Dawn is great at helping us plan our day! She is always quick to respond and very accommodating!

Kimball Jenkins was not only a beautiful location that met our needs, but the coordinator (Dawn) was fantastic. She met us at the location several times, gave us information that we never would have thought to ask, and was there the full day of our wedding (without being in the way) to help with any last minute questions/requests. We couldn't have asked for a more seamless and beautiful location to have chosen.

This review is a way overdue but necessary. The Kimball Jenkins Estate was everything I could have hoped for for my wedding and more. Dawn was absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. She had answers to every question, made stellar recommendations and was always there to assist when needed. She made sure everything went smoothly leading up to the event and was there the day-of. The whole property was ours for the day and I loved the flexibility of vendors. When we first started looking at venues, we knew that we wanted flexibility and the Kimball Jenkins Estate offered that. We were able to get ready on-site, and make the entire property ours for the day (my photographer even dragged me to the attic!). She even let us use the carriage house oven when there was a cookie emergency. :) The grounds were beautifully maintained and my guests were raving of the beauty of the property. I cannot say enough good things about Dawn and the Kimball Jenkins Estate and would recommend to anyone!

I wouldn't have chosen any other venue. Kimball Jenkins is beautiful and you get the entire property for the whole day (this allows for many photo locations, see my pictures). Dawn is extremely helpful and knows the answer to any question you might have. I didn't feel stressed out at all planning my wedding because of her. Thank you for making our wedding day so special!

Just had my wedding this past weekend (9/9/17) at the Kimball Jenkins Estate and it was amazing! Such a beautiful and affordable venue. We kept the guest list under 80 so that we could use the buildings and it worked wonderfully! We used the mansion for cocktail hour, dancing, photo booth and bar. We used the carriage house for dinner and cake! Our ceremony was in the garden area! It was perfect!! Dawn was amazing to work with and was there to answer any questions or give recommendations throughout the planning process, as well as on the day of the event! Anything we needed she did her best to make happen for us. We loved the venue and so did our guests! Well worth the cost and work of securing outside vendors! My husband and I also loved knowing our rental went back to the art school!

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Kimball Jenkins and Dawn, the event coordinator there. The second my fiance and I stepped onto the property, we knew we wanted to get married there! The vintage property is absolutely gorgeous. We opted to have our ceremony in the garden area, cocktail hour in the mansion, and reception in the carriage house (although you can really do whatever suits your needs). Not only that, but the property was very affordable, especially considering that you can utilize so much of the property.
As if we weren't sold on this place already, Dawn is absolutely amazing. She handled our rentals for us, which lifted a huge burden. She has endless wedding knowledge regarding vendors, decor and general ideas. She's so personable, fun and truly cares about the whole experience. Very communicative, she responded so quickly to any questions I had through email, and was there on our wedding day to ensure everything went smoothly! Even when we had to move the ceremony into the mansion, everything was coordinated perfectly. There's nothing that could have made this day, venue or overall experience or more stress-free. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kimball Jenkins and Dawn to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

Kimball Jenkins is an amazing location for weddings and events of all sizes - they can fit 25 or 300! Dawn is amazing to work with - very thoughtful, positive, and responsive. KJE is a great location, beautiful setting, and a great price. I feel very lucky that I got to get married in such a beautiful location in my own hometown!

Dawn, Bob, and the Kimball-Jenkins venue, overall, were phenomenal. Dawn (event coordinator) was very professional, friendly, supportive and (most importantly for me) present. Dawn responded to my calls, texts and emails within minutes, not hours or days. Dawn and her team really went "over the top" to ensure everything went off without a hitch, from sitting down with me during the planning phase, to setup of tables and chairs, to directing the vendors/guests to their proper locations. I was incredibly pleased, and not only give the highest recommendation, but I will certainly be using Kimball-Jenkins Estate for my future needs.

We were married in the carriage house and had our cocktail reception and dancing in the main house. It was lovely and the perfect spot for a New Year's Eve wedding.

