  Crissey Farm

  Crissey Farm is truly a magical place. Gary and Chelsea made our wedding so special. They were professional, accommodating and hospitable. Our guests loved the food and also having our after party at the cozy restaurant's bar. If you're looking for the perfect spot for a special occasion or just a great meal and a pint, look no further.

  Definitely Have Your Wedding at Crissey Farm

  Just a phenomenal experience. The venue flawlessly handled a variety of functions and services that are typically handled by other vendors (food and drink, tableware, waitstaff) at an incredibly reasonable rate. They were super flexible and collaborative when it came to the overall vision of the ceremony and reception, and worked seamlessly with the few additional vendors we employed. Even when a few unexpected hiccups occurred at the last second, the venue was more than understanding and eager to help come up with solutions. Throughout the entire process, Chelsea and Gary were thoroughly transparent, easy-going, and just an overall pleasure to work with. We simply could not have asked for a better working experience, nor a more perfect wedding. Thank you, Crissey Farm. This was the most beautiful day of our entire lives, and the memories at your beautiful venue will forever glow warmly in the hearts of everyone who attended.

  Look no further for the perfect Rustic Berkshires Wedding!!!

  We searched for over a year for our wedding venue, but kept finding there was a major disconnect. Mainly, we noticed how many venues made us feel like we were unimportant, with strict rules and limited opportunities to make it our own. However, from the very beginning, Crissey Farm understood and supported our vision. For instance, we really wanted long tables for the reception, which was a problem elsewhere, but Crissey Farm was more than happy to accommodate without additional fees. The food was incredible, the open bar was amazing, and we had so much fun! (We even were able to have a great after- party next door!)

  Fantastic place to get married

  Crissey Farm made our wedding absolutely magical. The space is lovely, the food was delicious, and Chelsea's thoughtfulness and thoroughness made everything run smoothly. If you want your guests to eat well, get married here--everything tasted amazing, and they were able to accommodate a wide variety of food allergies and needs. (Try the chocolate stout cake!) Our wedding was also a little logistically complicated, and Crissey Farm made it all work with style, ensuring that everyone had an amazing time. We very much recommend getting married here, and plan on returning to the adjoining Barrington Brewery for dinner whenever we're in the area.

  Wonderful People to Work With

  Chelsea at Crissey Farm was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the year planning the wedding, and during the event. The food was excellent; we are foodies and this surpassed our expectations. Beautiful setting!   The Dream Father Daughter Duo

  We only looked at one wedding venue when searching, and that was Crissey Farm. Once our tour finished, we already knew that we wanted to get married there. Gary (the owner) was so warm and welcoming, the venue was just what we were looking for, hotels right across the street and also adjacent to Barrington Brewery! Which if you haven’t been, has amazing food and great beer. We felt so confident in this decision that we canceled our other venue tours and put our deposit down the next day.
  
  During the wedding planning process, Chelsea, (Gary’s daughter, manager and day of coordinator) was extremely organized, thorough and always prompt to answer any questions we had. 
  
  By the time we had our final wedding meeting with both Gary and Chelsea, we left feeling so much more at ease. 
  
  I walked in with many questions (I’m a very particular person) and by the end of our meeting, I didn’t have any left since they answered them so well.
  
  Fast forward to our wedding day, it was perfect! However, without Chelsea, it would’ve had a few hiccups. She worked her magic and adjusted things on the fly. Her expertise in this area is remarkable. We seriously can’t speak highly enough about her. You’ll find her everywhere, serving, behind the bar during a rush, helping guests, the list never ends. Gary was also present the entire day and was a huge helping hand. We rented the shuttle extra time so our bridal party could get to photos, our friends had a blast with Gary and his jokes. Not to mention, the food was amazing! Our guests keep raving to us about it even three weeks later. 
  
  We then had our after party at Barrington Brewery. It was perfect! Our guests were able to walk right over once the reception ended, and kept the party going! Plus we had the Crissey Farm shuttle running until 1 am to get our guests back to where they were staying safely. 
  
