Perfect in every way
Jose was absolutely outstanding! Communication was great. He was involved the whole night and made sure everything went off without a hitch. I would recommend him to ANYONE. There was never a lull, music flowed with precision. He made sure we were comfortable with everything. Even when there was last minute issue he was a true professional and stepped up and made sure things were taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better dj!!!Jose was absolutely outstanding! Very Experienced & Great Energy!
Our DJ Jose with Paradise Weddings was communicative and flexible during the planning phase, and went above and beyond to ensure he was connected with other vendors and the venue, so that our special day was error-proof and seamless. The music provided for our Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception enlivened all of our guests. Jose, himself, was high energy and humorous! In addition to his skills, he also had a great Junkanoo band recommendation that he coordinated; they knocked it out of the park! A great experience!
We had a great experience working with Jose, and would highly recommend him for events. Couple of things that stood out:
(1) Exceptionally responsive - super quick to reply back to emails (and we sent quite a few in the week or so leading up to the event)
(2) Created a friendly and fun environment, and played a great variety of music. Literally everyone at our wedding was up on the dance floor
(3) Helped with other vendors (e.g. live steel drums for the cocktail hour). This gave our event a personalized touch, and was something we didn't have the bandwidth to put together ourselves.
Overall, we got exactly what we were looking for, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jose and his team.We had a great experience working with Jose, and would highly recommend him for events. Couple of things that stood out:

Arnold did an amazing job, he rolled with the punches when my rowdy crew stole the mic, knew when to cut the sound lol!! He had all the music we wanted a huge variety. No Other DJ Even Compares
As soon as we got engaged we already knew who our DJ would be. Jose was the first person we booked. He is without a doubt the best DJ on the island. His ability to read a crowd is unmatched and our guests literally never left the dance floor. A week before the wedding we spoke with him and he played all of the Greek songs to make sure that he had the right ones selected so that there were no surprises on our wedding day. He is also such a kind guy and a real pleasure to work with. I would not trust another DJ the way that I trust Jose. I knew instantly I would be able to rely on him to make the night perfect. We danced the entire night and everyone at our wedding had a blast. This company did a fantastic job. We had a rainy day and he did what he could to keep the party going! We had an outside set up and he moved everything inside without question once the rain came. DJ Jose took time out of his schedule to meet with us in person on the island prior to the wedding, and he was very approachable and receptive to our ideas. To be honest, we are not music people & we gave DJ Jose a loose list of songs we wanted played. We asked him to "feel out the crowd" and choose the music accordingly. We wanted a full dance floor and that is exactly what we got throughout the night! We also asked him to incorporate a few Lebanese songs with the traditional debke dance, which he did smoothly. He integrated this in so well that all the guests joined in and stayed on the dance floor. My Wife and I got married on the beach with about 60 guests this past April. We organised everything our selves and the best decision we made was hiring Jose and Freedom Sounds to do our music. They went above and beyond to make our wedding as special as it was.
The first thing is - Jose was %100 professional from the first call. He helped to lay out the timing of the wedding the way we wanted it. He offered advice that was so needed and all his suggestions turned out to be spot on. On the day of the wedding they were totally on point. He was set up and tested well ahead of time and ready to go on our schedule.
When it came time to do the deed Jose was awesome! The sound for the ceremony was just right and once that was completed the cocktails and reception began. The music for the cocktail hour was perfect and once the party began Jose had our reception jumping from start to finish. It happened to rain for a couple of minuets and Jose didn't miss a beat. He took requests all night and still managed to keep everyone on the dance floor. He even had the mother of the groom on the floor, something never seen before.
If you are planning a wedding in the Bahamas I would strongly advise giving Freedom Sounds your very first call. Our wedding day was PERFECT. From his PA services to the wedding reception at Luciano's, and dance following, he and Sue (Luciano's) worked together to make this the most memorable day of our lives. No one, at any point, left the dance floor. Our guests danced the night away under the stars with perfect songs, perfect music (starting at dinner) and continuing on until the last song of the night. Our family and friends raved about Jose and said it was the most fun wedding reception they've ever been to.
Jose is so laid back, so friendly, SO easy to work with-- All while being a perfectionist! (Which any bride can appreciate!)
Thank you, Jose, for being our DJ, our friend and our wedding coordinator for this amazing week in our lives. (yes, he coordinated ANY thing we wanted- he probably needs to charge more for his services:)

Jose is so laid back, so friendly, SO easy to work with-- All while being a perfectionist! (Which any bride can appreciate!)
Thank you, Jose, for being our DJ, our friend and our wedding coordinator for this amazing week in our lives. (yes, he coordinated ANY thing we wanted- he probably needs to charge more for his services:)

We'd been to a few weddings at which Freedom Sound Productions (Jose) was the DJ so when it came time to select vendors for our wedding we knew we wanted Jose. Our wedding guests were equally from the US and The Bahamas and they spanned several generations. Jose's experience with local events and destination weddings keeps him in the loop of what music is popular in many cultures. His Spanish background was a plus since the grooms family is Cuban.
Something about the "DJ booth" attracts kids and Jose is great at letting them "help" him while not interrupting the great music.
One tip is to listen to his recommendations. He has tons of experience. I tried to save a few dollars and supply my own speakers and music for a pre-reception at a different location and it was a disaster until Jose saved me since he arrived early to set-up.
