  Unbelievably Amazing

  David's team really made our wedding day one of the most spectacular days. We had Scott as our DJ and he really turned the party on after dinner!! I had multiple people come up to me saying it was the best dance party they have ever been a part of at a wedding. The dance floor was always packed which was phenomenal. We also booked a photo booth through DCP and so many people had a blast with it, and I have some priceless pictures now. We also booked our videographer through DCP and our video just makes me so happy and excited to see how happy we were all day. Lastly, we added a bit of extra lighting through DCP because why not make it amazing!! I highly recommend booking multiple services with DCP because you will not be disappointed. I couldn't have been happier with the choice we made!

  Amazing Services

  This company is absolutely phenomenal. If you are booking a wedding, party, etc. in Milwaukee stop doing your research and book David Charles Productions. My husband and I got married in June of 2023 and were blown away at how amazing their services were for lighting and DJ. In fact we had multiple guests come up to us during and after the wedding complimenting their services and asking for their info. We had the pleasure of working with David and he is the coolest, most personable guy you will ever meet. And the best part is his attention to inclusivity. Times are changing and inclusive language is important. David, as the DJ, made sure to call out little things like when he asked guests to stand for the entrance of the bride and groom, he added if you are able. He made sure to refer to the group as you all instead of looping all genders under ‘guys,’ etc. All I can say is this company is amazing and I wish we had another event coming up so we could book them again.

  Amazing to work with!

  David Charles Productions was amazing to work with! We decided very late in the planning process to have a DJ at our wedding reception, and I am so glad that we did! David was so easy to work with, responsive, and flexible. He made the booking process seamless, stress-free, and exciting. Never once did we feel guilty or pressured for our last minute decision. He and our DJ Parker took the time to truly understand what my partner and I were looking for, and they were so dedicated to making our vision come to life. We can't say enough positive things about Parker! We feel so fortunate to have worked with him. His energy, positivity, and kindness are above and beyond what we expected. His attitude strikes the perfect balance between professional and down-to-earth. Parker was absolutely instrumental in making our day run smoothly. The announcements and toasts were seamless! He even accommodated some last minute requests with the utmost professionalism, skill, and calm. He made us feel relaxed and valued throughout the whole process. Beyond that, the dance floor was a blast. You can tell that Parker loves what he does. We had many people complement us on the music and the energy that DCP brought to our reception. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone for their professionalism, positivity, talent, and pricing!

  A pro through and through!

  I have to echo all of the other positive reviews you'll see below for DCP - the best team, the best energy, the best vibes, and the best music/lighting. David is a professional through-and-through, but he's just as personable, too. Throughout the entire planning process, he and his team ensured we were fully confident in what the day would bring and how they'd run the show...then they overdelivered during the wedding itself!
  
  There's a reason David emphasizes the importance of touches like a lapel mic and thoughtful lighting from the moment your ceremony begins. It makes ALL the difference throughout your event. He was a true expert in ensuring everything was heard crisply, including doing a run-through with my best friend who sang during my processional. From there, he ran the show perfectly - he kept everything moving throughout the evening, but did so with just the right amount of involvement (we've all been to a wedding when the DJ really uh...owned the spotlight, huh!). But David ensured everyone was seated for speeches, the right folks were announced (and pronounced correctly), all of those important touches that show he truly respects each wedding he's a part of.
  
  He also brought the PARTY! Music was very, very important to us...we wanted to have this be a full-on dance party after the initial few songs. He did a perfect job of mixing up our own requested playlist with the songs he knew our crowd would love. We had people saying they could barely leave the dance floor to get a drink because the hits just kept coming.
  
  Our guests were raving about David, and so are we. His team is the perfect decision if you're looking for a DJ and lighting pro who understands the importance of the ceremony as much as the party after. He's an expert at what he does - we can't recommend him enough.

  Hire David Charles Productions!

