  Jacob really goes above and beyond to make your day special! He’s so easy to communicate with and listens to what you want. He is so friendly and creates such a fun environment. I couldn’t recommend him more! I am so thankful we chose him to be the DJ for our wedding. Everything was perfect!

  10/10 Run to Jacob!!!!!

  Jacob is absolutely amazing and totally professional! Would recommend to everyone! He got the party started and made sure it stayed the entire night! Loved the music, the entire vibe, the lights, and the professional attire he wore! I wish we could relive that night over and over again. Can’t thank him enough for the music and Photo Booth experience!

  PERFECT DJ for a BLAST at your reception

  Jacob Kalu (DJ) is so easy to work with and very detail oriented which helped me feel very secure about how the ceremony and reception would go. I filled out his questioneer and was unsure at the time about some songs I wanted to use. I emailed them to him later on sporadically and he was so easy to work with! We met in person, and then again as a follow up to ensure he had all the songs, reception events, and timing correct so that I felt comfortable with the flow and did not have to worry about a thing. The day of the wedding, he did such a great job hyping up the guests at the reception and just being a very fun and upbeat presence. With great equipment, sound system, and photobooth options, Kalu records is the PERFECT choice for a laid-back wedding or even formal wedding. Highly, highly recommend.

  Wedding reception DJ

  Working with Kalu records was so much fun. He was professional and made our wedding reception so fun. He has the perfect voice for announcements and being on the mic. Prices were affordable compared to other vendors we looked at. I would choose kalu records over and over again!

  Jacob does such a fantastic job and ensures that every single detail is taken care of. He is very responsive and is flexible when things change last minute. He kept the vibes at my wedding very fun and upbeat and had people out on the dance floor the entire night! He is an absolute joy to work with and I will always recommend him!!!

  Best Reception Ever

  My husband and I knew Jacob would be great from the start. We hired him early in our process, but he still checked up on us periodically. I like how he sends out a survey to get info on when and where the ceremony/reception is and our music tastes. He is very flexible for multicultural experiences (my husband is Egyptian and provided him with an Arabic playlist). He is great at reading the crowd because we wanted an even split of American and Arabic music, but people only got up and danced to Arabic music. So he did everything in his power to keep the party going. He also is just a very sweet guy, and it is always nice to work with good people.

  Fabulous and Groovy

  I loved working with Jacob! He created a fun, groovy and romantic environment for everyone not only on the dance floor, but also during cocktail hour and dinner. Jacob responded to questions promptly and helped with choosing an ideal package he offered for what was best for your special day.

  I knew Jacob would be a dream to work with because he dj'd both my sister's and a friend's weddings. My expectations were already high, and he superseded them! He got everybody on the dance floor, and adjusted the music to fit the vibe of the crowd. He made everything flow incredibly well, and made sure that our night was exactly what we wanted, and so much more.

  My husband and I would def recommend Kalu Records. & Entertainment. He was extremely responsive, kind, flexible, and positive too (which helped our stresses tremendously). Plus, he is professional in what he does. We had our deposit and our contract done about 6 months in advance for the wedding but he was on time and held phone consultations with us the week of our wedding. We ended up using him for our ceremony music since our wedding was outside and then he was used inside for an appetizer hour/reception. He also brought the photo booth for a few hours for the reception. DEFINITELY RENT THIS OUR GUESTS LOVEEEEED IT. We were able to book him for everything because he helped customize one of his packages to fit our needs. On the day of our wedding, we were like an hour behind schedule and he went with the program and made his services fit our needs that evening. BIG RECOMMEND KALU FOR THAT REASON ALONE. Some of our guests said they will even be using him for their services soon. Our catering and DJ were the two things we had lots of positive feedback on from our guests. Overall, just great. Please book Kalu.

  Amazing DJ!

  We absolutely loved having Jacob as our DJ! He did such a wonderful job and was great to work with. He was prompt throughout the night with announcing event to event. We played the “wedding shoe game” and he did an amazing job coming up with the questions. 10/10 recommend!!

  I cannot praise Jacob enough! He made our day fabulous and was an amazing DJ! I had heard that a DJ can make or break a wedding and trust me, YOU NEED TO HIRE KALU RECORDS!! Their questionnaire was very thorough and helped communicate our wants and expectations for the day. Did I mention a genuine human? Everyone loved Jacob and I highly recommend using them for the quality of work, the great communication skills he brought and the party he created! We can't think Jacob and Kalu Records enough!

  Kalu listened to all my wants and DELIVERED. My crowd loves to dance and that’s exactly what he had everyone doing. All my guests were pleased and said it was the best wedding yet! And Kalu helped!

  Amazing experience!!

  He has been doing events with me and my family since I was 12 and he just did my wedding and I couldn’t have been more pleased with Jacob doing it! He makes sure that if a song request is put in that it will actually be played! Love his set up with lights and all!

  Took our wedding to the next level!

  Mr. Kalu was beyond easy to work with and made our wedding dream come true! The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted and everyone left with a smile! Not only did he incorporate amazing music, but the lights and way he communicated and worked with our guests were outstanding!! We will definitely be using him again for our next event!

  We were both so happy with the playlist everything flowed perfectly! He played country, classical, r&b, hip-hop, oldies and reggae. We had a pretty blended crowd and music was one of my biggest concerns but DJ Kalu did great, everyone had a great time on the dance floor!!
