  Best Wedding DJ!

  Greg was the best wedding DJ we could've asked for! He's so kind, down to earth and great at what he does! I really enjoyed getting to know him and he did an amazing job at playing the music the crowd was loving! Highly recommend!

  Super professional and incredible DJ

  We hired Greg to DJ our wedding and the entire process was so professional and thorough. Holy cow I knew Greg would be an amazing DJ but after seeing him work his magic on at our wedding that statement doesn’t even do him justice! I had people coming up asking if we gave him a list of songs because they PERFECTLY captured everything we love! Everyone was impressed by Greg. He is an incredible DJ, so detail oriented, calm, prepared, fun, and might we even add that his voice is perfect over a microphone too? I give him the highest recommendation.

  No Regrets!!!

  Simply put, Greg is the only DJ you need to consider. My fiancé (now wife) and I had to unexpectedly bump up our wedding date and knew the truncated time table would be a challenge for anyone…or so we thought. Greg was on it! He traveled to meet us and took his time to listen and understand not only the type of music that we liked, but also what type of experience we wanted to have. Greg's professionalism, experience, friendliness and energy made us feel comfortable making the choice, and he did not disappoint. He followed up with us several times, kept us on track and even spoke with the venue and other vendors to coordinate the timing and details. Personally, I was a little nervous with the timing of transitioning between the various ceremony songs. However, the transitions were flawless, and I was worrying for nothing. He made sure to play the specific songs we wanted to hear but also had tons of hits ready to go. Something we really appreciated was that he modified the play list depending on the age of the crowd. As the night progressed and our older family members began to leave, the music began to get "younger" as well. The crowd had a great time and there wasn't a single occupied seat. If you want the chicken dance experience, he can probably do that. If you want a modern or custom experience unique to your day, he can do that too. You will not regret hiring Greg.

  Beyond helpful!

  Greg is amazing in all senses of the word. He has wicked helpful worksheets that made the entirely of planning a breeze! He is so easy going and understanding.
  
  Unfortunately, we were not able to meet Greg in person, as he came down with Covid a week before our big day. But this man, in his illness, provided us with another DJ and transferred our payments to him. His compassion and selflessness ensured we had a great DJ, and overall day.
  
  We are so grateful to have worked with such an amazing person.

  The best of the best!!!

  Where to begin! From our first conversation with Greg my husband and I knew he was going to be our D.J. He cared more about getting to know us then selling his business. He really cares about the people he works with and it shows! Every question is answered very quickly. There were no surprises. He is truly the best! Every addition to the night exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Greg and his team for every occasion.

  Could not ask for more!

  Greg did a truly incredible job!!! The wedding would not have been nearly as great without him! He was great to work with throughout the entire process and was very communicative and helpful in the lead up to the event. He made everything so easy and painless! On the day of he was on top of everything and helped make sure the all the timing of the wedding went off without a hitch. The music was amazing and fun! He had people dancing the whole time! And Greg offers so much more than that with fun lighting and perfect MC work. I can’t say enough good things about our experience working the Greg! We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing a DJ for any event!

  Greg Young DJ Review - 100 stars!

  Working with Greg was absolutely amazing! We actually "stole" him from our friend's wedding a few years prior - he is THAT GOOD! From our initial inquiry into his services (which BTW...took him less than a day to respond) to all of the 1:1 personal consultations planning our songs, special events / requests, he is extremely professional, personal and so easy to work with. We were laughing with him on every zoom call as we discussed the details of our wedding. What we loved most was his creativity and his ability to keep our guests on the dance floor. All of our trust went into him planning the music for our special day. He did not disappoint!! I would HIGHLY recommend him for any of your special occasions! Greg is a rock star!!!

  We hired DJ Greg Young for our wedding back in 2018 for our summer wedding in 2020, we unfortunately had to cancel and reschedule for the summer of 2021. Greg was very flexible with rescheduling and extremely communicative during those uncertain times. Fast forward to our wedding this summer, which was absolutely amazing thanks to Greg and his services.
  
  Greg mic’d my officiant and husband for our ceremony, set up a microphone for readings to be done and had two areas set up for music to be played. Everything Greg was involved with was wonderful and went flawlessly. We met prior to our wedding and he made sure to cater to our wants for all of the music choices. Greg made all my wedding dance party dreams come true, if I was to ever plan another event in which I needed a DJ, Greg would be my first choice.

  The best experience ever!

