    Excellent Service

    We worked with Gastrotruck for our wedding reception food. We were wanting a more casual, hors-d’oeuvre feel to follow our sunset wedding. We had a great tasting with them, and felt strongly in supporting this small business. Catherine was extremely helpful when talking over room layout for guests, as food service was a little different style + COVID. We made some last minute food changes, and her verbal descriptions matched what we saw on our wedding day which was really impressive. They were really easy to work with and we had no issues come up with them. I heard rave reviews from the guests regarding the food. They were thoughtful enough to set aside a little snack for my husband & I to have as a late night snack, which we truly appreciated. Thank you for making our wedding day special!

    Amazing wedding experience

    My wife and I loved working with Gastrotruck on the catering for our wedding. We used Gastrotruck for our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding reception (appetizers, dinner and late night food). All of the food turned out amazing and the day of service was very well executed. We received tons of compliments on the food!

    Everyone at Gastrotruck very responsive and flexible as we were forced to significantly downsize our wedding at the last minute - from reworking our entire menu to going the extra mile to serve our food in the safest way possible - Gastrotruck partnered with us every step of the way. We could not have asked for a better catering service experience!

    Amazing! Taco bar was a huge hit!!

    We had Gastrotruck do a drop-off taco bar for our wedding and we're so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it. The tacos were a lot of fun and they include a lot of great toppings. They set up the buffet beautifully and were on time, professional, and did a great job. We worked with Nina and she was super helpful, responsive, and answered all of our questions. She was very up-front with pricing and helped us figure out everything from quantity, dietary restrictions, timing, etc. Overall us and our guests loved the food, the price was very reasonable, and they were great to work with!

    I cannot say enough about our experience working with Gastrotruck! They absolutely blew us away and went above and beyond an expectation we ever had. My husband and I planned our wedding from Seattle, and they were more than accommodating, planning two separate tastings for us and our families while we were back visiting. Beyond that, Moe was so responsive to every little question that we had and even drove the 1.5 hours to our venue before the wedding to scope it out and make sure that everything would run smoothly. Most importantly, the food was delicious!! It was so important to us to have unique, delicious food at our wedding, and the fact that it was all locally sourced added so much to that. The best part is that they were able to serve all 150 of our guests in quite literally the blink of an eye. If we could do it all again, Gastrotruck would definitely still be our #1 food choice. They've made lifelong fans and customers out of not only us, but our friends and families!

    Gastrotruck was truly amazing. Their food was AWESOME and the folks there are so flexible and let us create our own menu from scratch! Highly recommend!!

    We recently used Gastrotruck to cater our wedding reception and they were amazing to work with!! Catherine worked closely with us to come up with a menu of simple (yet delicious) food truck fare for a casual (non-sit down) dinner at the Day Block Event Center. We choose to serve braised beef brisket and red lentil sliders with sides of beer cheese nachos, Yukon Gold potato salad and a kale slaw. Everything tasted amazing, and we got wonderful feedback from our guests about the food. We also contracted our bartenders and servers through Gastrotruck and they were professional, friendly and effective. I would definitely use Gastrotruck again for an event, and will be a regular at their food truck around town!!

    We were blown away by our dessert bar. SO TASTY. Everyone loved it.

    I really enjoyed working with them because they did everything custom made for us. They even let us come up with our own cupcake flavors. I provided all the stands and so on that we had made and they decorated the dessert table.

    It was fantastic. :)

    Working with Gastrotruck was great! We first tasted their food during one of the art crawls, it was absolutely delicious! After learning from our friends that they had booked Gastrotruck for their wedding we followed suite. Working with Catherine was amazing. We tasted a lot of options for food and bounced ideas off of each other on our menu and what would work for us and our guests, we are so happy with how everything turned out! And our guests cannot stop raving about the black bean burger! Catherine also helped us out with rentals - tables, linens, chairs, heaters, etc. and we are so happy with how everything turned out!

