  BEST Photographers!!!

  Hands down, the Jo Photo team are the BEST photographers!! I highly recommend Jo Photo as they absolutely go above and beyond. Not only were my photos breathtakingly stunning, they are also flawless due to the attention to detail taken by Joe and Kathleen. Out of over 700 photos, there is not one photo where a necklace clasp is turned around or even one strand of hair is out of place. They truly take their time and make sure you get the photos of your dreams! Out of all of the photographers you have to choose from, go with Jo Photo, you will be so glad that you did!

  Amazing!

  Jo Photo was fabulous to work with. We got married in the Covid craziness and they were continuously flexible, supportive, and reassuring. Both Joe and Kathleen have such a joyful presence about them. Their work is so beautiful and we love both our wedding photos and engagement photos from them!

  Best Smokies Wedding Photographers

  We chose Joe and Kathleen for our wedding this last December because we loved their work as seen on their Instagram page and the photos turned out even better than our best expectations! They were incredibly professional and made what could be a stressful experience into one of the best parts of our wedding! We'll cherish their images forever and we 100% recommend them to everyone looking to get married in the Smokies or the surrounding area!

  Absolutely wonderful!

  Jo and Kathleen are absolutely wonderful! Not only did their professionalism shine through in their demeanor and their work, but they are such a delight to be around. They made the day go so smoothly with ease and were very easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about them and am so very pleased with our pictures. They really captured the natural joy and happiness of the day on our faces and made everyone feel so special. If you get the chance to work with them, you won't be disappointed. They do amazing work! Thank you Jo and Kathleen for making our day even more special! We will be enjoying our beautiful pictures for many years to come!

  They were so fun and easy to work with!

  Teresa and I decided to elope in the Smokey's two weeks ago. And while planning for that we knew we'd want to have the moment photographed since we weren't inviting anyone (not even family).
  
  We decided on JoPhoto. And, we couldn't have made a better decision. Kathleen walked us through everything we needed to and gave us recommendations from where to stay to makeup artists for Teresa. She even told us that we needed a permit from the park, we never would've known that.
  
  Kathleen and Joe told us that it would be about 2-3 weeks before we'd get our photos and they had them to us in just under two weeks. Now, I know that was a quick turnaround and it may be easier to edit wedding photos when there's not 100+ attendees. But regardless, we were so excited to receive them.
  
  And the pictures are beautiful. And they encapsulated our perfect day. A day that we will never forget. We had so much fun working with Kathleen and Joe and they did a phenomenal job. As a man I don't always care to be in the picture or about having my picture taken in general, but the two of them made it fun and energetic. 10/10 would recommend using JoPhoto for all of your photo needs in the greater Knoxville and Smokey Mountain area.

  I can't say enough great things about JoPhoto. Kathleen and Joe made our elopement in the Smokies the perfect day! They were easy to work with, very responsive and helped with every step of the process. They even reached out to us and our officiant to coordinate changing ceremony times to ensure we would not have to worry about rain on our day. I was a stress-free bride thanks to Kathleen and Joe!   Absolutely amazing!!

  These photographers went above and beyond my expectations for our elopement. And the pictures that they captured made me cry all over again when I saw them. 10000000/10 they really outdid themselves. Could not recommend them any more. Absolutely amazing!!!

  Best Photographer Team EVER

  I cannot say enough positives about Kathleen and Jo! When we set our wedding date, JoPhoto were the first ones I reached out to! I knew I wanted them to be our photographer for our wedding at Spence Cabin. Our photos are PERFECT. They were so easy to work with. We could not have asked for a better team and I cannot recommend them enough!

  Great Photographers

  My wife and I used JoPhoto for our wedding in the Smoky Mountains in September. They were very efficient and great people to work with. You can tell that they really care about the people they are working with. Our families were all very impressed with them and with how amazing the photos turned out. Everyone is still commenting about how great everything was!

  The Perfect Team

  I found out about JoPhotos on Pinterest when I came across their Smoky Mountains weddings post while scrolling through looking at elopements. I showed my fiancé their photos and decided to inquire with them just to see. Kathleen and Joe were amazing right from the get-go. Kathleen immediately started offering information on all the wonderful locations to get married in Eastern Tennessee and helped me figure out exactly what we wanted. We set our date and booked them! As soon as we made it to the location for our wedding weekend we knew we had made the right choice. From the start of the day to the sunset over the parkway, everything was perfect! Kathleen and Joe were even more amazing in person! They got right to work when they showed up at the cabin and were very efficient when getting through all the specific family photos we wanted. When it came to our couple photos, they told us exactly what to do and made it enjoyable at the same time. We just knew that the photos were going to be everything we imagined. After two weeks, we got the photos and I haven’t stopped looking at them since. This little wedding was the best decision and I have JoPhotos to thank for helping make it happen!