  Greg was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding! From being extremely flexible to our schedule, to having a detailed planner created for us to make planning easy-- he does everything and more to make sure his couples have the best wedding day you could imagine. The music was GREAT, he did an amazing job getting the crowd going! To this day, I have people tell me it was the best wedding they've been to because the music was so fabulous!   Planning a wedding during a pandemic proved to be challenging in so many ways but fortunately for us, Greg was always confident that our wedding would be fun and memorable no matter the obstacles. What can I say? This is the guy who makes or breaks a wedding! And he didn’t disappoint. Throughout the craziness of this summer’s planning Greg was always in contact and always made us feel at ease about any worries we may have had. He was absolutely fantastic. Easy to talk to. Great voice! Awesome communication! And really cares... Sincerely. Greg was like having another party planner on the day of and leading up to our wedding. He wanted to know all of the details and made us feel super relaxed about our scheduling and plans for the big day. We knew whatever might come up would be managed and we wouldn’t even notice. He was just the extra security we needed knowing he had all the bases covered. He was over prepared and brought tons of extra cables and patch cords for video or whatever was needed. He had plenty of backup setup just in case. We knew he could fill in if needed for the ceremony musicians and cocktail hour. We sent him a playlist of just our general interest of music we listened and songs we absolutely wanted to hear. He helped us out with last minute details; setting us up with some outdoor lighting and even surprised us with personalized graphic for the DJ booth! We had so much fun and regardless of being an intimate wedding we felt our small group was having the best time. I can honestly say my husband and I danced the WHOLE night! And we got so many compliments about our DJ! Thank you Greg!

  DJ Greg and Northeast Event Design

  Greg Young and Northeast Event Design were the perfect vendors and humans to help us celebrate our wedding. We were impressed with Greg's willingness to meet with us, correspond through email, and chat on the phone to brainstorm and finalize the details for our reception. He is incredibly professional and brings a lot of talent to the format of a wedding reception. The music was amazing and our guests danced the entire night. Greg expertly handled a couple of awkward situations when our venue's fire alarm kept going off. He kept guests calmed and entertained by playing songs related to fire drills. The photo booth Greg and his team set up was a massive hit and we loved getting the digital copies and hard copies of the photos. I would highly recommend Greg Young and Northeast Event Design for your wedding reception to create a memorable and fun experience. Our guests are still talking about how fun the wedding was!   Very talented and reliable

  Greg performed at our wedding a couple of weeks back and killed it. He was incredibly consultative, supportive and flexible. We had a few transitions from building to building (we got married at Linekin Bay) and he was calm, cool, and collected throughout it all along with a few different set ups. Would highly recommend him.

  We hired Greg for our wedding in Maine and he has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From the very first phone call, Greg was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. His extensive experience was immediately apparent, allowing us to feel comfortable with letting him take the lead for all things music related. To completely trust someone during the wedding planning is a rare experience and I cannot convey how valuable this it. We had a friend of ours sing live for our first dance and he coordinated all the logistics with her - allowing us to concentrate on practicing our dance moves!
  
  On the wedding day things could not have gone smoother. The music was amazing, Greg kept the guests on the dance floor all night by reading the crowd and picking songs that everyone enjoyed. At the end of the night no one wanted to leave with the entire party chanting "one more song"!!

He offered so many options beyond just playing music, such as uplighting, photo streaming & a photo booth. We took full advantage of almost all of it & our ceremony/reception went far beyond our expectations. He met with us on several occasions (where & when it was convenient for us) & was always happy to go over details & answer any questions we may have had. Plus, he was so super friendly & engaging (yet professional), it made the whole process enjoyable & seamless. I could go on & on, but I will just say if you're looking for a DJ, go with Greg. End of story!

  Best dj ever!

  We could not have asked for anything better. Greg took the time to meet with us prior to our wedding and go over everything. He literally thinks of everything possible to make your wedding day complete. He is not just music. He does the lighting, photo booth/lounge, custom light heading! You can rest assured that he will help make your day perfect.

  Superb DJ Great Experience Amazing Wedding

  I’m a straight shooter and I never go out of my way to provide feedback unless it is completely warranted. In this case I felt a need to write about my amazing experience with Greg over at NorthEast Event Design. Let me begin by saying planning a wedding is not easy and at times can be very stressful. Greg made everything so easy..not once did I stress about anything DJ or MC related. He made us feel like we were his number one priority every time we spoke. Any request we had or advice we needed he was there for us. I can say he bent over backwards for us and went above & beyond for all of our needs. He was friendly and professional..he made us feel at ease and less stressed for our wedding. His uplighting was beautiful and it made our reception look really good. We gave him a lot of control over what songs to play and he got people on the dance floor! We had a tiny wedding of only 36 but there wasn’t a moment the dance floor wasn’t packed. There’s not enough kind words I can say about Greg and how incredibly happy we were with choosing him to be our DJ. Great guy..made our lives easier and less stressed..professional & takes his job very seriously...provides superb entertainment..would highly, highly recommend his services!

In this case I felt a need to write about my amazing experience with Greg over at NorthEast Event Design. Let me begin by saying planning a wedding is not easy and at times can be very stressful. Greg made everything so easy..not once did I stress about anything DJ or MC related. He made us feel like we were his number one priority every time we spoke. Any request we had or advice we needed he was there for us. I can say he bent over backwards for us and went above & beyond for all of our needs. He was friendly and professional..he made us feel at ease and less stressed for our wedding. His uplighting was beautiful and it made our reception look really good. We gave him a lot of control over what songs to play and he got people on the dance floor! We had a tiny wedding of only 36 but there wasn’t a moment the dance floor wasn’t packed. There’s not enough kind words I can say about Greg and how incredibly happy we were with choosing him to be our DJ. Great guy..made our lives easier and less stressed..professional & takes his job very seriously...provides superb entertainment..would highly, highly recommend his services!
