Chef Doug and his team were well organized and a pleasure to work with. He responded timely to any questions I had and was willing to cook anything I asked for. The food was delicious and my guests were raving about it. His pricing was fantastic and beat any other vendors I inquired about in taste and price of food! Thanks for everything Chef Doug! -

You guys. It was SO GOOD!!
We hired Doug and his crew to do a plated meal for our wedding in Nov 2020. First of all, the food was delicious the night of--even better than when we went for the tasting. One of my bridesmaids is vegan, and she said it's the best wedding food she's ever had. It's also incredibly well-priced. We needed to do a plated meal because of covid, and I called all over to price compare. This is the best deal out there.
Doug and his team were also simply wonderful to work with. The night of, everyone's seating got mixed up, which means they no longer knew which dishes needed to be served to which tables. They ran with it, and I hardly even heard that it had happened. -

We had the most amazing food created by chef Doug and his team! Everyone keeps talking about how delicious everything was from cocktail hour to dinner! His communication was on point the entire time as well! We are soooo glad we booked with him! Highly recommend! -

Chef Doug and his staff were awesome. I gave him an idea of what I was thinking and he sent me the menu. I’m a professional chef myself and was very focused on the food that was being served. Everyone loved everything! My favorite was the shrimp and grits! Yum! His cost was wonderful too considering the variety we had! -

Doug was the best! We knew we were going to love everything when we were just trying to put together a menu- he knew exactly what we wanted! The food was amazing all of our guests commented on how great it was and it was DELISH. They knew the bride wanted a certain app and made sure to bring us over some during our pictures because we were so excited to have it! -

Kaitlin Sent on 05/22/2016Chef Doug and his staff were outstanding! We planned our wedding from out of state so we had one chance to meet with our vendors before our wedding. When we met with Chef Doug it would have been nice to have tasted some samples but he didn't know we wanted to.. We kind of took a leap of faith. However the food was absolutely perfect, at the right temperatues, and full of flavor. We wanted something all of our guests would remember from our wedding and I believe the food that night everyone will always remember! My family is still talking about how delicious everything was. -

They went above and beyond for the menu and the staff was very professional. They helped make our day perfect. They were worth every penny and they were still reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for the very best and unique to exactly what you're looking for! -

We had a destination wedding in Sarasota, and with help from my wedding coordinator we decided Fun With Food would cater our small, special day! I was a little nervous because this company is strictly a catering company, therefore I had never tasted one thing they prepare before my wedding day. It was a hunch, am I could not be happier. This food is some of the best I've tasted and one of the best meals I have ever had. Food aside, Chef Doug was amazing as well! His rentals were delivered first thing in the morning, his staff was thorough and on point, and the Chef himself was extremely impressive. He was there all night to make sure everything went smoothly. When we had a couple changes to bring to him, he was more than happy to accommodate. I can not thank this company enough and I am still dreaming about the food! -

Doug Hitchings I had never met, but heard amazing things about him while planning my destination wedding in Anna Maria. Thankfully I took some advice and reached out to Doug! He is not only the best chef but an incredibly caring person. He will work with your budget and make the absolutely best tasting food you will ever have! My only regret was that I missed eating a big portion of the food at my wedding because we were so busy. I heard that my best friend ran back to the fondue three times and fought guests for the rest! We hired Doug and his incredibly customer oriented staff for our wedding and also for a brunch the next day. If anyone is
looking to knock the socks off their guests with delicious food and customer service don't go anywhere else than Fun with Food Catering! Doug is the best in the business!! Thank you Doug to you and your staff for making our day beyond what we could ever have imagined when it came to food and service!
