    More than a caterer!

    We worked with EvntWrks for our October 2023 wedding and they were fantastic! They provided catering, day-of coordination, rentals (reception tables/chairs/etc. plus dance floor, lights, sound system, and ceremony arch), and decoration set-up and clean-up. Victoria, Danny, and Liz were our main contacts and each of them was extremely helpful, great to work with, and focused on making our wedding turn out just like we envisioned it. They also made sure things went smoothly and we actually got to enjoy the day!

    One reason we selected EvntWrks was because they were a one-stop-shop for almost everything we needed for our wedding, and we are extremely glad we chose them. Working with just one vendor for everything described above greatly simplified our planning process, and Victoria also did a fantastic job coordinating with the other vendors like our shuttle company and the ceremony and reception venue staff.

    Food: We had a buffet-style 130 person reception at a venue with no kitchen for EvntWrks to use, and everything came out great, just like at our tasting. Our guests gave great feedback about the food, including guests with dietary restrictions, whether they were able to select from the buffet or had one of the special meals EvntWrks prepared for certain diets. There was plenty of everything and they moved folks through the buffet efficiently so that everyone had their food in a reasonable amount of time. They also made sure my husband and I actually got to eat, and we enjoyed the food enough to clean our plates!

    Coordination: We hired Victoria through EvntWrks as our day-of coordinator and are so glad we did. Our ceremony and reception were in two different locations and both of them had short (~1 hour) setup windows available because they were venues that were open to the public prior to normal closing time. Victoria did a fantastic job both directly and through the rest of the EvntWrks team to make sure everything was ready at both locations so our guests had a seamless experience. One other reason we hired a day-of coordinator was for any unexpected wedding-day "emergencies" and sure enough, when we got a call from a guest that the shuttle stop was blocked by a road closure and the guests couldn't find the shuttles, all we had to do was tell Victoria and she immediately handled it while we got back to spending stress-free quality time with our party preparing for the ceremony. At the reception, either nothing went wrong or it got resolved so fast we never heard about it, and Victoria and the EvntWrks team always made sure we were having a good time and they made sure to bring food, drinks, and dessert directly to us so we didn't miss out on anything while socializing with our guests!

    Setup/Cleanup: We are typically very "do it yourself" and our family and friends would have been happy to set up all our decorations with us, but because of the two different venues and short setup windows (~1 hour) at each, and the fact that our reception setup window overlapped with our actual ceremony, it just wasn't possible. One of the things that drew us to EvntWrks was the fact that they were willing to set up and clean up in addition to everything else, and they exceeded our expectations on this front. We had relatively complex centerpieces (large home-grown live plants, dozens of origami cranes per table, different sized candles, and favors for every guest), and our guest book and check-in tables were also complex, multi-table affairs with special cameras and instructions. EvntWrks took care of all of it, and all we and our family had to do was enjoy! They let us drop everything off with them ahead of time so we didn't need to transport anything day-of, and their team really listened and cared as I talked through all the decorations at drop-off. They were legitimately enthusiastic about each detail, and that made me feel great! They took great care of even our most delicate decorations and they set everything up perfectly, including some last minute unexpected contributions from family (decorations from previous family weddings and even a huge painting). They even added a few of their own cute and greatly appreciated surprise touches building off our themes and style. It was wonderful to arrive at both the ceremony and reception and see everything look even better than we had imagined!

    Summary: We worked with EvntWrks for the majority of our wedding day needs, and are so happy we did. Each individual aspect was executed amazingly with thought and care. We had been told by so many people that the actual wedding day can be stressful and fly by, and I even run my own large events so it is normally hard for me to turn that off and just relax. However, EvntWrks was so communicative and handled everything so smoothly that we weren't stressed at all and were able to legitimately enjoy every part of our day!

    Great experience!

    EvntWrks provided the plated dinner and passed appetizers for our wedding of around 100 guests in Livermore, as well as day-of coordination. We could not have been happier with the service. Many of our guests complemented us on the food, and Lauren and her team made everything extremely easy and smooth for us.

    Look no further

    Lauren and the Staff at Evntwrks are the best in the business. We had been in contact with Lauren about 6 months out from the wedding date. All we had to do was provide her the information she was looking for, and she took care of the rest. Lauren gave us an inventory of all the goods and services they provided as well as a price sheet. Everything that impressed us on their website and Instagram looked even better in person. She gave us a breakdown of what to expect based on what we were looking for, and went through what we should and shouldn't do so that we can stay within the budget which was really helpful. She even went to the venue (which was 3 hours away) so that we can better plan out what to expect for the day of the wedding.
    The day before our wedding, Lauren arrived with her staff and set everything up, including all the decorations we made ourselves. Lauren made sure to keep all our vendors up to date with latest updates and expectations.
    The wedding day was an absolute dream. They were there every step of the way to make sure that we didnt have to worry about anything. All we had to do was show up and have fun. We received compliments from guests about how amazing the Evntwrks catered food was to how organized the events were throughout the night. Not sure how Lauren does it but she just magically appears when you need her. Their level of communication, dedication to service, and outstanding creative expertise is above expectations.
    We could not have asked to have a better wedding thanks to all the efforts that Lauren and the staff at Evntwrks put in. Thank you!

    Made our vision come to life!