  This father daughter duo is truly a dream team. My husband and I highly recommend Crissey Farm and can’t thank them enough for all they have done to make our special day that much more special!

  So supportive and very helpful!

  I had a very untraditional wedding and they helped me incorporate everything I wanted and things I didn’t know about!! I’m only 22, so I’m a young bride and did not know exactly what to do for a wedding, especially since I was planning it on my own! Chelsea was the best!!!

  Crissey Farm helped us have our dream wedding!

  Chelsea & Gary helped us make our special day incredible! Throughout the planning process they were always available to answer questions and provide suggestions based on their experience in the past. The venue is beautiful and throught the wedding our guests could not say enough great things about the venue, food, and staff.

  Highly recommend Crissey Farms for your Wedding

  Crissey Farms was perfect for our wedding of 150 guests. It allowed us to feature both an indoor and outdoor space that seamlessly flowed into each other. The food far exceeded our expectations, and was extremely reasonably priced. Chelsea and Gary are excellent to work with, are very thoughtful and experienced, and responsive. Chelsea also serves as a great day-of coordinator, which was a huge help to us. We were able to host our welcome party and after party at Barrington Brewery, their other/attached location, which made for a lot of fun variety for the wedding weekend. There are a bunch of good hotels in walking distance, which reduces the complexities of shuttling guests back home after the wedding. Also ample overflow parking which makes it easy for guests to travel in from out of town and leave their car overnight if needed. Plenty of room to put up our 30x60 foot tent in the outdoor area for the ceremony. Staff was all extremely helpful, organized, and detail oriented. And to boot, its extremely reasonably priced for what it offers/the northeast region. Can't recommend them enough.

  Who said weddings have to be stressful?

  There's no way I'm going to remember everything I appreciated about the coordinators at Crissey Farm, but I'm going to do my best.
  
  Having your ceremony & reception venue, catering, cake and day-of coordinator all coming as part of this package is INCREDIBLE. I didn't have to worry about tables, linens, chairs, hors d'oeuvres, the bar, everything was taken care of on site. They, having done this so many times, were able to make suggestions that truly enhanced our experiences and the experiences of the guests. It made everything SO easy.
  
  Additionally, we had to reschedule twice because of Covid and honestly the process could not have been easier. They made themselves available for quick video calls where we picked new dates. They let us know what times were available and we just bumped ourselves down the line.
  
  On top of all of this the professionalism lead to a perfectly executed day. I didn't have to worry about anything. Chelsea was there to handle the schedule and keep things moving and I just go to hang back, sip champagne, and show up when I was called for. It gave me freedom and flexibility to chat with all my guests and truly enjoy every single second of this celebration.
  
  They made my wedding so easy that now, on the on the other side of it, I do not understand why people get stressed about weddings. I can not recommend them more.

  All of our guests said the food was amazing!! And I totally agree. We had to change many things about our wedding due to COVID, but Chelsea and Gary at Crissey Farm STILL managed to give me the best day of my life! They made sure everyone was socially distanced, brought out the food (covered) so that everyone's meal was kept safe from air and germs, and played all of our music (first dance, parents dance) since I couldn't have a dance floor or DJ. Chelsea made it all happen and it seemed effortless! (But I know it took a lot of hard work.) They followed all the guidelines to provide safety, but also managed to keep a fun and loving atmosphere. I'm sure they do an even better job when we aren't in the middle of a global pandemic. So blessed they still hosted my tiny wedding, we greatly appreciate it.

  Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we cannot vouch for how delicious the food is here, but the many other glowing reviews should suffice. Even though the pandemic interrupted our Summer 2020 wedding plans at Crissey Farm, we feel our experience with Gary and Chelsea is just as important to share as those who were lucky enough to actually get married there.
  
