    Worth Every Cent for Day of Planning!

    We hired Capella and Empress as our day of planners for our elopement in Montana and rented several items from Empress. The items we rented were fairly priced, exactly as pictured and described, clean, and so cute. They simply have the best selection in Flathead County. We originally worked with Lynn, who was so kind and knowledgeable. I am a highly anxious person with OCD for tiny details and organization, and she made me feel calm every time I talked to her. When it was time for the event itself (and leading up to it) we worked with Capella, and I cannot say enough good things or come up with the words to express how impressed I was. I have seen so many weddings be a complete mess when the day of planner drops the ball, and Capella was calm, organized, on top of it, creative, thoughtful, and executed my vision to a perfect T. I plan events as part of my professional career, and I had extremely high expectations for Capella. She met them, and far exceeded them. I arrived back from our epic photo shoot in Glacier to every single thing done, every person ready to go, and her calm as can be even though we were 45 minutes late from our photos. Capella was worth every single penny I spent and I would hire her again in a heart beat and recommend her to every single person. We came all the way to Montana from Salt Lake City, Utah, and I relied on Capella and Lynn heavily for recommendations and execution of our dream. I can't express how well they did and how impressed I was. THANK YOU CAPELLA!!! I love you, girl!

    One stop shop! Designing, coordinating, and planning

    Lynn and her team at Empress Tents and Events are what you call the dream team. The ladies there knew exactly what we were wanting for our big day. We met with Lynn a few times and through all the confusing explaining of what we wanted, Lynn was easily able to piece it all together. She understood the exact style we were going for without us being able to say exactly what it was! She is very talented and can easily assemble something together to make it look like a master piece.
    Lynn and her team also were able to get things put together with limited timing. We had a few supplies/decorations arrive the day before the wedding... they worked late friday night to complete it all. They are determine, so easy to work with, and so fun! Empress Tents and Events is your one stop stop!

    So much beautiful decor!

    We loved working with Empress! Lynn met with us in the showroom and we were able to pick out everything! We rented two Emerald green velvet clam chairs, a bunch of green and brown goblets, yard games, and a sweetheart table. Everything was perfect! They have such beautiful stuff to select from and all different styles!

    Lynn helped us plan our wedding from afar. We live in Alabama but were getting married in Montana. She did an incredible job taking a few of our ideas and turning them in to a reality. From setup to clean up she did an amazing job. Since the wedding, guests have continued to tell us what a beautiful, elegant, and classy event we had. The day ran so smoothly! We highly recommend Lynn and Empress Tents & Events!

    I planned my wedding in Noxon, MT all the way from TN. I am so glad that I found Empress Tents & Events online while looking for vendors not knowing a lot about the Montana area. Working with Lynn made my planning from afar so much easier and I felt way more at ease placing my wedding vision in her hands. When it came time for the wedding, and we got to meet Lynn in person, she made sure that everything about my wedding was perfect. We had our wedding outside and there was a bad mosquito issue but Lynn helped us remain calm and did some last minute changes to still make everything work out beautifully.

    Including Empress Tents & Events was the best decision for our wedding planning. I highly recommend Lynn and her team to produce a beautiful wedding/event no matter what style you want. She’s got tons of beautiful pieces to choose from! She also make a wonderful planner! Thank you Empress Tents & Events!

    Lynn was extremely professional. Her kind and charismatic attitude made the process smooth and stress free. Her eye for detail and design was everything I wanted when planning my wedding. I highly recommend her and her staff. You won’t be disappointed.

    Rented tents from them and they were great. Lynn also helped me with tux rentals and in purchasing my bridesmaid dresses. She was always willing to answer my questions and help in anyway that she could. Her staff is also very professional and courteous.

    Lynn does an outstanding job! We had an outdoor wedding on our property and she came out ahead of time to talk to us about layout, what we needed to rent, how the ceremony would progress, design ideas, etc. She set all the tables on the wedding day so that we could relax and get ready for the day and they looked beautiful when she got done. She is very adaptable no matter what the weather does. She works very well with other vendors and will just dive in to help wherever she is needed -- telling guests the plans, helping serve food, drinks, cake, clearing tables, etc. When I forgot the plastic forks for the wedding cake no worries, Lynn had an emergency stash in her vehicle. Her crew delivered all equipment on time and were very patient when we wanted to discuss things. I highly recommend Empress Tents and Events.

    Everything you need!

