  Amazing vendor and people!

  Oh my gosh, I can not write enough about this team.
  First I’d like to share that I am from Canada and the communication leading up to the wedding was great. Sometimes it can be overwhelming messaging people from a different country on something so special for your wedding day. Ioana was prompt answering me and when my resort said no outside vendors she was so helpful supporting me finding an air b n b for hair and make up.
  All of us had AMAZING make up, I was complimented all night with the make up, she made my whole day so special. The make up lasted till the end of the night and same with the hair. The team was professional and quick and affordable.
  I wish I lived in Cancun area because I found Ioana so personable that if we lived in the same country I know we’d be life long friends. She is amazing at what she does and she truly cares that everyone feels their best on their wedding day.
  I will add, some of the bridesmaids wanted a switch of hair and she was so helpful encouraging us to share because she wanted us all to feel comfortable.

  Awesome Beauty Team

  I originally was going to use the salon services at Dreams Playa Mujeres for my wedding day but communication was lacking. So thankful to have found iO Makeup & Hair on Wedding Wire. Having a destination wedding can be difficult but they put my mind at ease. Very responsive and quick. Their prices are great. Most of all…they did an amazing job on our hair and makeup for myself and and my bridal party. If you want professionalism and to look like beauty queens….don’t look any further and choose this team!

  This team went above & beyond to make me & my bridesmaids feel so special on my big day! They made sure we were satisfied with their work until leaving & even prepared me a small kit for the rest of my wedding day just in case. I didn’t worry for once second from the time I reached out to the wedding day because they were very responsive the entire time. Thank you ladies for helping out every way possible. If you’re looking for a makeup team that knows what they’re doing, THIS IS THE ONE !!!!!

  The perfect team

  Planning a destination wedding meant that I had to put my complete trust in the people helping me locally in Cancun. IO Makeup team were incredibly responsive and helpful during the lead up to the wedding and quickly earned my trust. The team that came to do me and my bridal parties hair on my wedding day were perfect. They were so friendly and fun and came up with some creative styles for the bridesmaids and flower girls hair. For me, I loved the look that they gave me and was so happy they were able to come up with a hair style I loved! Thank you so much to the iO Makeup and Hair team!!

  Io makeup is amazing!

  If you're looking for hair/makeup for a destination wedding in Cancun look no further. This team was so incredible. They did my hair/makeup trial and day of for the wedding and my bridal party. All our hair/makeup stayed on all day long and there was no sweating it off even in the Mexico Heat! All my guests were so amazed by the looks. They are the sweetest!

  Wonderful, professional, communication was spot on. Lovely work. Fantastic team.

  The whole team at iO was incredible. Very flexible. At the last minute we had a couple of request and everyone was accommodating. I felt comfortable being able to provide feedback during the hair and makeup practice. The end result was fantastic. Also, after the run through they were willing to change up my hair and makeup for a different look. How great for my girls night out!

  Ioana’s whole team was amazing from day 1. I had to switch my wedding day and she responded immediately and accommodated me. She suggested a trial for the day before and did exactly what I asked for. Her hair stylists were incredible as well. Easily in the top 2 of hair/makeup experiences. They are super friendly and sweet as well. I would recommend her team 100x over! Price was super reasonable and included the trial as well.

  Great Makeup Artist!

  Ionna and her team did a wonderful job on me and my 10 bridesmaids HMUA. They were very professional and did a great job recreating the hair/makeup styles that we wanted. I did a trial beforehand, and I made small tweaks to the hair/makeup and they happily adjust until I was satisfied. Then, I last minute decided to change the hair on my wedding day and they adjusted quickly! Overall I had a great a experience and would recommend them to anyone needing wedding hair/makeup.

  Efficient and wonderful!

  This team is awesome. They did a great job making sure everything was to my perfection on my trial day. The day of my wedding they made all of my bridesmaids, flower girls, and mother of bride and groom feel and look amazing. My makeup and hair was beyond beautiful. A few days before my wedding, I got my eyelashes done in the states, and more than half of them fell out by the day of my wedding. I was so nervous about this, but Claudia fixed everything and made me look like a million bucks! She was friendly, kind and very talented. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

  Amazing hair and makeup

  Cannot recommend Emmanuel and his team enough! Due to Covid, my fiancée (lgbt wedding) and I held off on booking hair and makeup until two weeks before the wedding. Luckily, iO makeup was available. They traveled to our wedding destination in Holbox and brought a team with them. The communication, coordination, everything was perfect. We didn’t have time for makeup or hair trials but sent Pinterest boards ahead of time with our desired look. Both my fiancée and I felt the most beautiful of our lives. 10/10 would recommend.

  Great communication

  My fiancé and I had a terrible time needing to reschedule our destination wedding in light of Covid-19. IO Makeup team had great communication with us from the outset and refunded our money in full. I was very impressed with their responsiveness and understanding. I would definitely feel confident booking with them again!

  Amazing service!

  Ioana and her team did a amazing job both with the trial and on my wedding day! The trial was so informative and help we me reallly get a perfect idea of what I was looking for. On the wedding day, Ioana and her team were so fun to work with! They created beautiful works for myself and all of my ladies and were so fun to work with day of! I would recommend them to anyone!

  I had visited Cancun for a wedding and wanted to get my hair done, upon contacting my hotel spa the work they had done didn’t seem like quality and wanted to charge $90 for an updo. A week before departure I started researching and found iO Makeup & Hair. I cannot rave enough about the flexibility and the service that was provided. I was picked up and dropped off at the hotel by Ioana as we decided that would be the best option as I am not familiar with the Cancun area. My hair and makeup was beautiful and lasted through the humidity and sweaty dancing throughout the night! Ioana is a professional and I would highly recommend her to any bride or guests. She is the only one who had responded in a timely manner and had fair pricing. Don’t second guess yourself and book her! And again thank you for making me feel beautiful!

  Destination wedding redo

  My husband and I were supposed to have a destination wedding in March of 2020 but unfortunately due to the pandemic we had to cancel. This year we decided to make the trip to Cancun Mexico and have a wedding photo shoot to help capture some moments we never got to have. I was scrambling to find a vendor for hair and makeup less than one month from our trip and fell on io. I felt very blessed that they were available to come to Cancun and travel 2 hours away to help make me beautiful! They were very professional and I felt very comfortable trusting in their skills to make me the most beautiful bride! They were very responsive to any concerns or questions prior to my special day! I highly recommend them and am very happy with their services!