  Due to the pandemic and ongoing restrictions, our wedding at Crissey Farm could not occur the way we had envisioned it and for personal reasons postponing was not an option for us. While the conversation we had with Gary and Chelsea about cancelling our event was heartbreaking, we feel the agreement we reached was more than fair. More importantly, our experience with Crissey Farm, versus the horror stories we’ve heard from many others, highlights their strong moral character and professionalism. Despite all the hardships faced by their business due to the pandemic, it was clear they still had our best interest in mind. For such an important (and expensive) day, trusting that your venue runs their business with your best interests in mind is invaluable. While our day at Crissey Farm wasn't meant to be, we would recommend this venue to anyone without hesitation.

  Dream wedding!

  We had an amazing experience working with the team at Crissey Farm to make our wedding a reality. The space is beautiful, and thanks to Chelsea and her team we were able to do a unique seating arrangement. I can't say enough about how delicious the food was and all of our guests commented on it. We had certain aspects of our ceremony and guest list that were unique (including individuals who were mobility impaired) and the space was so accommodating and inviting for all. In terms of convenience for a Berkshires wedding you can't beat Crissey. Right in downtown Great Barrington which has many attractions and amenities for your guests and close to local lodging. Honestly can't say enough about how wonderful this venue is and the excellent experience we had there.

  Chelsea and Gary were so helpful and professional, easy to talk to and always answered our emails/calls promptly. Chelsea was super organized and made our wedding day flow nicely. The food was superb, the service was exceptional and the whole venue was perfection.

  Most Amazing Wedding!

  Words cannot describe how happy we were with our wedding at Crissey Farms. Our guests are still talking about what an incredible time they had! From the moment we chose Crissey, up until the end of our wedding reception, we knew we were in great hands with Gary, Chelsea and their wonderful staff. Chelsea was so helpful with any questions or concerns we had in the planning process. We highly recommend Crissey Farms (and the Barrington Brewery for the after party!). You truly feel as special as you should on your wedding day. Gary, Chelsea & staff, go out of their way to accommodate any special requests you have. Five stars all around!

  The most perfect fall Berkshire wedding!

  We had the most stunningly beautiful fall Berkshire wedding and Crissey Farm was at the heart of it all. From the first time we met with Gary and Chelsea, we knew we had found our perfect venue. The weather cooperated and we were able to have the ceremony outside, however the indoor option in front of the gorgeous stone fireplace brought such peace of mind. With 110 guests, I was concerned about feeling lost in the space. I needn’t worry as they created the most cozy and intimate reception with plenty of space for all or of guests to get their groove on. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The setup and breakdown of the decor went super smooth. Loved the finishing touches Chelsea put on the space after our rehearsal run through. The icing on the perfect venue cake was the attached brewery next door and how easy it was to shift our party there for the after party. Pool tables, jukebox, pizza and local beer was the perfect way to end our perfect day.

  Absolutely Amazing!

  We had our ceremony and reception with Crissy Farms this past September and it was absolutely perfect. We were planning the wedding from over a thousand miles away, but Gary and Chelsea were always there to help with any questions or concerns that we had. When the day of the wedding rolled around everything went off without a hitch because of Chelsea and Gary. Chelsea kept everyone on schedule without making anyone feel rushed or hurried. The food was exceptional, everything from the lovely charcuterie display to the prime rib, our guests are still going on about it! The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating.   Amazing hosts

  Chelsea and Gary are amazing hosts. Our daughters wedding, this past weekend, was herald as a fantastic event be every guest.
  
  Their planning and organization skills made the whole weekend run smoothly and professionally.
  
  The food is wonderfully prepared, seasoned well and plentiful. Appetizers included delicious grilled vegetables, great assortment of cheeses and passed horsedouvers.
  
  The prime rib, cooked in a variety of donenesses for every taste. Chicken marsala, flavorful and tender. Vegetable lasagna with a white sauce and vegetarian rice for our family with dietary requirements.
  
  Wedding cake was delicious and they include a Viennese table.
  