  Joe and Kathleen have got to be some of the kindest humans we've ever met. They were so incredibly helpful from start to finish, from helping us craft a timeline to vendor recommendations and helping us create the most beautiful moments. They made us feel SO comfortable in front of the camera, which is hard to do for us! We would love to work with them again for family photos sometime in the future. Thank you Joe and Kathleen for the most beautiful day!

  Phenomenal!

  We found Kathleen and Joe through pictures posted online and were pleasantly surprised that we ended up at their website rather than an image gallery.
  
  The look of their pictures was exactly what we were looking for and from initial contact we were so impressed by them. Kathleen was so patient and helpful to us in planning our wedding in the National Park from afar. She talked through various options, locations, and worked up a timeline for us.
  
  As we were not local to the area Kathleen offered to provide some recommendations for officiant, florist, and hair/makeup and those made organizing the rest so much easier.
  
  We weren’t sure if we would be able to keep our planned date in the Spring and they were so understanding. They offered to hold the first date and the replacement date until we were able to get everything set for Fall.
  
  In the lead up to our wedding they checked in with us and made us feel reassured. If we thought they were helpful before our wedding day we hadn’t seen anything yet. They helped with last minute dress issues, pinned on my boutonniere, provided climbing advice for some of the locations, cleared a path, and just went out of their way to make everything as wonderful as possible.
  
  The pictures they took were awesome and we cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are looking for photographers, do not go any further, Kathleen and Joe are the folks to use, you will not be disappointed.

  Choosing Kathleen and Joe to photograph our wedding was the best decision my husband and I made when planning our big day! They are an incredible team and so talented. From the very beginning they were incredibly communicative and kind--keeping us on track with a day of timeline, offering suggestions for vendors, and capturing every beautiful moment of our wedding. I cannot recommend JoPhoto enough. Hire them for your wedding! This is not a decision you will ever regret.

  JoPhoto Is Everything You Want in a Wedding Photographer.

  As the groom, I didn't see all the reasons for hiring a great photographer that my wife did. After the engagement photo session we did with JoPhoto, we were thrilled. Even moreso once we had the photos. The communication and clarity they offered us for our wedding day was also incredible. We loved JoPhoto. Loved them. They are incredible.

  Professional and Fun!

  Joe and Kathleen were so much fun to have at the wedding. She taught me how to open a champagne bottle and how to cut the cake without messing it all up haha. They were so great with all of our family, and they scouted out the best shots at our venue (even with the rain!). We decided on a first look very last minute, and they were able to shift around the schedule to make it all happen for us! They are so great at putting you at ease, and the resulting photos were amazing!!

  Amazing Experience!

  We booked JoPhoto for our Foothills Parkway elopement and couldn't be happier. They helped us with recommendations from everything from officiant's to where to have dinner. They are very responsive and helped answer any questions that popped up before the ceremony. The day of they helped coordinate everything and make sure everything was perfect for our photos and it was so nice to know they had it all under control and we could just enjoy the moment. They are an absolute joy to work with and we are so happy to have them there to capture our special day. If you are thinking about booking with them, we cannot recommend them enough!

  Engagement Photos

  Joe and Kathleen were nothing short of amazing! This was the first time my fiancé and I had professional photos taken and they made us feel so comfortable! They were very detailed orientated and accommodating to our requested date change due to Covid. We got our photos back very quickly and I am so impressed with their quality of work. Highly recommend!

  We are so happy we chose JoPhoto

  We are so happy that we chose JoPhoto to capture our wedding. They were extremely personable and professional. You would have never known that our wedding day was the first time we had met. They do a wonderful job of making everyone feel comfortable for photos and finding your best angles. They also offer flexibility in their services. We only needed 4 hours of photography and they worked with us to make that happen. They were also knowledgeable and familiar with our venue (Spence Cabin in GSMNP) and able to navigate to the best photo spots. I highly recommend them and out photos turned out great!

  The dream team

  JoPhoto did an AMAZING job with our engagement and wedding photos! They were down to go anywhere for our engagement photos and were all about creating unique shots that go beyond the typical newly wed photos. Working with a couple made the experience fun and more relaxing for us, especially my husband. Joe was awesome with him and his groomsmen. Kathleen was an answered prayer during our wedding day as she kept everything and most importantly everyone moving. Family photos took half a second, wedding party photos were quick and fun, they were even awesome with our dogs! Their relaxed attitude and confidence was exactly what I needed during our wedding day. I never had to worry about where everyone was for a photo or whether everyone was included or not because Kathleen and Joe were on top of it. They are simply the best. Our only regret is that we don't get to work with them more often.

  I cannot say enough great things about Kathleen and Joe! My fiance and I never had professional photos taken before and Kathleen and Joe made us feel SO comfortable and laugh the entire time we were shooting with them! They are very detailed orientated, responsive and professional! We even received our photos a week before expected! I cannot stop looking at our photos now, obsessed is an understatement. Run don't walk to book with them! :)
