  Dreamy and timeless photography

  Choosing Hannah as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made! After a wonderful experience with our engagement photos, we were confident our wedding pictures would turn out great – and they did. Hannah and Daniel captured beautiful, classic, and timeless moments. The photo quality is outstanding; you can zoom in and see every detail on my dress with clarity.
  
  Hannah's skill in posing made the process easy, even with our large wedding party and family. We had a 10-hour package on our wedding day and received over 2,000+ photos! We received our photos just a month after the wedding, which is impressive compared to other experiences I've heard. We're genuinely ecstatic with the results and plan to use Hannah again for future family portraits. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and great shots make her highly recommended.   Highly recommend!

  As we were looking for wedding photographers for our special day, our planner recommended several photographers for us to choose. We met with multiple photographers and ultimately decided to continue with Hannah Charis - it was the best decision that we made and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for photography services! From the first meeting with her at her sweet professional home studio, we were impressed with her work and her interactions with us. She was very organized and thorough - even providing us with her own professional magazine to take home explaining all the details we needed to alleviate any nerves that we had during the entire process. We scheduled an engagement session with her as well and she guided us through location suggestions and best times to be able to capture our best shots. We were initially nervous and worried for our session since we hadn't had any experience in photo sessions, posing, or making sure that we didn't look awkward or blink too many times during snapshots. During the session, Hannah made it very seamless, fun, and stress-free. She was extremely patient and clearly guided us with how to pose, where to place our hands/feet, and what areas would be best. She even brought a pop-up tent for our outfit change space since she knew there would not be a restroom nearby to change - these are things that we wouldn't even have considered. Hannah was conscious within the time allocated and made sure all the shots we wanted were captured. We received our photos within the promised time, if not much earlier than we had expected. We were truly amazed at all the pictures and couldn't wait to see what she could do for our wedding day!
  
  Fast forward to wedding day - her assistant was also very helpful as well, making sure to capture all the shots from all angles and areas. Hannah was able to capture the getting ready shots with the dress, veil, and accessories, and even our family first looks, given the limited time that we had. She was very patient and calm throughout the entire day and that definitely helped lots. She and her assistant were efficient and fast movers but did not make us feel rushed. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, entertainment, and reception were all captured beautifully. We appreciated how we were provided a sneak preview slideshow in the middle of our reception with some of the pictures that we took during the day! After seeing these, we were even more anxious and excited to see all of our pictures. We knew they would turn out great! We absolutely loved our photo dash to every table and Hannah did wonderful capturing all the speedy movements - we highly recommend couples to do this as a fun activity to be able to capture all the guests. Our wedding day was perfect and we owe it all to our planner and Hannah's photography team.
  
  Hannah gave us the best 1-month anniversary present - all of our photos were ready earlier than we expected! It was the absolute BEST and till this day we have continuously been looking back at all of our photos and reliving every moment of that day! Thanks again, Hannah! If you are looking for a photographer, we highly recommend you to invest in her, you won't be disappointed!

  12/10 recommend hannah

  Hannah was recommended by my coordinator (Wolf Weddings). I told her I was going for a light and airy look because they make wedding photos look magical. She said the go-to girl is Hannah Charis Photography! To call Hannah’s portraits “magical” is a complete understatement. I still get emotional looking at all the small moments she captured. Daniel was also super helpful and they both worked so well to get all the details of our wedding! Hannah made our shoots starting from the engagement shoot so comfortable and she was so fun and easy to work with. We had so much fun and loved working with her!! SHE WILL MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD, YALL. She knows how to make us do the right poses so we don’t look awkward! not to mention our families were so impressed by how she remembered everyone’s names and was completely organized when we took photos at the wedding. BTW the book she gives you, is the most helpful thing you will need as you plan for what you want at your wedding!!! She explains everything step by step so you won’t get confused. I recommend her services 1000% because SHE LOVES WHAT SHE DOES!! Remember, your wedding portraits are EVERYTHING and looking at them makes me feel like my wedding was a real fairy tale.   Absolutely amazing

  Hannah and her team did a wonderful job from start to finish! She has a wonderful personality and amazing talent. Our photos were back quickly, with TONS of variety. She styles in clean, crisp, fresh, airy, and romantic photos and I couldn’t have been happier! We will 100% be booking her for future photography.

  Best engagement photo session experience!