  Nice outdoor space for the ceremony, great indoor space for dancing and reception.

  Exactly what we wanted for our wedding day!

  Where do I begin!!! Chelsea and Gary were so easy to work with and accommodating! The venue was perfect from the cleanliness, staff, and the absolutely delicious food! I would recommend Crissey Farm for any type of party! They made our wedding day perfect!

  Chelsea, Gary & the rest of the Crissey Farm team... I’m honestly not sure where to even start. I’ve been holding off on writing this review mainly because I keep hoping my wedding really isn’t over.
  I still remember our search for the perfect venue, going to every single “barn” wedding venue in the area, and even out of the area, and not falling in love with a single one. When I came across Crissey Farm online, I started reading nothing but amazing reviews. I said to Anthony we need to go , even to just LOOK. Well, we did more than just look.. from the warm welcome from both Chelsea & Gary, to the hot tea/coffee they offered us while giving us every single detail we would possibly need, to treating us to lunch after. Just wow, talk about going above and beyond. And talk about the kindest, seeetest people EVER! We instantly fell in love with the venue .. it was perfect size, perfect atmosphere, SO intament & cozy. It was just everything we dreamed of. It took us ten minutes to sit down & decide that this is where we wanted to get married.. yep, we booked our wedding THAT DAY.
  The entire process was so easy, Chelsea and Gary are (in my eyes) the best in the business. They made everything so smooth and easy on us. I hear and still hear so many brides ask me “are you happy it’s over?” Truth is, no.. no I’m not happy at all. Planning our wedding could not have come easier. It was the best year of our entire lives. They made every one of my crazy dreams come true... like bringing in a wall, yes a wall for my back drop.. to allowing me to hang a 7.5 foot chandelier over our dance floor. Their accommodation is unlike any other. Gary even drove the wedding party in the shuttle to The Mount for us to take our first look photos & bridal party photos prior to the wedding. In miserable weather may I add! Talk about miserable weather, brides.. we all dream to have the perfect weather on our wedding day, well I’ll tell you- it rained & was freezing on my day. Chelsea and Gary were so amazing at easing our minds and accommodating at doing everything inside. I am actually happy it rained, because it turned out to be amazing in front of the fire place! We had the option of renting the shuttle for after the wedding.. best choice ever! After the wedding, the brewery stays open for guests until 1-2 am! It was amazing to be able to go next door & continue hanging with our guests after the wedding. Our shuttle driver even took us to mcdonalds - haha! So much fun.
  Our wedding day was hands down, the best day EVER.. a month later I’m constantly getting comments from my guests saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to , that the food was incredible, the staff was amazing, and the list goes on. Chelsea made the entire day go so smooth and was right by our sides if we needed anything at all. I could seriously write a book on our experience. To say I’m sad it’s over is truly an understatement. I relive our wedding in my head daily.. and truly hope every bride can feel the same way when it comes to their big day. We can’t thank the entire team at Crissey Farm enough for all they offer & do for their bride, groom, family & guests. I will recommend this venue to every single person I know. Can you tell I’m having the wedding blues?!

