  Lauren is amazing

  Lauren at Sugar and Soul Weddings made my day run so smoothly. She made sure all of my decor looked exactly how I wanted and made me feel at ease that if anything went wrong thoughout the day, she would be there to handle it. I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a day-of coordinator :)

  Amazing Experience

  From start to finish, Lauren was the best! She made the day go smoothly, setup all decor as asked, she was attentive and caring. Couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator.

  Freaking amazing!

  Words can not express how thankful i am to Lauren and Lauren! You guys made our day and even saved my arch. The set up was flawless and I couldn't have asked for more. You stuck by me and answered all my questions and concerns through this whole process and I cannot thank you enough!

  Most engaged wedding planner

  Couldn't have better things to say about working with Lauren Caparro. Throughout the planning process, Lauren was attentive, organized and resourceful. She made sure to cross every T and dot every I. She made sure her client was getting the best equipment at the best price around. I look forward to working with Lauren again in the near future.

  Lauren Caparros

  “You don’t need a wedding assistant”, they said.
  “You’re really organized and it’s only a small backyard wedding,” they said. Thankfully, I didn’t listen!
  Lauren took care of everything-literally! She worked tirelessly to find table and chair rentals, the Mister Softee truck (huge hit, BTW) and a DJ at the best prices, coordinated deliveries, picked up desserts at the bakery, steamed our daughter’s dress, took some awesome pix, provided invaluable expertise on where how to manage the flow of the wedding, how to best utilize our backyard a space, and stayed til well after midnight to help clean up. She communicated almost daily-and even sent weather updates when rain was predicted. (No rain that day!) Her most notable strength was her ability to encourage, support, and keep stress at a minimum. Our daughter’s wedding was planned in less than 2 months and thanks to Lauren, it was a relaxed and elegant event. She is an amazing person and is the consummate professional who will not disappoint. We are so thankful we reached out to her!!

  Wedding planner

  I honestly can not say enough about this company and the owner Lauren. She went above and beyond to make sure our special day ran as smooth as a well oiled machine. She was there for me ever step of the way and every melt down. She help with everything from getting dressed, keeping my wine glass full, calling my vendor when my cupcakes didnt show up on time and making sure my hubby and I had a great night. If anything went wrong I knew nothing about it because she took care of everything. I seriously cant tell you how many time I called her crying because of all the stress of planning a wedding and she was there to calm me down and remind me that everything was going to be perfect and guess what it was!!!! Not only did I get a great wedding planner I received a friend for life. I dont even know if our wedding would have happened without her. I mean it would have... but not as great. We still have friends and family tell us how much fun they had at our wedding and how wonderful everything was. I am so happy to have her in my life for such a stressful time. I would highly recommend this company and Lauren to anyone I know trying to plan a wedding. Trust me you want her on your side. She is extremely knowledgeable and organized (I'm kinda jealous) when it come to this business she is so passionate about. So now stop reading this review already and get in contact with her. Trust me you wont regret it! :)

  Great Experience

  Lauren was great. She was there for all of my questions and I was able to bounce ideas off her for absolutely everything. She was able to get me an appointment at Kleinfields on short notice, my mom's dream. She was there every step of the way. She helped my mom plan my bridal shower and recommended a great bakery. At the reception she made sure my dress always looked good for pictures, my wine glass was always full, and that everything went smoothly. I would have absolutely no issues recommending InLove Styling to any and every bride!

  Scammer alert! 0 service given, stole money

  
  DON'T GET FOOLED BY HER LOW FEES, SHE WILL SCAM YOU AND GHOST YOU.
  
  She's what a bride's nightmares are made of. Lauren was the first vendor I contracted for my wedding, months prior to the day of. She was very communicative and convincing, perhaps too good to be true.
  I paid her half the amount as a deposit to hold my date and for her to start coordinating and meeting three weeks prior as mentioned in the contact and our initial video meeting. She refused to meet in person before a deposit was paid, so I obliged.
  A month before the day of, she sent me a very generic form that was pretty useless for my Indian wedding. Mind you, I had already alerted her prior retaining her that it was an Indian wedding.
  I texted her and called her numerous times to schedule a meeting 3 weeks from the wedding. I also requested times to schedules a walkthrough at the venue as promised, she suggested a date and vanished. When I got back with a time from the venue, she never confirmed and two weeks away from my wedding, I was left with no timeline, no progress with the coordinator and she was basically ghosting me. She didn't have the courtesy of letting me know that she won't be able to make it to the second walkthrough that I scheduled, let alone show any interest in scheduling anything herself.
  So around 11th day from my day of, I asked her if she was able to coordinate my wedding at all because till then she had done nothing as she had promised. I'd have understood if she couldn't make it and would have liked to backout of her contract because at that point, her services should have started way long ago and she was plain ghosting me for weeks. But she never replied to that message either. And it was then I realized that I was scammed.
  I sent her a message threatening legal action and then after 3 weeks, she finds the time to text me that she's not scamming me and she can coordinate day of. Mind you, she didn't know anything about my wedding day, missed and didn't show interest in a venue walkthrough and asked me to pay her 75% of her fees because "I broke the contract" because I requested the deposit back.
  In reality,, I requested the deposit back so she could back out, because she didn't perform her services and in case she couldnt commit to the day of.
  
  I played along and I asked her to furnish a vendor insurance as is required of any vendor by a wedding venue and she flat out refused saying
  " we did not have a formal contract".
  
  After this, I went ahead and contracted a new coordinator from Swig at a higher price, 7 days aways from my day of. Never regretted and I should have done that in the first place.
  Long story short, I am now pursuing a legal route for deposit, damages and difference in fees.
  She refused to give out her business info as well so a police complaint followed by a legal notice.
  It's an additional hassle but atleast no one else has to face what I faced because I won't wish it on my worst enemy.
