She made our wedding look so magical!
I was considering a few florists at the time I was recommended Lara by my coordinator, but once I met with Lara, I felt like she was transparent, honest, a great communicator, and someone who would be willing to work with me through my vague "idea" I had for my wedding vision.
I am soooo glad she was all of those thing :) Working with Lara was great! she was flexible and willing to meet us wherever our needs were. I i definitely don't know my way around a flower, but she was able to take our very vague requests, and create EXACTLY what we were looking for, while also illuminating the themes I requested- it was so masterful how she and her team executed it all! Lara and her team went above and beyond to make sure there was detail missed for the followers and decor that day... my husband and I were so dazzled by the work she did, and enjoyed her friendly personality. -

I can't express how fortunate we feel to have found this florist. From the moment we talked to Lara for the initial consultation, we knew this was the person we wanted to entrust with all the floral details for my daughter's wedding. She is just the most personable, knowledgeable and helpful person you will work with when planning your wedding. I knew we would be in good hands from the beginning, as she truly showed how much she cared about getting every detail right. She was always willing to accommodate every change and request along the way, and I really enjoyed the journey as I felt very confident that she was the one vendor that I had total confidence in. On the wedding day, Lara and her husband was there before anyone else and was already setting up. I was blown away at how beautiful all the flowers turned out. Even though we had discussed all the details beforehand, I could not have envisioned how carefully crafted and artfully designed everything would be.
Lara is a joy to work with, and her floral artistry is just phenomenal. We are so forever grateful for all her hard work and dedication to making my daughter and her husband's wedding day so very special. -

Flexible, Creative, & Reliable Florist
Lara was one of the most amazing vendors that my husband and I found for our wedding. I was discouraged after speaking to other florists and seeing their price range for what I wanted. From our first phone call, Lara was incredibly transparent about pricing and so willing to work around our budget. She'd even make suggestions on how we could save money while taking into consideration what we wanted and was always looking out for our best interest. When we had to postpone our original date due to COVID, she was patient and flexible with us and when we decided to have a mini wedding instead which required us to get married in an empty church parking lot, she drove over to our venue and made the most helpful suggestions and also helped us visualize how to make the space look beautiful. I trusted her vision and was not disappointed on the day of the wedding when I saw the amazing decor. We got so many compliments from guests. I would 1000% recommend Lara to anyone for their special day. Thank you so much Lara! -

Love all of our flowers with Lara. Everyone at the wedding loved them as well! The flowers stayed a long time after the wedding as well, we were able to enjoy them afterwards. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone! -

I loved working with Lara for our wedding on 10/01. She was so sweet and helpful. I wasn't the best at wording what I wanted for my florals, I couldn't find pictures of things that I loved 100%, but we went through photos and I explained what I liked and didn't like. She listened to me and put together our arrangements perfectly. She worked with me when I was unsure about what containers to use, and she helped me with ways to bring our total down to be easier on our budget. I wish we could get married again and have Lara do our flowers twice! Thank you so much! -

Beautiful design, so easy to work with!
The flowers at my wedding were created by Lara Cerda of Flour and Flower Designs. We were so impressed with Lara. She was so patient and offered so many different suggestions to keep within our budget. I was planning my wedding from across the country and she was very easy to work with and was always available to answer questions and give suggestions. It was quite hot on the day of the wedding and she knew to put the outside flowers that were in the ceremony area at the last minute so they would not wilt and look beautiful. We highly recommend Lara! -

Floral dreams come true
Lara did the flowers for wedding and they were everything I had dreamed about. When I first walked into the venue and saw the flowers I felt a rush of joy. She took all of my ideas and turned them into reality. She is a sweetheart and I would highly recommend her. -

Lara and Davlyn were some of my favorite vendors. They worked with us to make customized flower arrangements and even allowed my fiance to modify the cake recipe! It was wonderful to be taken seriously and to work with such accommodating and creative women. Not to mention that they were by far the most affordable vendors I found in Orange County. Their authenticity and heart comes through in both Lara's flower arrangements and Davlyn's delicious desserts. I would definitely recommend them to all my engaged friends! -

I discovered Flour & Flower after hours of scouring WeddingWire and Instagram looking for a floral designer who I felt would not only understand my vision but would also be cost effective. Flash forward to my venue’s bridal showcase and low and behold Lara and Davlyn were there. It was meant to be! They were both SUCH a pleasure to work with throughout the wedding planning process (and so fun too!). I was one of those brides who knew exactly what I wanted from the start. Flowers: aesthetic, color, types of blooms, a touch of uniqueness, and most importantly florals that would complement our historical venue. Cake: Simple elegance that would suit our sweetheart area’s décor without upstaging it. Lara and Davlyn were on the same page immediately and a beautiful partnership was born. I cannot tell you enough how comforting is was to throw 100% trust into them and know it was going to be amazing! We still get compliments regularly on how amazing the flowers and cake were. THEY WERE THAT GOOD. Thank you again Lara and Davlyn for being such a big part of our big day! -
