I have to say that I couldn’t have asked for a better make-up artist. She and her oh-so-sweet assistant 😊 did an amazing job on my bridesmaids and the rest of my bridal party. The make-up looked flawless on all the girls and Jillian’s airbrush skills are PHENOMENAL. If you’re looking for quality bridal make-up, LOOK NO FURTHER. Free Edge Studio is IT. I’m very into make-up and could easily tell that all of their products were of GREAT quality. I was beyond impressed with their services and will be going back to have my make-up done for any future events. -

When I was hiring a makeup artist for my wedding, I was looking for someone who not only did amazing work but also made me feel comfortable, had good energy and was someone I wanted to spend time with the morning of my wedding! That person was Jill! She is an incredible artist and is just a good, kind human being. She is truly incredible at her craft & totally understood my vision. She did my bridal shower makeup as well as my wedding makeup & I felt so beautiful for both events as did all of my bridesmaids! I can't say enough good things about Free Edge Studio! -

Jillian is incredible!
Jillian was incredible to work with leading up to our wedding and on the wedding day. She not only did a beautiful job with everyone’s makeup, she went above and beyond in helping me locate a hair stylist. I absolutely loved my makeup and so did everyone else. She was incredibly patient and flexible as people changed their minds from wanting traditional to airbrush makeup on the day of. She went with the flow and helped to make the day seamless. I would absolutely use Jillian again if I ever needed to get my makeup done in the Poughkeepsie area. She is a dream to work with! Thank you for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day! -

Fantastic Makeup
I got married 9/29/23 and Jillian was absolutely fantastic about not only bringing my vision to life, but at accommodating all of my girls and their various looks. She was enthusiastic the entire time, and super friendly which helped to put everyone at ease. I can’t say enough about how amazing my experience was with her and her assistant. -

Bride/wedding
Jill was absolutely phenomenal to work with! She is very attentive to what your dream look should be! Everything was flawless & lasted all night. I did not have to touch anything up once! I had 1 bridesmaid who didn't want their make up done and last minute changed her mind after seeing how beautiful of a job Jill did. Her personality is also unlike any other, very easy to conversate with (no awkward sitting in a chair for an hour lol thank goodness!) I would recommend her a million times over! -

The best of the best!
Jillian was absolutely amazing to work with for my March 2023 wedding! From my makeup trial in her studio, to her flexibility in fitting my bridal party and myself in first thing the morning of my wedding day, she is a true rockstar! Her studio was beautiful and she made me feel so comfortable, like I was chatting with an old friend. I discovered Jillian through her portfolio and her work on fashion week but it was her meeting with me and her personality that sealed the deal.
Her portfolio showcased her work on a variety of nationalities, skin types, and tones which was important to me because of the diversity of my wedding party.
She dedicated time to work with me before the wedding. On the day she and her assistant, Christine, handled 5 bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, a flower girl and me with time to spare.
She is efficient, has a great team, and is excellent at translating your vision into reality.
I would highly recommend Jillian and Free Edge for your wedding. -

Engagement Photos
I hired Jillian as my makeup artist for my engagement photos. My fiancé and I had to make a sudden, last minute change of the photoshoot date due to a bad weather forecast, but Jillian was flexible and understanding of the situation. The day of, I had a great experience with Jillian, and I found her to be very personable, nice, and funny. My airbrush makeup looked very natural, which is exactly what I wanted. My makeup looked perfect and did not budge from the time I left her studio at 12:30 PM through my entire shoot, which was in the evening. I would definitely recommend booking her. -

Jillian Schiavo is a beautiful person inside and out. She made me and my wedding party feel at ease and look beautiful on my most important day. She is very communicative and listens to her clients, always with a calm and cheery demeanor, even in times of stress! Best Makeup Artist I Ever Had!
Jillian was an incredible makeup artist for my wedding day and I would highly recommend her services! Not only is she a talented and professional makeup artist but she also made me feel extremely welcomed. She has a very easy-to-talk-to nature and ultimately was such a pleasure to work with. I booked last minute and literally had my trial the week of my wedding, but Jillian made the booking process so easy and worked with me as schedules changed. My family also had their makeup done by Jillian and were blow away by her incredible talent! I had so many compliments the day of - I felt so beautiful! I also learned so much from our time together and finally know how to do my eyebrows correctly now :D Highly recommend Free Edge Studio for all your makeup needs! -

Absolute perfection!

Jillian was such a joy to work with! I felt like a queen and all my bridesmaids looked amazing. We had a large number of women that needed their makeup done in a short period of time and Jillian was so on top of it! She and her assistant worked practically non stop and everyone was so happy with their makeup. I literally couldn't recommend Jillian more highly, if you're looking for a quality experience, Jillian is your girl! -

Very passionate about her work.
Jillian is one of the best makeup artist in the Hudson Valley. Being a woman of color finding the right makeup artist was very important for me. During my daughter wedding we were looking for a makeup expert for a good three months before we found Jillian. Her work was simply beautiful! Jill was totally amazing, her and her assistant were so sweet to me and all my bridesmaids. We all had different luxe we were going for, some wanted more make up than others and they nailed each and everyone. My make up looks good all night, even when I got home after the wedding. She also did my nails a few days prior and they photographed amazing as well! I would highly recommend her.Free Edge Studio's reply:
