  Incredible live music

  My husband and I hired Jack for our wedding on 9/26/20 we initially hired Jack to provide music during our cocktail hour only but, due to COVID we had to change our wedding plan a few times and ended up asking if Jack could play for the entire wedding because we had made it more of an intimate style with 26 guest and he KILLED IT...we weren't sure what to expect because of the last minute changes we had asked of Jack but he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and fun. ALL of our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on how awesome they were and we ended up asking him to play another set. We had Jack, Jerry and Brian and I couldn't have asked for a better crew! I highly recommend Jack and feel he was exceptional for his price, I felt that every member of the band was genuinely having a great time with us and was so happy with their performance.

  Top Notch Musician

  I am a wedding musician and contractor that hires and plays in ensembles in the tri-State area. Jack is at the top of my list; he's very professional, talented, and adaptable. I'd highly recommend him for your wedding!

  Jack is the definition of professional! I've worked with him countless times over the past several years and he always delivers the absolute best service. I can't recommend him enough!

  A Consummate Professional and Amazing Musician

  My wife and I had our Wedding Ceremony visions come to life as Jack brought the magic with his Upright Bass and Cello. We are constantly fielding questions like "where did we find this guy?" Jack also surrounds himself with only the best artists. Including but not limited to Gerry Rosenthal, Sylvana Joyce and Sean-David Cunningham. All true Pros and masters of their craft.

  The icing on a perfect day

  My wife and I are not ostentatious people. We didn't want to get people pumped up. We barely wanted people to dance. The operative mood for our wedding and reception can be summed up as "basking", and Jack Breslin delivered exactly that with his trio and their selection of songs.
  
  I we had arranged for Jack and guitarist Ty Tuschen to accompany me in a rendition of Danny's Song for the professional, but began the the proceedings by accompanying me in some unplanned freeform ambient music to guide people to their seats, which was an incredibly special treat. They continued to perform Danny's Song after I put my guitar down to meet my bride at the Altair, so you could say the band gave me away!
  
  
  The band read the reception perfectly, and treated our guests to a tasteful and playful blend of jazz as funk that allowed those who wanted to dance the opportunity to do so without the need for anyone to raise their voice to talk over their playing.
  
  Skip the DJ, talk to Breslin. Highly recommended

  You Get What You Pay For

  do NOT be fooled by the lower cost of jack's service compared to similar vendors...you get what you pay for - or in our case you get nothing and he steals your money! we initially engaged jack and his band to play our wedding and were excited that we were getting talented musicians for 1/3 of the cost of other bands we looked into...we provided a deposit and then he pretty much ignored us in every correspondence following taking our money. he failed to show up to the venue for a planned site visit and we would go weeks without a returned email or phone call. when we ultimately decided to go in another direction and hire a band that was professional and that we had confidence in, jack refused to return our deposit - even though we never had a legally binding agreement saying it was non refundable. if i could give 0 stars i would. DO NOT HIRE JACK FOR YOUR WEDDING - the lower cost is not worth the stress that you will endure.

  I’m somewhat taken aback by your assessment of the situation. I never went “weeks” without responding to you. As I explained multiple times, my slow response time and need to reschedule the site visit were due to complications with my girlfriend’s pregnancy. I thought you would be able to understand such a situation, but clearly I was wrong. After hiring another band without discussing with me, I withheld your security deposit because you were the party breaching our agreement. I was hoping you would be able to empathize with someone going through such a difficult time, but clearly I was wrong. I had rescheduled the site visit and was in contact with the venue. All this while the wedding was still well over a month away. That being said, I have rarely been required to perform site visits before any such events in the past, but I was happy to do so. I’m sorry you feel scammed, but I feel disrespected.
