  Better then I ever Imagined

  I've tried writing this review several times but always stop because I can't seem to truly capture how amazing Kiln Creek was for my wedding. As soon as I saw the venue I knew that for my personal style..it was exactly what I wanted. What I quickly learned is that Nikky (the event planner at Kiln Creek) and the entire Kiln Creek Staff are more then what any Bride could ever want! This was a very long process. I was a "COVID" Bride and had to reschedule a wedding fairly last minute. We were originally getting Married April 2020 and decided that in March it was best to try to postpone. We talked with Nikky and rescheduled our wedding for September 2020. I don't know how she does it, but she made the entire experience so worth while! As upset as we were to change the date, we were equally as excited to be able to work with Nikky and Kiln Creek a little longer! Her attention to detail is just about the best in the business and she (and her staff) handled EVERYTHING! From planning, to decor, to set up, to clean up! I had been to 3 other venues before sitting down and signing a contract with Kiln Creek and my husband and I said aside from deciding to marry each other..choosing Kiln Creek was the best decision we made about the wedding. My aunt from Michigan came in town for the wedding and asked how everything was with the venue. I told her that I truly felt like I got special attention from Nikky like I was a friend of hers, however I never knew her prior to visiting the venue. My entire bridal party would always joke with me "just call Nikky, she fixes everything" whenever I felt like I was hitting a little bump in the road. They were always right too. She did fix everything! Kiln Creek has several different places on site to choose from for your ceremony, reception or event and I highly recommend that you give them a chance! They will not disappoint. I had many of my guest ask me to "have another one" just so we can enjoy Kiln Creek Events and Nikky's planning all over again!

  Ballroom is a beautiful venue

  This venue was great for my daughter’s wedding as it was a very small wedding and we had the wedding and reception all in the same room. The two girls serving us were very professional and I had several people state this about the girls. Also many people complimented that the food was delicious!

She was deliberate in addressing every concern we had and was so thorough in bringing our vision for the big day into the most spectacular wedding of the century!!!
  Our friends, family, and Social Media followers are still raving over the event. She worked flawlessly with the vendors, my wedding party, and guest to ensure a flawless event. And that indeed it was. My now husband and I were able to look and feel our best, kick back and enjoy our day because we completely trusted Ruthanne to handle whatever may come.

  Amazing service and planning!!

  My wife and I were struggling to find a venue that we could afford for our wedding. Then we stumbled on Kiln Creek. This venue was beautiful and very easy to work with. Our coordinator Ruthanne was absolutely amazing and made the process very easy. Amazing service!

  One of Newport New's Best Kept Secrets

  My partner and I noticed and appreciated, that from the first point of contact through the day of our ceremony, the team at Kiln Creek truly went above and beyond to help us make memories that will last a lifetime. They answered all of our questions and made us feel special - even though they had at least 10+ weddings that month. Working with Ruthanne was a delight. She provided guidance to us and helped make the planning process very smooth. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you're looking for a reasonably priced venue, with awesome food and staff, and a place where ALL are welcome - this is your place. Love Wins!

  Ruthanne, Nikki and team did a great job with our wedding weekend! Ruthanne was very responsive and thoughtful. Leading up to the wedding, she was very collaborative and offered great suggestions. She also helped us organize our vision and stayed up late setting up our reception area! Nikki came in as our day of coordinator and was also very collaborative. She offered great suggestions and maintained a cool calm and collected demeanor to orchestrate a beautiful day! The hotel, restaurant and event staff were also super helpful, professional, accommodating and kind! Thank you all!!

  Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort was beyond Amazing!!

  We still are amazed by the serviced received from Kiln Creek staff. Ruthanne the venue wedding coordinator worked with us for the past 6-7 months to make sure everything was in order. She was very hands on the day of the wedding. She assisted our wedding coordinator in so many ways which made our day perfect. Ruthanne was very professional and genuine. She really expressed her concerns of wanting our wedding to be however we imagine it to be. She meet with us several times throughout the year to discuss weddings details and assisted with creating a timeline. She definitely went above and beyond to assist with our wedding process. Jordan the front desk staff was amazing. He would assist all the guest with their room information whenever they contact the venue. We meet Dee the restaurant supervisor the day before the wedding. She was amazing. She told us she is here to help any way. She assisted with the rehearsal dinner along with staff and they did a great job!! The day after the wedding, Dee provides us with a table at the restaurant when there was an 1hr wait. She stated, this is my bride and groom, please seat them. We received the best hospitality from ALL the staff at Kiln Creek. Ruthann you definitely were amazing and Justin and I would like to thank you for making our Big day more than what we could imagine.

  Thank you to Ruthanne Ferguson for a superb experience! On Friday, July 7th, my husband and I, with our families hosted a romantic evening wedding ceremony and reception. We had the ceremony in the Nest ballroom and reception in the Peninsula room. Both ballrooms were spacious and able to accommodate our party of 125 people. We appreciate all the complimentary decor at our disposal to use. Ruthanne had so many options for us to look at, chantilly chairs, table numbers, and charger plates. Our guests are still gushing over how beautiful both spaces are and how lush the golf course looks!
  
  
  The staff was so welcoming to our guests! We were truly taken care of by Ruthanne. The months leading up to the event, she was such a pleasure to work with. She worked well with our requirements for food and beverage. Her attention to detail helped us go through their extensive menu to select the right entrees and cocktails to create the perfect menu.   Perfect Venue!

There are three or four areas to choose for your ceremony and/or reception. Some outdoors and some indoors.   Such an amazing venue package !

  From beginning to end this place was top tier. Ruthanne went out of her way to make things easy and smooth for us from the 9 months before when we started planning. Everyone complimented us on how smooth everything went . Definitely worth the price !