    This place has everything! We planned a destination wedding and definitely didn’t want to tackle linens or furniture pieces. With a little larger budget, I would have rented so much more! Thanks to Lynn and her team for delivering and picking up on time. It definitely made for a stress free experience.

    It is with my sincerest compliments that I recommend Lynn Malmberg and Empress Tents & Events for wedding rentals and as a wedding coordinator and planner. Lynn was my saving grace after a near crisis, when our venue was pulled from us. First, Lynn helped us find our dream venue near West Glacier National Park. We had looked for an outdoor venue with a barn all over Montana, and after our date was taken from us for one location, Lynn helped us find Weatherwood Homestead, owned by Patti Widener. The estate is absolutely gorgeous, and Lynn works as the primary coordinator with her staff alongside the Weatherwood staff. Lynn has a keen sense of style and an ability to bring together all the elements and elegance of country wedding. I felt so confident in her that I told her to make many of the final decisions. I gave guidance on what I wanted and she executed with grace.
    Lynn is also an absolute pleasure to work with because of her level head and ability to keep one on track and calm despite all the details. We averted a few small crises, which were omissions by us, but she pulled it all together. Her staff and the staff at Weatherwood also have wonderful spirits and built an atmosphere of joy for us. I cannot speak more highly of them and Patti Widener and her staff. They gave me my perfect wedding.
    My compliments of Lynn and her staff do not stop there. Lynn went above and beyond what a typical coordinator does and also helped us with tips for other events we hosted, such as a cocktail reception that Big Mountain Resort, fly fishing, rafting, rodeo, etc. The recommendations Lynn made for other venders were also great to work with and gave great service. In particular, Pin N Que and SimpleChef Catering, who provided our bar service and catering, respectively? Anna McCabe at SimpleChef did an impeccable job with the food. It surpassed all our and our guest expectations for catered food at an outdoor wedding. Overall, it was our dream wedding!!!

    We enlisted Lynn from Empress to coordinate our wedding and supply a good portion of our rentals for the wedding. She was nothing short of amazing. She matched our laid back demeanor and always helped us stay on track and reassured us that we were planning for our big day accordingly. We loved her dinner place settings, chairs and various design embellishments that helped make our wedding match our aesthetic and when it was showtime, wedding weekend, she was a rockstar. She had everyone where we needed them, she kept everything on track while still making it feel organic. She always knew what we needed, when we needed it and made sure we had the best wedding possible. If you are looking for a planner, coordinator or rental partner in the Bigfork, Kalispell, Whitefish area, we HIGHLY recommend.

    This event rental place was late. They were to be there by 12 and showed up at 5 pm. Not even a phone call. And they forgot to pick it up the next day after the event

    Empress - Not worth it

    I hired Empress Tents and Events for my rentals for my wedding this year. The items were delivered on time and in good condition. However, they did not update my invoice according to my requests until just a few days before the wedding, after months and weeks of asking, the updates were often incorrect. I signed a contract stating everything would be picked up the afternoon after the wedding, so we had time to stack the chairs in the morning. Upon delivery I was told all 200 chairs would need to be stacked and ready by 8am the next morning, or we pay $5 per chair. I was told the contract was simply wrong and would not be honored. So me (bride) and my husband, and our wedding party spent 2 hours after the reception stacking chairs at midnight. It was awful. It honestly felt like a scam, like they were hoping they could change the terms last minute and could collect the $5 per chair from me. Yes, they have cute stuff, but it is absolutely not worth working with them in my opinion. For what its worth, I complained about the chair pickup the morning of the wedding stating we would not be stacking the chairs, but It was not responded to until 9AM the next day when she knew the chairs would already be gone.

    Stay away - do not use this vendor

    Empress was AWFUL to work with. Not only do they sublease everything from Celebration Rentals (so just rent from them), they barely communicate with you and the terms of the contracts I signed were not honored. Lynn Malmberg from Empress ruined my wedding. When they dropped off all the chairs the day before the wedding, I was told that the pickup time on the contract I signed was incorrect and they would be coming at 8am the day after the wedding to pick everything up or I would be charged $5 a chair. After fighting with Empress the morning of my wedding, I was told to stack the chairs or be charged, that it was not the company's fault that Lynn put the wrong pickup time on the invoice. So after our reception all of our wedding guests had to stack chairs for an hour because Empress cant be bothered to either communicate correctly or stick to the terms of the agreement I signed. I would rather not have a wedding than have to use Empress again.