  I hired a DCP DJ (Scott) & Videographer (Jake) for my Oct 2022 wedding and wow was I impressed with their work! From the moment I first contacted them, they were professional, responsive and thorough in explaining their services and questions I had. DJ Scott even combed through 100's of songs to find the exact version we wanted for our first dance. On the day of the wedding, DJ Scott arrived on time and was a pleasure to work with. He seamlessly set up sound & lights for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. And he did a great job checking in with us and our wedding planner to make sure we were sticking to the timeline and that everything was running smoothly. We had zero microphone or sound issues which was great! And everyone commented on how they couldn't leave the dance floor because the DJ just kept playing hit after hit which was exactly what we wanted! And videographer Jake worked seamlessly with our photographer and captured all of the special moments of the day perfectly. He even brought a drone to do some rooftop videos as the sun was setting. The video teaser and full video were produced well beyond my expectations - it was beautifully edited and captured the emotion and joy of the day in a way that photos simply can't. We've watched it over and over again reliving the magic of the day! Overall, I highly recommend DCP for your DJ & Videographer needs! They care about quality and personalizing your day and it really shows in the people they hire, equipment they use and their flawless execution.

  They bring the party!!

  We hired David Charles Productions for our wedding this past weekend and we are so happy that we did! From the music and audio at the ceremony being clear and loud enough for everyone to hear outside, to the dance floor bumping until the last song, Michael and Joey killed it! They were responsive during all of the planning and helped us with some specific details around song choices and mash ups that we wanted to make our day unique. They kept us on schedule the day of so we could socialize and be in the moment the entire time, without having to worry what was next! Highly recommend!!

  We could not recommend DCP enough!! They were an easy choice for our September Milwaukee wedding and we are so glad we found them. Not only was the planning process stress-free, but they also took the time to get to know us and made sure the event reflected us and what we had envisioned. Joey and Alejandro made sure everything ran seamlessly and more importantly that everyone had a BLAST! We received countless compliments that they were the best DJs many guests had ever experienced. Their music and energy had everyone on the dance floor all night! Also highly recommend the lux green photo booth, guests loved it and we have such fun photos to forever look back on.   Amazing Party

  David Charles Productions is the absolute best. They were a preferred vendor and after following them on instagram, I decided to hire them. They were amazing and threw an AWESOME party. Everyone had a great time and complimented how much fun the music was. Our MC was awesome and energetic. They were fun to work with through the process. We had Ben Wall as our DJ and he was awesome. The only thing that was incorrect was the song I walked down the aisle to but in reality, it wasn’t anything major, the song they played was beautiful. They treat you like family and very communicative and they are ready to throw a great party. Worth every penny! Thank you DCP!

  Made our day perfect!

  David and his team were amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were super professional and really helpful in determining the flow of the whole event and perfectly selecting the right music to get people up and dancing the whole night. He was incredibly responsive and willing to talk through our every needs and wishes, in addition to modifying plans and songs up to the last minute (sorry David!). Dan was prompt in setting up meetings at 90 days, 30 days, and the week of the wedding. We used a google doc to keep track of details and Spotify to share song choices. Everything was super organized! Ben, Joey, and EJ did an absolutely fantastic job at the reception and we couldn't be happier with how the day turned out! We got so many compliments on the music and the photo booth, and everyone had a blast! Ben took our recommendations into consideration and filled in the gaps perfectly. He was also amazing at finding us throughout the night and coordinating what we wanted to do next, while also letting us enjoy the party. The entire team at David Charles Productions truly made our reception vision come alive and we can't thank them enough!

In our meetings leading up to the wedding, Dan did a great job getting to know us as a couple and learning our taste in music. He listened to our questions and helped craft the perfect layout/timeline for our reception, which included uplighting throughout the venue. On the wedding day, David and Dan brought the energy and engaged our guests during cocktail hour, wedding party introductions and while MC'ing the speeches/dances.   Amazing DJ and beautiful lighting!

  Dan created such a fun atmosphere for our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night and none of the guests wanted the night to end. They also did an incredible job decorating the venue with beautiful string lights. We highly recommend this group!

  Absolutely amazing experience!