  Sunflower Wedding

  One thing I really enjoyed about this venue is that they included 2 free nights stay in our package! Ruthanne was also helpful and knowledgeable of a lot of things and helped us make decisions that contributed to our wedding day! I can honestly say she went above and beyond to make our wedding day run smooth and look beautiful!

  Kiln creek was the perfect place to have my wedding, the peninsula room was absolutely gorgeous. Nikky worked with me throughout the whole time leading up to the wedding and the day-of. I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding day. Thanks Nikky and the Kiln Creek staff!

  Beautiful Venue

  I had my wedding at Kiln Creek this past weekend and everything was amazing! Nikky is a literal angel. She was so friendly, nice, and knowledgable. I had tons of questions throughout the process and she was always quick to answer all of them. Kiln Creek itself was a beautiful venue for the wedding. The arch and backdrop for the outdoor ceremony were perfect. The Peninsula Room Ballroom was so stunning and the perfect size for our wedding. Everything was decorated exactly how I was picturing, which was great considering Nikky and her team handled all of the setup, decoration, and clean up. Nikky is also an amazing coordinator! She stuck to our timeline and kept everything running smoothly, we could not have done this wedding without her. The food was delicious, we got so many compliments on the cocktail hour food and the plated dinner. Service was great, the plated dinner came out quickly for everyone. The bartender was excellent! We kept her working hard throughout the night and she kept up just fine! Our signature drinks were great. Kiln Creek also offers tons of decor to use, which is definitely a cost saver. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say. Highly recommend Kiln Creek if you are looking for a beautiful place to have your wedding or event!

  A Magical Experience

  Nikky and the Kiln Creek staff have became like family over the past year. They have hosted several events in regards to our wedding, including my bridal shower, our wedding, and our reception 3 months later. Nikky and her team took care of all the minor details like decorating the venue, coordinating vendors as they arrived, welcoming guests, and calming the nerves of a high strung bride. They are highly responsive, have wonderful ideas, and I know our special day would not have been the same without them. We cannot thank Nikky and her team enough for making our day so magical. We highly recommend Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort for any event you have coming up!

  Worth every penny

  The crew at kiln creek was worth every penny! We decided to go with them because if the reviews and ease it seemed they provided. When I tell you I didn’t have to lift a finger the day of my wedding day! They made sure everything was done (beautifully), made sure we are and got cake/cupcakes Togo, the bartender also even made sure we ate when we came back for more drinks.

  Amazing Experience

  It's hard to know where to start. First meeting Nikky when we booked a tour was great. Pricing and what is included in the packages is amazing! Especially the room they provided us the night before, day of (where we got ready) and night of the wedding. This is our first and only wedding so Jason and I didn't know alot about the details of certain things. She's really nice and understanding because we had alot of questions throughout our planning. She didn't get irritated or annoyed, which means alot. On the wedding rehearsal, I miscommunicated the start time and the way the room to be set up but Nikky was sweet that she made it all work. The wedding day was beyond my expectations. Even more so, the guests all raved about the service, food, and how organized the wedding was. We can't thank Nikky enough for all the time, effort, and sweat equity her and her team put in for Jason and I. Nikky is gifted at what she does and I would recommend anyone here!

  Amazing!!!

  I am so happy that I chose this venue for my wedding! Nikky, the wedding coordinator, made it such an amazing experience! Every part of the day from start to finish was absolutely perfect!

  Gorgeous venue!

  Nicky was a blast to work with!! She made sure our day went without a single hitch! She and her crew went above and beyond and I could not be more proud to have had our big day at their venue!!

  Amazing venue!

  This venue was absolutely amazing. We were supposed to get married in 2019 but we did end up pushing it to 2021. Nikky was amazing and was able to push it forward without any price change,since the prices did end up going up from the venue. Nikky was always available to answer any and all questions and was very good at communicating everything. The day of she was constantly looking at the weather and informed me as soon as she could if we were able to have the wedding outside or in. I also want to say that the food and drinks were AMAZING. The bartender did such a great job on the drinks. I can't lie I crave the margarita she made every day.

  Wonderful experience with this venue!

  My husband and I loved having our wedding at Kiln Creek. A big factor that went into choosing this venue was that there was an easy "Plan B" in case of rain. It ended up raining on our wedding day and moving the ceremony inside to the ballroom was seamless and was still absolutely beautiful. Another big factor was the good reviews I had heard about their wedding coordinator, Nikky, and let me say the good reviews are all true. Nikky was so helpful during each step of the wedding-planning process. She was extremely responsive with all of my questions. Her and her staff helped make my wedding as stress-free as possible! We also heard from the guests that the food was good! Of course we didn't get to eat much so we'll have to take their word for it! All in all, highly recommend Kiln Creek for your wedding venue!

  Loved this venue

  Our wedding turned out so beautiful thanks to this beautiful venue, Nikky and all the staff. I didn’t have a wedding planner but Nikky was great guidance and ran the entire wedding day. I had seen several venues in the Hampton Roads area and Kiln Creek had the luxury feel without breaking the bank and our guests loved it.

  Perfect Venue

  Kiln Creek is an amazing venue! The grounds are beautiful and the staff is awesome, especially Nikky! The ceremony space is beautiful and they have many options of where your reception can be held to fit your taste. I recommend this venue for brides looking for a flawless experience with the combination of a great coordinator, nice scenery, and an outdoor ceremony.

  When we started looking at venues, we wanted one that included food and drinks so Kiln Creek was high on the list. But Nikky was the deciding factor. She was so responsive, especially as the wedding drew closer and we had more and more details to finalize. We had a smaller wedding but the downstairs ballroom was gorgeous and the staff worked tirelessly to make sure my day was perfect. I highly recommend Kiln Creek. Great staff, beautiful venue and a great value.
