall, this is beautiful place and made us feel at ease. My Husband and I love Couples Resorts!!!!! Prior to getting engaged we had visited 2 of their resorts and knew when we got married we wanted to have a destination wedding at one of their properties! We selected Couples Swept Away because it is one of the bigger properties and since we had 37 guests attending the wedding, we wanted to make sure there was a lot for them to enjoy while in Jamaica. I was so nervous in the beginning because you do not finalize many of the wedding details until you are in Jamaica 2 days prior to your wedding. But rest assured, the wedding planners took care of everything and even made my reception more amazing then I had imagined! Thank you Pricilla, you were so professional and caring; you made my wedding perfect! From the beach ceremony to the private beach reception, the Couples’ wedding planners ensured every detail was taken care of! The food was simply amazing, the staff that worked our reception were so polite and attentive. Even the next few days other guest on the resort that had walked by our stunning beach reception were talking about it. If you are looking for a place to have a destination wedding (adults only) this is it!!!!!! All of my guest have told me it was the most romantic wedding and reception they have ever been to and I accredit that to the Couples Staff!!!My Husband and I love Couples Resorts!!!!! Had a great time in Jamaica! One piece of advice, if you're getting married, don't go with the photographers on the resort. Package are unimpressive and overpriced. We went with Diana Campbell. Cockroaches
Management has no desire to upgrade anything and it needs it badly. The pools and The rooms are in pretty rough shape. The main issue is cleanliness. We found a large cockroach sitting right in front our mini fridge. We moved rooms, only to be surprised by another one outside of our door. I contacted upper management. Lee, Gary and Karen. Karen said she can’t guarantee that we won’t have issues with cockroaches throughout the rest of the stay (i have all emails saved) and sent a 25 minute couple massage(we declined) Gary finally called me the night before our last full day and said that he was told that we offered to stay somewhere else- which of course was 100% not true. He told me he would follow up and ghosted me for a week. Then I received an email an internal email between management that they accidentally sent to me where management was dismissing me. Finally after one week of ignoring me, Gary responded to me in a Facebook group only after I posted this same review in an attempt to discredit and sway the other concerned members of the groups. To say these people are unprofessional would be the understatement. Cats here are also a problem. They are everywhere, in the restaurants, walkways, and on patios/balconies laying on the furniture. I don’t want to worry about parasites, food contamination and sitting/stepping in cat feces/urine. Birds are also in all the restaurants, zero effort to stop it. My wife also tested positive for E-coli.
