    Desta and her team did such a fabulous job on my wedding .. super easy to get ahold of and very nice to talk to. This sure isn’t there “first rodeo”. Giants Ridge and their team do an outstanding job. I had a wedding of about 275ppl and timing for the plated meals, was very reasonable . They sure know how to cater to you. Can’t say enough good things about my experience with Giants Ridge, The Chalet, The Quarry, and Desta. Great job!

    We’ve hosted our annual golf outing at Giant’s Ridge for quite some time. The service and attention we were given this year, was unmatched. We host 250 people, and the space and service were spot on. Occasionally we have a guest who gets a little unruly or rowdy, and the staff is very patient with each guest. They set up quickly and exactly the way we needed it. Food was ready in advance of the time we needed it.

    Everything was perfect! The food was exceptional and the staff very helpful, kind, and accommodating to our guests. We received so many positive comments from our guests! So glad we chose Giant’s Ridge for our daugther’s wedding. Kudos also to Bridal Family Decorating and Eveleth Floral who made the venue look absolutely breathtaking and Pep’s Bakery for the wonderful cake and cupcakes.

    We had a 3 day corporate event at Giants Ridge and I have to say overall how impressed I was with the venue as well as all the folks we interacted with. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they responded to our needs immediately and took extremely good care of our large group. The food was fabulous!! The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. All the staff was absolutely top notch! I cannot say enough good things about our overall experience at Giants Ridge!

    The entire staff was wonderful. Very responsive and efficient and nice to work with. The food was great including the appetizers. The presentation was nicely done. I would recommend the Burnt Onion to others. Our event was celebrating a milestone anniversary

    We had a wedding here for about 290 people in June and it was PERFECT! Desta and Jim are a great team and so easy to work with. They catered to our every need, our specific food requests, and our floor layout. They hoped on the phone with our wedding planner numerous times to ensure we had the perfect day. Jim even pulled our chairs in and out as we were sitting and standing during speeches. I 10/10 recommend having your wedding with Desta and Jim at The Chalet!

    Wedding Review- June 2, 2018

    The team at Giants Ridge truly made our dream wedding come true. During every step of the process the team helped us navigate the steps, were very responsive to emails and calls and provided ideas along the way. They sat down with us to learn our goals and expectations, helped brainstorm food/drink items to meet our cost needs and were open to unique requests. They helped us create amazing and affordable appetizers and signature cocktails to fit our needs and taste. The food/wine tasting with both our parents exceeded expectations and really helped narrow down items

    During the setup, reception and takedown the staff were extremely accommodating and provided a level of professionalism beyond expectations. We had planned to have an outdoor wedding, but a monsoon engulfed the area and the team quickly and seamlessly changed the location of the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Tons of guests commented on the food and said “that was the best wedding meal I’ve ever had”. We couldn’t agree more. We enjoyed every aspect of the venue and service and with lodging next door our guests only walked 150 ft to their rooms.

    We can’t thank the staff at Giants Ridge enough for making our dream wedding come true!

    Beautiful Venue

    We loved our venue and while not everything went exactly as planned, Giants Ridge is stunning!

    Poor communication

    The venue itself is beautiful. However, communication with the staff is terrible. My fiancee and I toured giants ridge in August and were ready to place a deposit to hold a date. Jim, the wedding coordinator, said he would get us a quote within five days and we could place a deposit at that time. After two weeks of not hearing back, I emailed Jim to follow up. He said it was just a busy wedding season but that it was on his list of things to do. About two weeks later, I received an email from Jim asking if we would like to reserve a date because he was getting interest from other couples. I emailed back saying that we would and which date we would like to reserve. It's been weeks and I still haven't heard back from him. I have sent multiple emails and left messages on his voice-mail. I even mentioned that we were open to looking at other dates if our first choice filled. Not a single response.. At this point, we've moved on to another venue that has been extremely helpful and responsive. I would save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. Their lack of care is obvious.

    Giants Ridge's reply:

    We are so sorry to hear about your frustrations. Unfortunately Jim is no longer with Giants Ridge since late August. We sincerely apologize for the delay in communication due to the turnover of staff. Should anything change with your set plans please give us a call and we will work with you.