    Gastrotruck did an amazing job with our wedding! Moe was very organized and worked really hard to make sure our wedding came together how we wanted, including meeting with us multiple times before the wedding. The food was wonderful! We go so many compliments on it and even some of our fussier relatives liked it. Using the truck makes it more casual and fun, which is what we were going for, but they will do plated or a buffet as well. Gastrotruck uses local and organic ingredients, which is very cool, but also means it is a little more expensive than you might think from a food truck. We were so, so happy with the service and most of all the delicious food!!

    Amazing wedding experience!

    We had such a great experience working with GastroTruck for our wedding! They are total pros at feeding folks quickly and efficiently, and many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was. All the GastroTruck folks were amazing to work with, and our package was very reasonably price. Highly recommend!

    Very accommodating to our desires and needs. Food was exceptional as always. We love seeing their food truck in neighborhood and knew that they were trusted to do a fantastic job by our venue, Bauhaus Brew Labs, as they frequent their brewery often. Thank you so much, Catherine!

    Our guests were so excited to learn we used a food truck as our catering service. We chose to serve out of the truck (since that's the point of hiring one!) and they were able to accommodate 140-150 guests quickly and easily. We got so many compliments about our choice in sliders (blackbean, shredded beef, turkey wildrice) and even those reluctant to try our choice of sliders and sides ended up raving about them in the end.

    Gastrotruck's food was absolutely phenomenal, and the food-truck vibe was perfect for our farm reception. They were great at accommodating dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) as well as our special request for an ice cream sundae bar. I give them 4.5 stars instead of 5 because at our initial stages of communication it could be a little hard to get a hold of them or receive a prompt reply. As the event got closer, however, communication was great and our final meeting with Moe left us confident that the food and flow of service was going to go splendidly, as it did.

    Gastrotruck was a perfect fit for our very personalized wedding this last summer. We didn't want to seat everyone in a traditional style, and the food truck service allowed us to keep a more casual atmosphere. Their food was amazing, and they provided great service for our guests. They also provided us with compostable glassware as an additional service. They also have a wide-ranging menu, so finding a good taste fit should be no problem.

    Very happy and would highly recommend working with them for your event.

    Excellent food for the guests

    Fantastic experience, amazing food, great service and super cool evening. The only (and I do mean only) disappointments were in our trouble communicating, for example, about tables (I spent a lot of money on linens that were not needed.) Also, although we asked them if they could leave us some of the leftovers (and they agreed in advance and there were leftovers) they didn't leave anything behind except a few cookies. I held back eating a lot through the event thinking I could try things later... but nope, the refrigerator was empty. It was frustrating because at one point, the staff was eating around the truck.

    After our first meeting with Catherine we were so excited and booked instantly. The food was great and we loved the idea of having a food truck at our wedding. Catherine was so easy to work with and so nice! About a month before the wedding we received our quote with the items we selected at the food tasting and several items were higher than on our original quote. Getting everything squared away took way too many emails and brought unnecessary stress just a few weeks before the wedding.

    On our wedding day we were expecting to have real silverware (not plastic) and glassware, both of which were not at our wedding. The silverware was a communication issue... we had asked about it during the tasting and were told it would be there (the manager made it seem like a standard item), but it was an up charge that we were not aware of. The glassware was apparently at the venue, but did not get used (still not really sure what happened). Also, food service ran 30+ minutes longer than usual, which meant we had to rearrange our agenda as we had guests outside at the truck when we were suppose to be doing toasts/speeches.

    Overall we really liked the food and the vibe of the food truck. Communication could have been better. A menu that clearly lists all food options and prices would have also been nice to have. The missing items and slow service was a bummer. Hopefully these things get fixed, but I have to rate GT 3/5 based on our experience.

    I considered using gastrotruck for my wedding caterer in June of 2014. I emailed to inquire and got a quick response. I then set up a time to talk to Catherine. She was late to call me but was apologetic. We then talked about what I wanted and needed from her. She said that she would send me a proposal sometime over the next couple of days. Four days passed but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and sent her an email asking if I possibly I over looked her email and trashed it. No response. Another two days passed so I called her and left her message to see when I could expect to see the proposal. She never called me back. It has been almost two weeks since we talked and haven't heard anything. So good luck if you try to work with them.