Cannot say enough great things about Dawn and the Kimball Jenkins Estate.
We were not local to Concord, but had a list of requirements that brought us to the Estate including:
- We wanted a historic place
- We wanted to bring our own alcohol (we wanted very specific imported Belgium and German beers)
-No extra frills--we wanted a small, simple, fun, but elegant wedding on a budget
- We wanted autonomy in planning, choosing caterers etc.
KJ checked all of these boxes

+ Beautiful Mansion and grounds, with lots of photo ops
+ Dawn is AMAZING. She is honest, trustworthy, responsible and reliable. She will not try to sell you on extra, unnecessary things. She is also incredibly generous with the resources at the Estate. She tries her best to work with you to make the most our of your budget and will give great advice about local vendors. She will work her butt off to make sure your event is what you want it to be and that it runs smoothly. There was a big event at KJ the night before, and Dawn was nice enough to leave extra decorations like flowers, and such--but when I saw some I didn't like she was fast to remove them.
+ Your rental gives you full reign of the entire estate for the entire day--that includes the garden, Mansion and Carriage House.
+ There are rooms for the B and G to get ready
+ Dawn was flexible as I changed my mind about dance floors, etc.
+ Great restaurants, caterers, hotels, etc in the area

We were looking for a venue that would let us choose our own vendors. I'm happy we went with Kimball Jenkins. As artists ourselves, we also liked that we were supporting an art school and a historical property. Throughout the whole process, Dawn was great. She was there every step of the way, from making sure we were selecting vendors in a timely manner to keeping track of everything and coordinating with the vendors herself. She was even able to take care of some very last minute requests from the caterer. On our wedding day, she was there to take care of everything that needed to be taken care of.

We wanted a diy wedding, and were originally thinking we could handle it all ourselves, but I'm so glad Dawn was there to help. It definitely took a lot of stress off our shoulders.

We got married in the main house and held our reception in the carriage house on 12/30/2013. As soon as we stepped into the house, we realized it was exactly what we wanted: (a) a one stop place for everything, (b) the ability to choose our own vendors, (c) a charming, quaint, elegant place, (d) a wonderful wedding coordinator. We are so happy we chose this estate! Dawn understands the business and managed us so well. She knew when to step in, when to give advice, and when to stay silent. Everything was the way we wanted it.

Beautiful setting both indoors and out!

My whole experience with Kimball Jenkins was awesome! Dawn was so helpful with every little question that I had. The day before the wedding, there were some branches blocking the ceremony site, Dawn got them trimmed up right away. She also helped to coordinate my tent and table rentals. She worked with all of my vendors to get me the best deals and made sure that my wedding turned out amazing!

Dawn, my contact person for Kimball-Jenkins took responsiveness to a whole new level. She answered all my emails with lightning speed! The venue itself was made much more beautiful by the gorgeous day we ended up having. I had asked for a podium to do my sand ceremony on pretty last minute and not only was one provided, but it also had a purple cloth covering it and purple was one of my colors, so that was a nice touch. Another amazing touch which I did not expect at all was that Dawn took some photos of the ceremony and emailed them to me in an album that very same day! I was able to look at them in the hotel room on our wedding night. It tided me over until I got my professional photographers photos back.

Dawn is always very responsive and the on-site support staff are terrific.

We wanted a unique venue that offered ceremony and reception space. Kimball Jenkins offered that. Dawn was there every step of the way to help with whatever I needed. All of our guests raved about how beautiful our wedding was and how much they loved the venue. It was perfect!

All of my interactions and requests of the Kimball-Jenkins Estate were excellent and marked by professionalism and a clear sense of what we wanted and how to make it work. It was the catering company /workers that were less stellar and brought the average down a bit. The first estimate for the caterer for just coffee service and dish, flat, glass and serving ware was high -- and it is not my first go-round with catering. The two women who showed up were very nice, but were sent out to buy wine with instructions from us and bought cheap wine from Shaw's rather than follow our instructions. They handed change and receipts back in a crumpled mess, and were not exactly vigorous in their clean-up efforts. In the early part of the evening especially, we needed cups and plates and serving dishes cleared. Then they kind of stopped and hung out in the kitchen as if just waiting. Most embarrassing was when they were leaving and kind of hung around as if waiting for a tip. I said, "i just want to be sure that we got this right and that the gratuity was included in the bill," to which she shrugged and replied "I don't know" as if I were supposed to tip her more or I don't know what. It was just awkward. It would be helpful to know beforehand how that should have been handled. Other than that, the KJE staff did not miss a beat and it was a truly lovely experience that many attendees agreed was the nicest Memorial Service they'd ever attended.
