Deborah is an amazing hair stylist!!! She works together with you months before your wedding recommending products to treat your hair to make it still more beautiful in your Big Day. I was extremely happy with Deborah as my wedding hairstylist. She knows how to work with curly hair which is something I was looking for and did a great job with my hair. It looked gorgeous and it held up the entire day and evening despite it being very windy. She is passionate and professional with her work. She offered an additional complimentary hair trial to make sure that my wedding day hair would be exactly what I wanted. I would have her do my hair again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her services! -

Deborah did my hair for my wedding--
my top reason I picked her is because she is so calming and sweet to be around. I knew that the morning of my wedding I would be really nervous, and she has the perfect temperament for a stressed out bride.
She also did a WONDERFUL job with my hair. My wedding pictures are absolutely gorgeous and my hair was just how I wanted--very low maintenance, soft, and loose.
She also did my mom's hair last minute!

Kristen Sent on 05/21/2018We were so elated to find out that Deborah with Gainesville Wedding Hair was available for our wedding date. She even coordinated Kaitlyn to do my makeup. Deborah was flexible with scheduling the hair and makeup trial and the results were better than I could have ever dreamed. Deborah went out of her way to accommodate me on the day of, even offering to play some of my favorite music when we were getting ready. User2415739 Sent on 11/08/2015I was very happy with Deborah's wedding hair services! Our wedding was in Gainesville, but I live in Connecticut, so I needed to do everything long-distance. She was very accommodating, and I did my trial when we arrived in Gainesville a few days before the wedding. She remembered all of the things we talked about from the trial and made my hair perfect for the wedding. The styling lasted the whole day, and I was very satisfied! Thanks!! -

Deborah did my daughter's hair for both the wedding and the after photos a week later. She was lovely with all of us, her prices were not only readonable, but very afordable for this very special day. I cannot say enoug good things about her. My daughter married on 2010, but her expertise is a treasured memory of that day. The wedding was more formal than the "after" pictures a couple of weeks later.

User1059166 Sent on 01/04/2013I found Deborah's prices to be high - when she told us that each bridesmaid's hair would cost $70 we said that we couldn't ask them to pay that and would have to go elsewhere. She offered us a deal, $50 each for the girls and I would pay full price for my own up-do. We left deposits with her and scheduled a pre-wedding trim. The reasonI rated Deborah low on professionalism is because she doesn't have a contract - we completly took her on her word when she offered us the deal. When I came back to have my hair trimmed about a month before the wedding, she had forgotten that she had offered us a deal, and insisted that everyone pay full price. This is partly my fault, because at the very least I should have scribbled something on a piece of paper and had her sign it. It put us in a difficult position because we had already left her a lot of money in deposits,which we would lose if we took our business elsewhere. We ended up covering the extra cost for the bridesmaids, but it left a sour taste in my mouth.
Also, I would highly recommend to have Deborah travel to you on the day of your wedding. The Salon (Creekside clippers) was a little dirty. When she took me back to have my hair washed, she had to wipe down the shampoo station, which was covered in brown gunk.
The hairstyles themselves came out lovely. The hair that she does is very beautiful and were very secure through a full day and night. She took a lot of time to set everyone's hair, and spent extra time making sure my hair was perfect when I wasn't completely confident after my trial. I was very happy with the end result, but am not sure whether I would go back or not.Gainesville Wedding Hair's reply:
I think you misrepresented me in your review.
No where in my or e-mails to you or notes did I mention a discount. When you were paying the deposits you seemed upset at my prices. Since l am genuinely interested in making my brides happy I offered to do your moms hair for free. Which I did the day of your wedding. This review is the first I have ever heard of a large party discount.
I also gave you a second FREE wedding trial. Not because you were unhappy with the first but because you changed your mind on the style. You also sent me pictures of how you wanted your bridesmaids hair but the day of you told me a different style. The other thing you changed was the number or people booked for your wedding party from 6 to 5. And you also changed the time we were to get started and location of where you were having your hair done. I think I should get a 5 star plus for flexibility!
At the end of the day I am happy that you were pleased with the hairstyles themselves. I really love doing wedding hair not just for the money but the joy it brings my clients. I will use your comments in a constructive way to improve my services.
