  We had the ceremony and reception at the GVGCC and it was beautiful! The food was delicious, the staff was very professional and extremely helpful, and the space looked gorgeous.

  We had our ceremony and reception at GVCC. The employees worked SO hard behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly. They held all our decor at the venue before and after the wedding which made it very convenient for us! My only complaint is that my fiance couldn't golf at their course on the wedding day but I understand why they have strict rules about that.

  Golden Valley Golf and Country Club was absolutely beautiful for our ceremony and reception! Both Joe and Elly were phenomenal to work with and they made the day of the wedding run extremely smoothly. They handled any issues that came up very professionally and did everything they could to make us and our guests happy. We highly recommend this venue and their awesome staff!

  GVGCC was superb. They were on top of everything from the time of arrival to the end of the evening. We chose the wedding package which was a little spendy, but well worth it. They took care of everything so the day was perfect. They even helped take down things at the end of the evening. I can't say enough good things about them. Joe was exceptional. Very personable and freindly and made sure everything went smooth. Thank you so very much.

  GVGCC was so awesome. The food was fantastic and the venue is truly beautiful. We feel so fortunate to have found them. The ballroom is large and spacious and the natural light in the room is truly lovely. The coordinators were such professionals and the food is truly mind-blowing. I am gluten free and they made all all of our meals gluten free and even made our late evening snacks gluten free just for me and a few of our gluten free guests. They were really wonderful and our guests could not say enough positive things about the venue and the food. Thank you GVGCC!

  The GVGCC is such a beautiful venue. We had an early December wedding and it was decorated beautifully for the season. Garland, a few poinsettias, and lovely fir trees adorned the ballroom and hallway. It was seasonally appropriate, but not too "Christmas-y." We didn't want a Christmas-themed wedding, so these decorations were beautiful for winter. Lots of clear lights were on the trees outside which looked gorgeous as guests arrived at dusk. Elly, one of the catering and banquet managers, was our main contact person. Although she was a bit hard to get ahold of at times, she really made sure everything was perfect for our day. I knew that she would work with the other vendors to make sure things went flawless on our wedding day, and I had no doubt that everything was going to look and be amazing. Joe was there for our final meeting and throughout the entire reception and was a wonderful presence and contact that night. He would give us a heads up as to what needed to happen next, but not in a pushy way. The food was phenomenal and I received dozens of comments and praise for the meals. One friend, who has been to probably over a hundred weddings, said it was probably the best food she'd ever had at a wedding before. We had strip steak, chicken en croute, and cheese tortellini for our meal options. The appetizers were unbelievable as well. I felt very comfortable and confident in our decision to have our reception at GVGCC. It was a gorgeous night, and things went as perfectly as they possibly could have, much in part to the fantastic staff at GVGCC. My husband and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful setting with impeccable service and food.

  Overall the event was amazing! The venue was gorgeous and the staff was very accommodating. They did some times take a few weeks to return my calls and emails during the planning process but everything came together really nicely and our wedding day was truly wonderful.

  Golden Valley Country Club did a great job with my Labor Day weekend wedding. The location was gorgeous, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Golden Valley helped me from start to finish and everything went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend Golden Valley to any couple!

  Overall, we are extremely happy we went with Golden Valley Country Club for our wedding reception. We had a Friday wedding so saved a lot of money because the room charge was waived. The food was excellent and all of our guests were very impressed. They have a great space and we loved the setup for both the cocktail hour and the dinner. GVGCC was very accommodating with any sort of special requests we had, and Vicki, the day-of banquest manager was one of the best parts about the day. She was very calm, professional, available for all of our needs, and one of the nicest people we worked with through the whole process. During the entire planning process, it was sometimes hard to get a response back from the sales and catering manager. I often had to email her my questions a few times before I would hear back.   Loved the facility, but the service was poor. The lack of coordination led to a very stressful wedding day for myself (mother of bride) and many other family members. Great day of event staff, but poor prior coordination and communication.
