I knew I picked the right venue when I first met Sharon. She instantly put my mind at ease and was always professional and accommodating. The staff are wonderful and do everything in their power to make you feel like the Queen or King of the day. The food is absolutely delicious. It's not your typical hotel food. Overall, my experience with the Doubletree has been an excellent experience. I would highly recommend them.

If I could give the Doubletree a 10 I would. There is not one negative thing I can say about our planning experience with Sharon. She was amazing answering all our crazy questions and always made me feel that my wedding was important and my questions and ideas were as well. I literally did not worry once about anything related to the reception because I knew Sharon had it covered! Our wedding day itself blew me away. We were greeted at the door by Sharon herself who got us drinks, my comfy shoes, and made sure everything was good with us. The entire staff for the remainder of our time at the hotel were amazing. From Katie at the front desk who took care of us all evening and the next morning with any of our questions to Dan our awesome bartender and waiter at breakfast. They made us all feel like friends and we are so grateful to have had our wedding somewhere that it was obvious customer service came first! I would highly recommend the Doubletree to anyone and everyone!

Just got married here, and it was absolutely perfect. Sharon (Director of Catering) is amazing, so professional, so attentive to our wants and needs, she was one of the main reasons we chose the venue. She is basically your very own wedding coordinator. The hotel is beautiful with an atrium that gives it a "tropical" vibe. And the entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. From the moment we checked in, we were treated like VIP's. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Complete disappointment & ruined my wedding

The more I think about how my wedding went down, the more I cry. Nothing was done/decorated as promised. I showed up to drop of items for the tables to find nothing prepared and a hotel staff claiming they didn’t know a wedding was happening. I paid for multiple items (fresh fruit display, chocolate chip cookies, filet mignon) that I did not receive. The menu we picked out was not served (roast beef with gravy vs filet, ranch vs raspberry vinaigrette, lemon vs raspberry sorbet), plus 10 guests did not show and the Doubletree still did not have enough dinners. There was no one to serve/work the wedding- they even asked my step-son who was in the wedding party to serve the cocktail hour & there was no bar tender for half my open bar I paid for. The sales manager refused to answer, and if she did it would be by email only. She didn’t even bother to show up to my wedding to make sure the event ran smoothly, as stated in the contract. I had this date booked for more than a year, as covid pushed back the 2020 date I had originally booked in 2018. Nothing went right and no one seemed to care and felt offering alcohol (which was already “free”) would solve guests not having dinner. 10 minutes before my ceremony at the hotel, I was receiving calls on how to set up the dishes on the tables!! I have reached out about at least getting my money back for services I paid for and did not receive, and nothing. The place has the potential to be a beautiful venue, but a new staff that cares and does their actually job is needed. The whole point of have my ceremony and reception at the Doubletree was so I could enjoy my day, and I was exhausted from two nights of setting up until 2am.

The DoubleTree by Hilton is a joke and an embarrassment to the Hilton name. Really wish I hadn't picked them for my wedding reception. M husband and I chose them, because they told us they were doing renovations that would be completed by December '15. Even had it in writing well that was a complete lie. By my reception they were still renovating had the main lobby all closed off looked terrible and the "renovations" they were making to the ball room never happened. We also kept getting lied to about the renovations and timeline for it etc.
Then the bridal suite that was newly renovated was such a disappointment, cabinets were falling off in the bathroom as well as faucets etc. Didn't look like the bridal suite you'd want to spend your wedding night at.
The staff was arguing during my reception while taking our guests plates; so unprofessional and tacky. You should know not to argue at a wedding reception that you're getting paid for. They must've been too busy arguing since they never replenished my candy bar that they were supposed to throughout the night. My husband and guests had to do so. Then the hotel replied saying that was the bridesmaids job... umm no we paid for the hotel to cater our reception not our bridesmaids!
Also the second I got up from my seat to say hi to some of my guests my plate was gone. Didn't get to eat half of my filet mignon and they took it away. Worst things had to be that some wedding cards went missing. So I have all this money unaccounted for at least $800 that I received and will never know what happened since apparently the hotel doesn't know.
The wedding coordinator at the hotel left early didn't even inform us and says she was there until 10:30. Clearly not since no one saw her after 8/8:30 and due to that I had 3 wedding crashers that had to kick out myself. They were making music requests to the dj, using my open bar, live steaming my reception, i
