    Amazing !!!

    This was the perfect venue to have a wedding ceremony and reception. We had a lot of guest from over seas and out of state so this was a great place to have the wedding so the families can enjoy what Tampa has to offer . Samantha Mann (who was in charge of coordinating the wedding from start to finish ) was amazing ! She was so helpful and kind . We looked at other places before Embassy Suites but she was what sealed the deal . She was very sweet and knowledgeable. I recommend this place with 5 stars . :)

    Great spot for a wedding!

    Plenty of things to do in Downtown! Suites are great for folks getting ready for a wedding- and the full breakfast is a great addition!

    So glad I chose to have my special here!!! Not only is the hotel beautiful, the staff team are great. Lee Rodriguez the event coordinator is awesome! She is super quick to respond to emails and did anything she could to help out. The day of the wedding she was there to help calm me down when something didn't go as planned.Maria was super accommodating with our room blocks and even extended the great discount for our family members who booked late. The chef was excellent!! He allowed us to make small changes to personalize menu items and even took his time out after dinner during the reception to thank and congratulate us. Highly recommend!!!

    We did our wedding room block with them and it was great! very affordable for what you're getting, and excellent service! We were treated like royalty since we also stayed there on our wedding night. Would definitely recommend!

    We had our wedding reception at the Embassy Suites on 04/23/16 and everything was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. We booked the venue because we fell in love with Jeraldine who had been so helpful and responsive with our initial questions. Jeraldine was our wedding coordinator throughout the whole process, and she went above and beyond. She was quick to respond to all of the questions we had, and she was just lovely to work with. I am so grateful for Jeraldine as well as the entire hotel staff for making our wedding weekend so wonderful. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, I highly recommend the Embassy Suites!

    I worked with Jeraldine Grillo, Catering Sales Manager. So, I planned my Tampa wedding from NYC, and Jeraldine was super responsive and wonderful to work with. She was quick to get back to me originally with pricing and contracts, she was happy to let me parents come tour the venue before we chose it. Jeraldine was very open about costs and pricing and what we were getting for our money.
    Jeraldine made sure she knew what I was looking for. She was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with.

    Our wedding was last Saturday, 1/23/16, and we had a wonderful event. It was planned so well, and she coordinated all the vendors arrival and breakdown times. I highly recommend Embassy Suites Downtown Tampa. We had a great event and it was a beautiful venue, and just so great about accommodating any guest requests, and my guests said they had a great stay there!

    We originally booked the Embassy Suites after looking at 8 other hotels in the downtown area- they provided the best prices for the size wedding we were anticipating. We worked with Lee from the start- she is amazing! So funny, very informative, gives a lot of suggestions and really makes sure your opinions are heard. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room- although it is not extremely large- felt just perfect for our 200 guests. The food is wonderful! All of our guests raved about each dish we chose (and the bacon wrapped scallops are to die for!) The room looked just how I had always pictured from the very beggining and I couldn't be happier that we chose to have our wedding reception at the Embassy Suites in downtown Tampa. Thank you to all the staff and Lee! :)

    Food was scrumptious! From the hor d'oeuvres, salad, soup, intermezzo and to the main entree, Everything is delicious! Service is great. Jeraldine, the wedding coordinator, is efficient and responsive with her client's needs. Thanks Embassy! You made our night very memorable!

    booked my wedding at the Embassy Suites primarily because of its proximity to my church and also because the prices just could not be beat - almost 50% less than many other hotels I had researched, including the Marriott across the street. However, after we began planning, I was so happy we booked at the Embassy Suites. Kristen Arnold, the catering director, was always available with an answer and solution to any question I had, and was so sweet and enthusiastic and helpful throughout the entire planning process. I truly felt like a valued customer, especially at the tasting, where Kristen and the head and sous chef appeared personally for our tasting to custom design our (delicious) wedding menu. At the actual wedding, the entire Embassy Suites staff absolutely bent over backward to make sure that everything went smoothly, even amidst terrible weather and a convention being held on the same weekend. The wedding was gorgeous and went perfectly, and I cannot thank the Embassy Suites enough for their time, dedication, service, value, and attentiveness throughout the entire planning process and the whole wedding weekend!

    Kristen was great to work with. She was very responsive and quick. She made my wedding day stress free, all I had to do was show up.

    Lee and her staff at the Embassy Suites were amazing. I had nothing to worry about on our special day. The food was just as it was on the day of our tasting and our bartender was perfect. Our ceremony and reception space was just how I pictured it. Our evening was stress free and fun!

    We had a great venue. Maran was awesome at making sure all of our needs were met and she went above and beyond for us. Everyone loved the food and the service- we were even able to create custom drinks and change some food options. Our guests loved the location and they loved hanging out by the pool before the ceremony. I would recommend them for sure!

    I can't say enough about Lee and the INCREDIBLE staff that made my wedding such a success. Every step of the way they were so helpful and understanding of all my questions and concerns. The food was amazing, not what you think of when someone mentions hotel food. The chef worked with us to tweak the menus a little to get exactly what we wanted, and even created a completely new entree just for our wedding. The venues for the cocktail hour and reception are beautiful. I would not do anything different.

    This hotel was amazing! The cocktail hour and food during this time were absolutely delicious. The staff was the best anywhere. Debbie was the server assigned to take care of us (the bride and groom) and the bridal party in our bridal refresher room. She also took care of us in the ballroom. She was fantastic! Maran, our coordinator, was so great to work with from start to finish. I knew when I first walked into the hotel that I would choose this place. It was beautiful inside and out.

    When we did our tasting, we chose Filet Mignon, Chicken Wellington and a vegetarian option for our meals. At the tasting, the food was perfect (filet prepared medium rare to our liking). The only issue at the wedding was that most of the filets were prepared medium to well instead of medium rare.

    Everything else was perfect the entire night!

    Jere Grillo was awesome, She was the assigned wedding coordinator. My ceremony and reception took place there. It was a beautiful setting.

    If I could divide this category between pre wedding planning and day of wedding, the ratings would be different as they were opposite experiences. Overall, the venue was beautiful and the event was a success. However I had problems with communicating with our coordinator Maran through planning, and after. I waited several days for each call back when I had a question. I was unable to get Maran on the phone in time to discuss our hor dourves choices and had to send them to her through email. Although at first contract signing she assured us she would be at the event through dinner service, the week before she informed me she had a class and would have to leave during the ceremony. Her attendance was not in our contract so I couldn't argue. Gabby replaced her and he did a wonderful job, however he was not at attendance during our final meeting to go over the details. Several weeks after the wedding I found out from family that our flower girl and ring bearer were served children meals instead of the steak we paid for. I emailed coordinator 6 weeks ago regarding this mistake and charge overage, and also a problem with our Hilton Honors account that was set up for us that we are unable to access because of wrong information. I have yet to receive a response. Also while the cocktail hour hor dourves were perfection and the service throughout the entire day were impeccable, the dinners were served cold. When I responded with this complaint through the hotel survey they did respond immediately, apologize and offer to treat us to dinner at the hotel but I declined at the time. Since I have heard other brides success stories I am under the impression that possibly it is because I had a smaller wedding on a weekday that I didn't receive the same treatment as a Saturday event. I am sure that these problems I encountered are being resolved, just not with me. Allow me to follow this up with the fact that the day of we received the most professional exquisite service from everyone we encountered and were happy with how the day flowed and would indeed recommend the hotel to others, I would just advise to be more demanding than I was during the planning process.