  Shelby & Zachary Wedding 10/20/18

  I think it’s safe to say that Crissey Farm MORE than exceeded our expectation for our wedding day!! We don’t even know where to begin to explain how amazing our wedding day was, not just because of our amazing vendors, but because of Crissey Farm who was at the forefront of the entire wedding day. From our initial visit, to the planning meeting and through the entire wedding weekend with set up and breakdown, Chelsea and Gary were just absolutely AMAZING to work with!! The whole process was so smooth. Not to mention the entire Crissey Farm team including the Chef, baker, set up team and waiters who were so attentive the entire night from set up to breakdown. Every single detail Zach and I wanted was incorporated, when we walked into the venue we just couldn’t believe how perfect everything came together. People always tell you that weddings are so stressful, but to be quite honest Crissey Farm was so organized and on top of everything that we were not nervous or stressed for a minute the weekend of our wedding!! Everything fell into place so perfectly all thanks to the Crissey Farm team! It’s been a month since our wedding day and our guests are still raving over every little detail from the amazing open bar, to the mouthwatering appetizers, to the breath taking displays of food and delectable desserts our guests just couldn’t get enough!! And I quote “that carrot cake was out of this world!” and “those cannoli’s were the best I have ever tasted” from literally every wedding guest. When the steamship roast came out people were in awe and could not stop talking about how awesome the food was! Our guests kept saying how at most weddings they go to the food is mediocre and they never feel satisfied. All of our guests had multiple servings and just kept saying how delicious everything was including the mashed potatoes, eggplant rollatini, string bean almondine and the super yummy chicken asiago. They were literally crowd pleasers!! This was a destination wedding for us so most of our guests decided to stay overnight, but we still had a few guests that had just planned to go home that night, but Crissey Farm made our wedding such a killer party that people were booking hotels at the last minute just to enjoy the wedding until the very end of the night which was like 2AM. Aside from the venue, Crissey Farm opened the brewery for us to throw an after party for our guests where we were able to bring in a pizza truck for our quests, enjoy some music, drinks and keep the party going!! It was absolutely amazing to be able to be with our guests for the entire night!! Everyone just loved it!! We could not have chosen a more perfect venue and will be recommending Crissey Farm to every couple we know for the wedding!! No better place to have a wedding in the Berkshires!! :)

  Beautiful Fall Wedding

  Gary and Chelsea at Crissey Farm gave my husband and I the wedding of our dreams. They made sure everything was perfect and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Great people to work with and an absolutely beautiful venue!

  Perfect Berkshire Wedding - Best Wedding Decision

  We LOVE Crissey Farm!!!
  
  From the second we reserved our spot with Crissey Farm we knew it was the right decision. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately. Any concerns or visions we had for the big day, Chelsea and Gary made it happen. Crissey Farm was by far the best choice for quality as well as VALUE! Anything we dreamed they could do it, (including homemade cannolis as one of our desserts)! We also asked Chelsea to provide welcome refreshments for our guests like apple cider. Not something they usually do, but they happily accommodated us. Our food was absolutely PHENOMENAL! It was so hard to choose there were so many options!!
  Our guests loved the crab cakes and the unique selection of salsas and guacamole! Everyone loved the Steam ship Roast and I still have dreams about it! Watching that GIANT roast get wheeled out was a sincere highlight of the evening! We loved it all and actually found time to eat thanks to Chelsea and Gary’s perfect planning.
  
  There were so many beautiful spots for photos and our first look!! Our pictures came out so beautiful we could not have been happier! We were also able to use the upstairs bridal suite to hang out, get ready, and stay cool on a hot Fall day. The room was gorgeous and Chelsea made sure we had everything we needed… all day long. She also made sure all the wedding day decorations (I did a lot of DIY) were in the perfect place and exactly how I hoped they’d be. Everywhere I looked was like a dream realized! Chelsea made me feel like I had absolutely Nothing to worry about which is exactly how you want to feel on your wedding day.
  
  One of the coolest parts of the day… was knowing after the wedding was over, all our friends could enjoy a nice deli sandwich and delicious beers in the Barrington Brewery (RIGHT next door) for a post wedding after party. We had the entire upstairs to hang out play pool and listen to some awesome music. It was a such a blast and a PERFECT way to end the night!
  
  SIDE NOTE: Somewhere in the middle of the dancing, Chelsea found me. She told me a couple who was supposed to be married (on the same day) was in the bar. They evacuated North Carolina because of the hurricane. She asked if they could have a dance? She knew I was a romantic person and that I would of course say yes! That couple… got to have their first dance after all. If anyone KNOWS who this couple is. (I will post a photo!) please let Chelsea and Gary at Crissey Farm know so we can send them the picture! It was such a magical moment and all of our guests were blown away!