    Lauren (our Evntwrks coordinator) was so wonderful and did such a great job and so did their staff! We didn’t even notice they were there, everything got taken care of. The table setting were so beautifully done and the food was perfect. They did our specialty drinks very well and cleaned up at the end. My only regret was renting our furniture from another company (found them for food/bar after the fact) and with I had rented everything with them, they do everything. Highly recommend!

    Excellent Service and Quality

    We hired Evntwrks for our wedding and we couldn't have had a better experience. They took care of everything from the catering, lighting, sound system and even the day of coordination. Wedding planning can be very stressful, but the moment we signed with Evntwrks we felt such relief knowing that they would take care of the details, and they exceeded our expectations. Danny, Lauren and the whole team were very responsive and easy to work with and they made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Lauren was our coordinator and she was amazing. She attended our final venue walk through with us and gave us suggestions about things we hadn't even thought about, such as ceremony order and logistics. It was evident that she wanted our day to be special and stress free and she delivered.

    The food was delicious and multiple guests stated that it was the best food they've ever had at wedding. The entire staff was great from the set-up, to bar-tending and table service.

    It was so nice to work with one company for all of our needs instead of having to contract out to multiple companies for food, lighting, sound etc. Evntwrks does it all and they do it right!

    Danny and team were beyond amazing. We hired Evntwrks for our wedding day planning, decorating, and catering and they met all of our expectations and more. He was so organized from the first email to the last detail day of. He had a really great presence and calming nature, which always helps when the chaos of your big day is in full effect. He sparked his personal touches throughout the whole planning and helped Brent and I see our vision through to the awesome party we always dreamed of. So so great!

    Don’t book

    Dishonest, unprofessional, doesn’t communicate and poor execution. See my Yelp review for more details.

    I do not recommend working with evntwrks. I had a terrible experience with them through the planning process and poor execution on the day of my wedding. I’ve been trying to contact them for weeks to work this out directly because they owe us money for things we paid for that they didn’t provide but their email was a deflection and didn’t address any of our concerns. Now they won’t respond after emailing 7 people from the company, speaking on the phone with 1, and texting 1.

    Many things went wrong, as expected with weddings, but what’s most disappointing now is that they’re lying to us.


    Danny INSISTED we use him for day of coordination. He told us that if we hire someone, they would get in his way. A few months later I asked if I should hire a coordinator because I didn’t want to expect too much from him and he said absolutely not, he would take care of it. He stopped responding for months so I expressed wanting to hire a coordinator and Liz said no need because they have it under control and I worry too much.

    Their coordination was not well done and now they are denying that they said any of this.

    Along with that, they ran out of food, lost our items, and their staff yelled at guests and were generally extremely rude.

    Event Danny himself argued with me in front of a guest (might I add, he walked up to me, I didn’t initiate this conversation, and it was because of HIS incorrect floor plan)

    I do not think this company is set up well to do wedding or events at all if they can’t communicate with people paying thousands for their events or take accountability for mistakes.

    All of their advertised “departments” are 1-2 people spreading themselves too thin leading to poor execution.

    Liz herself even came up to me to ask what she should do about the floor plan issue. She said “what’s going on guys what are we doing here” I didn’t know how to reply so my photographer and dj tried to help since we couldn’t count on Danny and Liz to figure it out. Things went so poorly that Liz herself even told me she was embarrassed during my wedding. Didn’t want to out her on blast because she was the only positive experience during the planning process but if she or anyone else won’t even reply to me then I’m not sure what else to do….

    Keep in mind this isn’t even half of the things that went wrong but I’ll spare you the time and just warn you to not trust this company.

    Unprofessional and poor quality.

    I’ve been trying to contact evntwrks for a month now and have gotten no response besides lies on Yelp.

    They told me they DO IT ALL. From wedding planning, florals, catering, clean up, etc. After messing things up on my wedding day, they now refuse to take accountability.

    -food did not taste CLOSE to what we tried at our tasting
    -my florals were wilted when I got them (do not believe their Yelp response about me requesting them super early for photos lol no one got their flowers till 30 mins before the wedding. Evntwrks didn’t even get there hours early like they claim)
    -didn’t see all my decor even used at my wedding. Gave hurricanes with candles for a candle lit fire place and this wasn’t done AT ALL but somehow they lost boxes of them?
    -didn’t get back all my floral vases or candle holders and they’re claiming my guests took them all, which is false when not all vases were even put out at the table.
    -they said they do table side services and didn’t provide any. Now they’re saying it’s not their job
    -I was asked to drop my decor off at their warehouse early. They also said they do clean up services. They’re now claiming it’s not part of their job and it’s my fault if anything is missing since I didn’t clean up at the end of the night (mind you, I offered several times in the planning process and was told I didn’t have to worry about it)
    -I was charged PER floral vase and now they’re saying I should’ve only been charged per table but won’t respond about refining my money since I was overcharged
    -floral inspo did not match my quote at all. I paid 40 per vase and each vase had one twig of flowers
    -overall execution of decor was tacky and not what I requested or paid for.
    -they snuck in last minute charges that weren’t on my original tab and then rushed me to pay it without even notifying me they added stuff
    -they taxed the service charge

    They will act like they can handle it all, but then go back on their word after and claim it wasn’t their responsibility in the first place and gaslight you into thinking it’s your fault. I do not recommend this dishonest company. They have no problem taking peoples’ money and not delivering.
