    Historic Rose Mont

We received so many compliments from our guests about this venue. The events manager was amazing to work with. We couldn’t have picked a better place.

If you are looking for a beautiful, historic home as your venue and are willing to sacrifice the zipcoe, Rose Mont Mansion in Gallatin, TN may be the right venue for you.

We lost our original venue due to an oversight on the venue's part and just bad customer service. Rose Mont was perfect for us because not only did we get to have an outdoor ceremony, we got a built-in rain plan with no need to rend an expensive tent. There is ample parking and you cannot beat the price.

It's beautiful, affordable and just a mile from the charming town square of Gallatin, TN. This mansion has a charming history. Owned by the City of Gallatin, Rose Mont Mansion is maintained by a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving this gem of the past. Although 45 minutes outside of Nashville, this is by far the best venue we looked at in price and functionality.

Rose Mont has a wonderful *new* reception hall in the back of the property. There is a lovely rose garden between the two buildings. The inside is elegant, simple and spacious. A small kitchen in the back and out of the way, a front and back patio that we used for our buffet line, candy buffet and dancing. There are white tables and chairs on site to rent for a very small fee. Most importantly, we paid to rent the venue for our rehearsal and decorating the day before the wedding for a super small fee.

We were very happy with Rose Mont and encourage anyone looking at Belmont Mansion, Belle Meade and Cedarvine to check out Rose Mont too.

Working with Kendall at Rose Mont was awesome! She was very responsive and accommodating.
The venue is a great value and turned out perfectly for our ceremony and reception. There are a few different options for an outdoor backdrop to the ceremony, which is nice. It was very convenient to be able to have the ceremony and reception at the same site.
I highly recommend Rose Mont for your wedding ceremony and/or reception.

Rose Mont Manor is a beautiful antebellum home located in Gallatin TN. It is more affordable than Belle Meade, Spring Haven, or any of the other historic wedding venues in the Nashville area. The caretaker is a bit of a grump but if you follow the rules, you can have a gorgeous wedding on a budget. The reception hall is small. We had approximately 100 and had to seat some guests outdoors. If you are looking to accomodate a large group- Rose Mont is a good out door choice but very limited if you need to be inside. Perfect for a small group.

I was so happy to find RoseMont Mansion. It is a very well kept secret in the Nashville area. It's a very pretty mansion at a great price that can host both a ceremony and reception. Overall, we were very pleased with how beautiful everything turned out, even in the rain. The woman in charge of the venue (Erleen) was mostly very nice to deal with leading up to the event and responsive to my questions. However, the moment we stepped on the property to decorate for the event, she was terrible. She was rude and short to my friends, family, and venders. Since the wedding, I have heard so many complaints about her rudeness and how difficult she made things for everyone involved. The mansion is on a budget and needs to protect its property to keep from unnecessary money spent on unnecessary repairs; that is very understandable and we respected that. But Erleen treated everyone as if they were guilty of something before they could even do anything wrong. Small example: someone asked her if there was a chair they could use upstairs for the makeup artist and she snapped, "over there - you can get it yourself!" No one was asking her to do anything more than her job description describes, but she is very quick to be defensive (overly and eagerly) and it is just unnecessary and rude. She also expected us to leave large equipment that we didn't need in the middle of our reception, instead of placing them safely in the storage barn or under another protected space with the explaination of, "no one will notice them." People would have literally had to jump over them to get by. It would have been a safety hazard!

The price and beauty of the venue is great, but it's really hard to decide if I would recommend this venue to anyone else. A wedding is stressful enough for everyone involved, a venue should be trained to deal with its customers in the proper way when it comes to such events or it will lose out to other more expensive locations all the time. I feel bad that my friends, family, and venders were not treated well when they were only there to help make our event special.