  My husband and I got married at St. James 1868 on October 22, 2021 and we looked into hiring David almost right away (we had only heard amazing things!). David and his team were absolutely incredible leading up to our wedding and especially on the day of. David helped me create a very special first dance song with my brother to help commemorate my dad on my big day. The song was beautiful and truly not a dry eye in the room. We also decided a few months out from the wedding that we wanted to do a Photo Booth and that was hands down the best decision we made! The photos turned out amazing and gave us a lot of hilarious memories to look back on. If we were to do all this over again, David would be the very first person we would call! He completely blew our socks off with how amazing the Photo Booth, backdrop, lighting, and music were for the day of our wedding. My husband and I are giddy any time we talk about how amazing our wedding was - with a big thanks to David Charles Productions!

  Only hire DCP if you want to have a blast at your wedding!

  We recently used David Charles Productions for our daughter’s wedding at the St. James 1868. David and his team were the MC, DJ, and lighting specialists for us! And they did not disappoint!
  The lighting fit the venue and our vision perfectly. As Master of Ceremony David kept the evening upbeat, lively and on schedule. And of course, the music mix kept the dance floor filled and hopping from beginning to end! We really appreciated David’s talent and professionalism, but also that he cared about even the little details that mattered to the bride and groom. Needless to say, we had A BLAST at the wedding, and our friends and family continue to talk about what a fun evening it was! We can’t wait to get our photos back to see all the action on the dance floor! Kudos to David and his team for helping to create the wedding of our dreams!

  Amazing Job!

  We were given a few recommendations on DJ entertainment from the event planner at our wedding venue, David Charles Production was one of them. From the first phone call discussion to follow up conversations, I never had a doubt in my mind that David Charles Production was going to do an amazing job as our DJ at our wedding. They were able to do the music for our entire wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and dancing - all in different locations at our venue) without any issues. We had David himself as the DJ - he was great at engaging guests in a way that was not overzealous/in your face and reading the room when picking songs to play. They were able to make adjustments to song selection and add on extra lighting to the dance floor without any issues. Seriously, one of the best decisions we made planning our wedding was hiring David Charles Production as our DJ/entertainment!! Highly highly highly recommend.

  Dream Wedding

  David is such a blast. So easy to work with, and extremely responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He ensure our ceremony had adequate sound so everyone could hear (outdoor ceremony) and ensured the proper people were mic’d. The reception he came in ready for everyone to hve a good time! I think just about everyone (200 guests) made it to the dance floor at some point!! Would definitely highly recommend.

  David and his team did an amazing job that helped make Olivia and Brady’s big day a truly OVER THE TOP celebration.
  
  Our DJ Mike was FANTASTIC and really added a really great cohesive element to the entire evening. He handled all of our special request impeccably – a true 11 out of 10!

The team was incredibly easy to work with, and they set up two beautiful, long strands of lights above the Villa's terrace to make our outdoor wedding evening glow!   They are the best!

  All I can say is WOW! DCP is amazing!!! They far exceeded our expectations. Not only did they play great music, but they helped our reception run so smoothly! From the grand march, to speeches, to any announcements, they did it all. We truly did not have to worry about anything but having an amazing time. All of our guests raved about how much fun they had. Dannow and Tim played the perfect music for all ages. We cannot thank them enough for an unforgettable night!

We originally had plans for a much different wedding on a bigger scale (pre-pandemic), but David hung with us throughout multiple changes in plans. You can tell he loves what he does, and he still made our day feel so special. David and his team definitely know how to read the crowd and anticipate (and navigate!) any potential challenges. We knew we were in great hands and were just able to relax and enjoy our day.

  So thankful we chose David Charles

  We originally booked David Charles for our wedding in May at Saint Kate. Then Covid hit and we had to postpone to September. Throughout this entire process, David was SO responsive and helpful and supportive. When we finally had our little ceremony in September, David really helped us put together a great event. He was professional, and positive, and just a great person. You don't usually think "flexibility" is a trait that you look for in a DJ, but we are so thankful for his flexibility and generosity during this entire wedding process.
  
  We also booked our videographer, Brian, through David Charles, and had an amazing experience working with Brian as well.