  Hannah Charis was the first professional photographer that my fiancé and I have ever worked with, so we did not know what to expect. I was impressed with Hannah’s promptness in communication prior to the photo session via text or email. I spoke with her on the phone and it was like talking to an old friend! She was able to give me suggestions and tips regarding outfits for our engagement session so that we would have the perfect style of photos. Since I did not have any particular location in mind for our engagement session, Hannah was super helpful in giving us a vast list of locations for our photoshoot. I am so glad she was already familiar with gorgeous locations in San Antonio and surrounding areas for photoshoots, which made the process less stressful! On the day of our photoshoot when we met up with Hannah, she was incredible at directing my fiancé and I for the variety of poses in her repertoire. She made us instantly feel so comfortable in front of the camera, I couldn’t help but smile the whole time since she was so fun to work with! I absolutely loved her warm, inviting and fun personality! About 2 weeks after our photoshoot, we received our GORGEOUS high-quality photos!! I am in love with all of the photos! She ensured that all of our photos were accessible and easy to download. I would 1,000% recommend her to anyone in need of professional photos done, as you will not regret it and you will LOVE the final result!

  The best photographer!!

  I don't even know where to start, Hannah is INCREDIBLE! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. She's so kind, professional, and dedicated to her job. My husband and I are not typically good in front of the camera but the photos turned out amazing! Hannah is excellent at giving directions on posing which was so helpful. She truly went above and beyond, she showed up early, stayed late, and had a huge smile throughout the whole (very long and very cold) day. During dinner, Hannah already had some photos edited and ready to show us! It was so nice having some sneak peeks on the same day! We cannot recommend Hannah enough, she is an absolute pleasure to work with!

  Best wedding photographer in San Antonio!

  Hannah is truly the best! Last year when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, she was so flexible with rescheduling and happy to take photos on our original wedding day for our backyard wedding with close family. In addition, she also took photos for our rescheduled wedding this year, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m not photogenic, but Hannah still made me feel beautiful in all the photos she took on our wedding day. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos from our wedding! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, hire Hannah, you won’t regret it!

  Hannah Charis was one of the 1st photographer I started talking to when I started planning my wedding but, we wanted to stay in budget so we decided elsewhere. After that went sour I Immediately contacted her and she remember everything about me. We set up a meeting and just sitting there with her was like talking to one of my homegirls. She definitely gave us a wonder experience by giving all the details of weddings, session and pricing. Also, some background on her and how she started. What’s her favorite and how she communicates with her clients. Beside our wonder meeting we left with a book of her own. This book Is AMAZING. It gives much needed detail on times, colors, and etc. I read the book twice. She is so professional, organization and patience. Her communicate was the best even through e-mail she got back to you as soon as possible. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to take the photos and was all over the place but, Hannah provide us with a list of different places. That was really helpful because we sent her plenty of different picture from Pinterest we loved and wanted to mock. Even when we had the Ice storm she even sent me a text because she hadn’t responded to my e-mail. Just hours before the session I text her asking about our outfit and got a reply immediately. The day of our engagement session I was running late because my hairstyle didn’t show in time and I had to do me on hair. Hannah was very patience with us and ensure me not to stress I looked beautiful and it was time to have fun. And we had the best time of our life and we were comfortable being ourselves it felt as if we were talking the pictures at home. She didn’t not rush the session even though we were late and got every posses we asked for and more. When I say me and my fiancé loved Hannah I mean we loved her she’s so FREAKY AMAZING and Wonderful!!! I can’t wait until my bridal and wedding session I’m super excited. I would definitely recommend her to all my family, friend and strangers but, she had us as a client for life. The next day after our engagement session she sent us seek peeks and they are Fantastic I can’t wait to get the rest of them.   Wonderful, Enjoyable, Fun

  Hannah Droll is an amazing photographer and an amazing person!!! She made our experience so easy and fun! She ensured we were in the right poses and talked us through exactly what to do without feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable. The whole experience was wonderful and memorable.   Hannah is an absolute joy to work with! She is a true professional but her personality makes you feel like you're spending time with a friend. We were nervous before taking our engagement pictures because we weren't sure what to expect, but Hannah walked us through each step! She literally took all of the thinking out for us and told us exactly what to do! She stays in constant communication with you and always asks for your input and what YOU want out of your pictures.   Phenomenal photography!

  I cannot say enough good things about Hannah Charis Photography. Sadly, our wedding did not happen due to COVID-related issues, but the owner was amazing to work with! From our initial meeting to our most recent communication, she has been nothing but kind, understanding, and professional. The stress of planning a large wedding, especially one that was to happen during an ongoing pandemic, was eased with each conversation I had with Hannah. I explored and visited with several other photographers, but none were as patient and willing to meet my needs (I was wanting wedding photos that were more light and not quite so dark).   Choose Hannah You Won’t Regret It!

