If you are looking for a wedding that will wow your guests and give you great views, Kimpton Aertson Hotel is just that. We were looking for something intimate and most of our guests were coming from out of town so we wanted to give them the Nashville views. The rooftop is beautiful you get an amazing view of the city, and the food is amazing! The staff is so attentive & friendly. I can not recommend Kimpton Aertson enough. Plus the price is very reasonable! -

Belle wax our onsite coordinator at the Kimpton - she was absolutely amazing! She worked so well with our wedding planner, Florist, DJ and all outside vendors. The food and service was excellent! Where else in Nashville can you have a rooftop bar cocktail hour and a full , upper level , 2 side windows with outside terrace ballroom all to yourselves?! Our wedding got full attention all weekend! Perfect suite and hotel accommodations for out of state guests and a wonderful suite for bridal ready room- just 2 blocks from the cathedral. It was truly perfect! The Kimpton, Weddings by Rachel planner, Kathy Hammer design florist, and our DJ nailed it!!! -

The perfect wedding
From the venue, to the food and drinks everything was phenomenal!! First off pictures do not do this venue justice!! It is breathtaking. Our wedding was on the 17th floor Woodlea Room. We had access to the rooftop space as well as inside which gave us lots of room for mingling. We went with the micro wedding package as we were from out of state, wanted to keep our wedding on the smaller side and wanted to keep all the vendors in house. The venue itself is so gorgeous and has so much character we chose not to do much decorating.
The food is catered by the Henley restaurant inside the hotel and is to die for! We loved the buffet style as that fit the relaxed vibe we were going for. We had them cater our desserts as we aren’t big cake people. We had chocolate peanut butter shots and fresh fruit tarts-they were to die for!
All of the staff at the Aertson Hotel was phenomenal but I have to give extra praise to one employee in particular who truly went above and beyond from the moment we met her. Belle Jackson, the catering manager that we worked with was top notch. Truly a wonderful caring person and she helped our big day go so smoothly. We threw some last minute requests at her and she was able to accommodate us. She give great suggestions of places to check out for us as all our guests were from out of town, she made sure our vendors(DJ , florist, and photographer) knew where they needed to park, where they needed to go and have access to the private floor we would be on for our wedding day. She kept in contact with us throughout the big day checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Belle stayed up to our reception when she was way past her shift ending. We were so happy we got to work with her as she was just a wonderful person who makes you feel special about your big day.

We can't say enough about the incredible job Liz and the entire Kimpton Aertson team did to make our wedding reception magical and memorable. From the very beginning, Liz was responsive, detailed, and incredibly helpful. The end result was far beyond our expectations - hosting in the Woodlea Room was phenomenal for our smaller sit down down, the perfect spot to share with family and friends. Massive shout out to the team at Henley for the delicious food and creative craft cocktails to make our night complete - not to mention the crew onsite that evening to cater to our every need. We'd recommend this experience to anyone - thank you for being such an integral part of our big day! -

If I could give the Aertson Hotel more than five stars, I would. Everything about my experience working with the hotel to plan our wedding was positive. The Director of Catering, Liz Hughes, was so attentive and quick to respond to my many questions and made sure that every need was met. The hotel staff were helpful and kind. The hotel itself is gorgeous and exactly what we wanted for our wedding. We used the 17th floor patio for our ceremony and the inside bar area for the reception and it was the perfect size for our group of about 80 people (although it fits more). The food was catered by the hotel chef and was a big hit with our guests. We were also given a complimentary stay in one of the suites the night of the wedding, which was thoughtfully prepared for us (including a bottle of chilled champagne upon arrival) and a relaxing way to end the day.
Again, I cannot recommend the Aertson Hotel enough to anyone in the Nashville area looking for a wedding venue. You will not be disappointed!

Classic with a Modern Twist
Beautiful is an understatement with this venue. When we walked into the ballroom and then saw the rooftop - we knew this was a BRILLIANT place to host our wedding. The views are unbelievable and the food is beyond fantastic. You and your guests will not be disappointed for one second during their stay - PS the bedrooms are so comfortable! On top of that, my vendors for hair and makeup came here to help get us ready. This was the first time they were at this venue and they were so pleased with the space we had and all the amenities available for them to help get us looking our best. Not only am I recommending this place, but so are they! :) Liz Hughes and Cory Adams are the best in the business and will help you elevate your event to the max! We had an absolutely wonderful rehearsal dinner with the Kimpton Aertson hotel. The hotel staff was warm and accommodating, and Liz Hughes (director of catering) was absolutely spectacular in helping coordinate all the details for the dinner. It made our experience unforgettable! -

Mel Sent on 11/29/2021The Perfect Intimate Rooftop Wedding
When I walked into the space, I knew right away that it was perfect and checked every box I was looking for. We were having a smaller wedding, and I didn't want to feel lost in a ballroom and I really wanted my guest to experience an outdoor space and this was perfect.
The girls and I used the boardroom to get ready for the day, and it was perfect having the large space and it didn't feel like a "boardroom" it was beautiful and we could spread out and enjoy each other and had access for pictures outside.
My vision of a perfect evening outside was the challenged when rain moved in. My coordinator and the hotel staff worked almost minute by minute making the call to keep it out of the ballroom space and in their rooftop space. I don't know exactly what all went on, but I know the final calls and adjustments were made approximately 30 minutes before guests were to arrive. So for that I give FLEXIBILITY ten stars! Truly the night was beautiful, the staff was awesome.
The guests said the food was great, unfortunately I was having to much fun and never ate, I do not recommend that!
Liz our Catering contact was incredibly responsive. While I tried to wait and ask questions all at once, sometimes I just sent random e-mails and she responded promptly every time. There were a few tweaks I needed and she just took care of everything with ease. It was overall just a perfect experience and it was easy!

Accommodating and Friendly
Belle was excellent to work with. We were planning our wedding from England and the micro wedding package was perfect for us. We had to move our ceremony indoors due to rain and we actually were happy that we did in the end. It made the ceremony feel more intimate. The food was amazing and the views were absolutely amazing. Belle accommodated our every need throughout the process. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an all inclusive option! -

Fabulous Rehearsal Dinner
The Catering Director was very helpful with planning for our Rehearsal Dinner. This is a beautiful 8th story-venue with view of the city and outside terrace for great pictures. Good selection/choices for alcohol, apps, entrees and desserts. Food, although expensive, was delicious, well presented and enjoyed by all. Banquet manager met every request and and other staff were attentive as well. This venue is great for a Mid-town event near the Vanderbilt area! -

Belle went above & beyond to make our wedding perfect! The extra touches that we never discussed made it perfect. We got lucky with the weather, but the venue & sunset photos made it magical. Our guests felt welcomed by the entire Aertson staff and raved about the food selections! Perfect day!!!