  I found Hannah on wedding wire and immediately fell in love with the look of her photos. She was quick to respond when I reached out and has continued to do that each and every time we’ve talked since! We did our engagement shoot with her and she made us so comfortable in front of the camera and produced the best pictures my fiancé and I have ever taken together. I can’t wait to see her work when we get married in a few short months. She’s the best decision I’ve made in my wedding planning and I’m so beyond grateful to have such a kind, attentive photographer there to capture the most important day to date in our lives. She will also be doing our wedding. Hannah instantly makes you feel at ease and comfortable. She is amazing at posing you and teaching you how to pose so that the shot comes out just right. Her attention to detail is evident throughout the entire shoot and appears beautifully in the pictures she gives you.   How could you not love her???

  We could not have chosen a better photographer for our engagement and wedding pictures, and we haven’t even had our wedding yet! I was nervous for our engagement photos because I had never had any professional pictures done like this, but Hannah was so kind and fun that it made the engagement session so easy. She literally tells you exactly where to stand, look, and put your hands and feet. It’s honestly hard to not feel like a model with Hannah cheering you. Not to mention that we got more pictures than we had expected and every single picture was amazing! I honestly cried when I saw them. Hannah is the absolute best and anyone would be crazy not to hire her.

  Amazing photos that surpassed ALL expectations!

  When I was researching photographers, I had very low expectations. I wasn’t impressed with any photographer’s work that had previously taken my photos. I thought my previous photoshoots were “Okay” but nothing ever stood out. I wanted “Instagram Perfect” photos, but I didn’t know how to get them. One evening, I was scrolling through Facebook and I read a very detailed review for Hannah Charis Photography. Amongst other things, the review stated that Hannah provides clear/fool-proof direction and outfit suggestions!! SOLD!! Upon booking an appointment, I received a thorough and lengthy PDF on outfit suggestions, makeup, hair. She even provided suggested locations WITH sample photos of those locations!! She took all of the guess work out and I have never had that before. A couple of days before our session, she reassured me that everything was going to be perfect and to not stress about it. Deep down I was still extremely stressed because I had been let down in the past and I wanted “wall gallery” quality photos.
  
  When I arrived to the location, Hannah was already there and prepared. Even though this was our first time meeting, I felt like we clicked right away and she understood my vision. I didn’t have to wait for her at all. We started right away to make sure we got as many photos as we could. She was so creative and thoughtful with EVERY pose. Her communication was clear, precise, and to the point. My significant other felt confident in her leading him through this process and I promise you he was not initially looking forward to taking photos. The photoshoot couldn’t have gone better and it surpassed ALL of my expectations.
  
  I took pictures on Friday evening. My photos were done, edited, and sent over by Monday morning at 8:00AM. She also photographed a wedding during that weekend, so I was shocked when I received my pictures so quickly! When I looked at my photos for the first time, I cried. I’m an Army Veteran; I don’t cry for anything! I received WAY more photos than what I paid for. I could not have been more thrilled with the whole process. EVERYTHING was easy; not many people can say that about a photoshoot. No one else will take my photos. We pay photographers to capture our most precious memories/moments. Don’t make the mistake of hiring anyone else but Hannah! You will not be disappointed!

  BEST photographer ever! Hire her IMMEDIATELY!

  Hannah absolutely blew me away when she agreed to do the photography for my engagement photos and wedding! My husband and I seriously are so awkward in front of a camera and she made us look like professional models. EVERYONE was in love with our pictures! For our engagement photos, she provided help as far as what to wear, what looks good, and how to coordinate our outfits. I hate shopping and I have no idea what to wear for photos so this was a HUGE help! She also directed us on exactly how to stand, position ourselves and look completely natural so that ALL of our photos turned out amazing! Our pictures seriously looked so great and super natural!
  
  My whole bridal party was obsessed with her photos and so many people at our wedding asked how I found our photographer because they were so impressed with her work! I HIGHLY recommend hiring Hannah, she is incredibly talented at what she does, she is SUPER fast and is so sweet and kind(she even sent us a gift for our wedding)!

  Hands down best photographer!

  Hannah is AMAZING! She is the only photographer I’ve ever used that could capture exactly what I wanted. She helps with posing (and makes it look natural!!), with wardrobe, location, etc. and makes it so easy and look so beautiful! Her editing and lighting are by far the best I’ve seen and the best quality pictures I have. I highly recommend her!!

  Amazing in every aspect!

  I can’t say enough good things about Hannah! She was so helpful with regards to outfit selection, flexible when we had to reschedule due to weather, and during the session she was so helpful in providing guidance on positions, hand placement, etc. She turned our photos around in record time and exceeded our expectations on every level! I would hands down recommend Hannah to anyone!

I honestly was a little worried initially because of her inexperience, but shortly was convinced she is the best in the business!! I could write a book with compliments, but I think it's easier to list. Here are a few things that made Hannah the best in my eyes:
  -Professional: she fulfilled all of her duties, and more.
  -Timely: always replied to my messages within MINUTES.
